I had the absolute pleasure of being the lead artist on Ludia’s D&D game, Warriors of Waterdeep for close to 3 years. Having a talented team of concept artists led to some beautiful work but I did save one of my favorite monsters for my self, the good ol’ Gnoll.

Tried some new brushes and had some inspiration from an illustration by Ashley Mckenzie, felt good to have some energy to do art, cause this year’s been lacking.

The wugflum may not be the most graceful and elegant of creatures that muck about in the riverlands south of Sol’Kesh but it is an effective hunter in it’s own way. Laying in the muddy banks it lets its long viscid seaweed-like tongue out into the quick stream, any small fish or tadpoles that happen to nibble on the sticky tendril are quickly snared and pulled into its gate-like toothy maw.

In the last days of the age of Gods, the All-Father Odin, summoned his allies to his throne. Among those were the glorious and enigmatic light elves from Alfheim, they and their god ruler Fryer swore their arms to the All-Father for the final battle for Midgard. These swords are among those laid at Odin's throne, forged for the end times of Ragnarok.

The Sol’Kesh built upon the glories of the past, knowing the purpose but failing the methods to build such long standing structures, this was to be their last lighthouse.

Painted some scenery for fun, definitely not my comfort zone but it got me recharged a bit after a 6 month day-job-overtime burn.

Dredged up from the chaotic mires of the Abyss, the glathaxus horrors that spawn when summoning spells go awry are hard to categorize. They’ve been known to vomit forth into existence, attack, flee and sometimes even aid those that called them into the material plane by accident.

With being able to sprout feathers to fly, grow bladed limbs to kill and chatter dozens of languages at once - with each sentence contradicting the last, the glathaxus is better off killed on the spot, lest it escapes and spoils the sane world.

The Dacians are a race of bear-like people living a quiet isolated life amongst their own kind in the far northlands of Rhune.

To summon this little surly mite of a demon, a master of the arcane must craft a Beezleband ring. Once worn for a full moon, place the ring on a stone surface smeared with ash and animal fat. The beezleband demon will then grow within the ring, sullenly doing it’s master’s bidding as it waddles about complaining and flailing it’s nerve-deadening whip-like arms.

Mesopotamian weapons for an upcoming book by Stormbunny Studios.

Really enjoyed working with the bronze tones, adding the vibrant oranges to the blade was a nice change from the steel and iron of the usual blades I draw up.
