Sub Zero Refrigerator Freezer Error Codes

There are many different model numbers of Sub-Zero refrigerators with digital displays so if you see an error code write down what is flashing or displaying.

Don’t pull the power from the fridge if it shows an error code. If you pull the power plug it will erase the fault code.

How do you reset a fridge

Frigidiare

Press the reset ... or Frigidaire refrigerators are equipped with an electronic control panel to adjust various settings on the appliance, including the temperature in the refrigerator and the freezer.

Pressing certain buttons in tandem causes the electronic circuitry to enter diagnostic mode, which enables you to check different appliance functions and troubleshoot for problems.

No special tools are required to enter the diagnostic mode, which displays information on the front LED panel for easy viewing.

Step 1

Press and hold the "Freezer Temperature UP" and the "Freezer Temperature DOWN" buttons at the same time.

Step 2

Release and press the buttons together twice more within five seconds to enter the diagnostic mode to test the Frigidaire.

Step 3

Press the "Freezer Temperature UP" button when the LED displays "1" to toggle through the different service menu tests, which are numbered 1 through 8.

Step 4

Push the "Fresh Food Temperature UP" button after selecting a service test to scroll through the options for that particular test.

Step 5

Unplug the Frigidaire power cord for 30 seconds and reconnect to exit the diagnostic mode.

Try resetting the control panel by turning off power to the refrigerator briefly.

Unplug the refrigerator or turn it off at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds to reset the control.

Troubleshooting GE Arctica refrigerator Evaporator Fan problems

One of the first smooth moves you’ll want to do when troubleshooting evaporator fan motor problems in a GE Arctica refrigerator is to put it into diagnostic mode.

Here’s how:

Self Diagnostics

To enter Self Diagnostic mode, both temperature control panel displays must be illuminated.

A display can be illuminated by pressing an adjacent temperature adjustment button. When both displays are illuminated, set the freezer and refrigerator temperature settings to 5.

Simultaneously press and hold all 4 temperature adjustment buttons for approximately 3 seconds.

A flashing 0 in the refrigerator and freezer displays will indicate that the refrigerator is in Self Diagnostic mode.

For temperature control panels with single-digit displays, the COLDER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers up and the WARMER temperature adjustment button will increment the numbers down.

Use the freezer temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the freezer display.

Use the refrigerator temperature adjustment buttons to enter the test code number in the refrigerator display.

When a test code has been entered, the displays will flash to confirm the test.

Press the HOLD button for 3 seconds to begin the test.

When testing has been completed, do one of the following things:

• Enter code 1 5 to completely reset the system.

• Enter code 1 6 to exit diagnostic mode.

The temperature control panel is reset automatically.

• Unplug the refrigerator for at least 10 seconds.

Test mode will terminate when the refrigerator is plugged back in.

Test mode will terminate automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity

Jenn-Air

Press and hold the Light and Lock buttons until the change filter light flashes.

KitchenAid

Press down and release the refrigerator light switch 5 times within 10 seconds.

How to Reset Samsung Refrigerator OF OF Code:

On the DISPLAY Panel…

1 – Press the POWER FREEZE and the FREEZER buttons at same time.

2 – Hold the 2 buttons for 3 to 5 seconds.

3 – This will reset the refrigerator back to normal and the fridge will begin cooling again.

OR depending on refrigerator model…

-Press the ENERGY SAVER and the POWER FREEZER buttons until you hear an audible beep.

OR depending on refrigerator model…

– Press the two buttons on the left side of the display panel. (top left button and the button below it)

– Hold the 2 buttons for 3 to 5 seconds or until you hear a bell sound.

– This will reset the refrigerator back to normal and the fridge will begin cooling again.

How do I reset the change filter light?

Any new refigerators will have a water filter indicator light. This light will notify you when it is time to change your water filter.

The downside is that it does not automatically reset once you have changed your filter. Resetting the filter light on your refrigerator is slightly different for each manufacturer.
