no I think Kurt Tank was someone else

Portrait of evil: SS-Brigadefuehrer Kurt Meyer, commander of the 12th SS Panzer Division “Hitlerjugend” poses in 1947-pattern “England” camouflage.
A ruthless tactician and firm Social Darwinist, Meyer led his famously fanatical troops in suicide mission after suicide mission, going up against impossible odds and never wearing a helmet in battle.
In 1944, Meyer’s brutal 12th SS, comprised mainly of boys under eighteen, was assigned to deal with partisans harassing German troops from the thick English woods. Inciting his vulnerable charges into orgies of violence and brutality (famously, partisan leader Ewen Montagu was crucified with bayonets) Meyer ensured the partisan attacks stopped once and for all.
The 12th SS became feared throughout the land; as one British source noted “they swagger about with impunity– no-one dares deny them their wishes”.
The effect this sort of brutality had on the young soldiers, no one asked, until the suicide rate of 12th SS members reached ten percent.
Meyer himself was killed in 1952 by a disturbed ex-12th SS soldier, who stabbed him to death in broad daylight before slitting his own throat. The assassin was 23 years old.
The 12th SS itself was disbanded shortly thereafter.

@thewhitenerd713 sends us two exposures of a Cross-Universe Flux Matrix Entry Zone (Class Megative F/ive/our, from the looks of the argonite ring patterning). Based on the surrounding landscape and the relative height of the individual pictured, I’d say this is from the New Britain Free Zone, and that the photographed fellow is Doctor Salomon Jonas, DDS, FRCD(C). Dr. Jonas is one of the few dentists who maintains a substantial cross-universe presence-- he collects new dental techniques or interesting pieces of dental ephemera.
I would ask @thewhitenerd713 how they got their hands on this one.

Audio
Music from Nefesh Mountain, one of the many "in-house" bands of the Oklahoma Free Hebrew Farming Commune. Composed of the descendants of the gerim toshavism (righteous converts) who converted en masse in the mid-1800s shortly after the Civil War, and the freed Jewish serfs who came to America after the fall of the Romanovs in the 1870s. Nefesh Mountain is a married couple from the colony who got their start playing the famous Motzey Shabes Stomps, one-half tent revival and one-half kumzitz, that have drawn so many to the colony. They play traditional bluegrass music that incorporates Jewish themes and many classic prayers and piyyutim. Enjoy!

Ever run across a world with Liberia as a state in the US?
Two. In the first one, Liberia is more or less an American diplomatic outpost in Africa with several import-export office. Most of the slaves and their families were returned to the USA in around 1905 and given land in their former home states as compensation. The remainders are generally black graduates of the Ivy League universities-- they serve as diplomats, customs officials, and import-exporters.
In the second, Liberia is America’s new frontier, with all the horrors and wonders that entails. I didn’t stay long.

Just wondering, in all your travels how many ""zions" have you ran across? And what's your favorite? And by Zions I mean a jewish homeland not necessarily in the middle east.
I’ve never yet found a timeline where Jews don’t win some sort of self-determination. We’ve had homes in Uganda, Argentina, Alaska, Iran, Birobidzhan, and Saskatchewan.
My personal favourite is the Jewish Home Lands in Saskatchewan. Financed by a group of wealthy London magnates who wanted to see the Jews “return to the land”, it is a generally peaceful, near-socialistic commune of religious and quasi-religious Jews who attempt to live in accordance with Rav Kook’s principles of being good to the earth and themselves while pursuing a higher knowledge.
My least favourite is the Anlgo-Jewish Uganda Colony.
The weirdest is Tziyon Netzach, a Max-Nordau-meets-Abba-Ahimeir “muscular Jewish” Revisionist Maximalist paradise sprawling from the Mediterranean to the Euphrates, that is close allies with Fascist Italy and won WWII by kicking all the Western powers out of the Mideast while importing 99% of Europe’s Jews faster than Hitler could kill them. It’s ridiculous. The Prime Minister is Meir Kahane and the President is Ariel Sharon. They are technically at war with the United States and Britain, Kurdistan is their protectorate, and they really seem to hate Turks.
Mi k’amcha Yisrael.

Love The Immortals concept. Two questions: Did the Nazis ever attempt to replicate this? If so, was this effort led by Untersturmführer Thomas Eichhorst?
Of course. If you look deeper in the notes, you’ll fine @dieselpunkflimflam‘s research notes into the Nazi attempt to build on the work of the shadowy group who created the Immortals shortly before the First World War.
Eichhorst appears as a footnote in the Nazi experiments, but a prominent footnote. He is mentioned specifically by Hans Schmidt, who is listed in most documents as the “Research Head” of the program (Hans Schmidt is of course not a real name; the being known as Hans Schmidt does not appear to have been human) as an “excellent and loyal officer and a capable recruiter for our program”. This footnote was circled by Himmler in red.

In the timelines where the Yucatan's annexation to the US went through, how were the Mayans treated? How much of the gulf did the US end up controlling? Did Mexico get dragged into the civil war with a promise to give them the peninsula? Did other south American nations ask for annexation? Did the CIA arrange any of these?
I’ve only seen one timeline where that went down, and I hiked south from ‘Frisco to the massive Indian Holding Areas that straddled the former border. Near as I could tell, the USA inherited a massive and unmanaged “Indian problem” from Mexico, and set about dealing with in inimitable American style-- attempting to kill them all off.
The Holding Areas were essentially massive open-air starvation camps, with draconian punishments for attempted escape and a ration system designed to slowly starve the Mayans to death.
I didn’t stay long enough to find out about the Civil War, but when I visited next (around 1983/4) I heard some whispers about the CIA “weaponizing dictators” to use against Marxist influences in South America; the “Banana Bloc”, a kind of ultra-capitalist privatized hell consisting of all of Central America from the Yucatan on down, was rumoured to be the CIA’s buffer against Communism sneaking in by land.
I’ve never visited the Banana Bloc, and I don’t really want to. I’ve heard the excesses committed there on a daily basis make the Belgian Congo look like a picnic.

I came across a timeline where John Lennon survived and kept making music, eventually collaborating with Oneotrix Point Never, Trent Reznor, Cameron Boucher, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. George died in the 1990's, preceding the Second Korean War, of which Sean Lennon resisted the draft. The Second Korean War stirred up a lot of controversy, but eventually led to global nuclear disarmament. Do you know about this one? It also had Brian Eno co-producing OK Computer by Radiohead.
I know the timeline you refer to, and it’s super fun to hang around in. Around 1997, the year of Corean reunification, things get really interesting. The music is cool, Radiohead is a good and worthwhile band to listen to, and the livin’ is generally easy.
I visit that TL (the index name and coding numbers escape me; maybe you remember) to relax, chill out in a world much more peaceful and secure than our own, and feel at peace. Next time you visit, let’s meet up, You can usually find me hanging with the American occupying troops in Ceasefire Zone Kilo. The air is clear over there.

Can you tell me about Wakandas effect on the American-Anglo wars of the 1870s? I know Robert E lee led the charge on Gotham? But other then that my knowledge is limited
...Wakanda’s not a real country, bro. Also, Robert E. Lee is a fictional character created by Confederate President Jefferson Davis in order to bolster Southron morale during the War of Southron Secession. Davis figured that a true Southron gentleman who was opposed to owning slaves would be an excellent way not only to improve the morale of his own troops but to shake the confidence of the Union troops in their own cause-- if the Confederacy’s top general was opposed to slavery, how legitimate could the Union cause be?
As for the Charge on Gotham (”Gotham” being a nickname for New York), that was led by George Pickett, and it failed. That’ll be another post.
“Robert E. Lee” (the “E” never stood for anything, by the way. Judah Benjamin suggested it be thrown in there so “the name sounds more pleasant”) was played by Junius Booth until Booth was killed by shrapnel at Third Antietam in 1870.

Two questions! Have you written a book, comic, epic poem, or other form of media that I can throw money at your face for? Do you intend to?
I write short stories on my personal blog lol, but they’re mainly about either being Jewish, being in the military, or both, because those are like the only two facets of my personality.
Whatever material I publish on here will be free to everyone forever, but if someday I publish a book, ya’ll will be the first to know.

Thanks you for showing more people about the Immortal Germans. They really devastated my nation and my town. I added my own little bit about their effects on the Belgian monarchy, hope you don't mind.
I noticed! That’s a facet of the Immortal story I had no idea existed-- can you recommend any good Belgian literature on the subject? Any memoirs or after-action reports?

I understand much of what you do is fiction, but can usually tease out the historical underpinnings of it. I was curious though, you stated in another response that "the death of all of Judea's Jews resulted in the later death of 97.5% of Europe's population during the Black Death" and was wondering what the connection was there.
the connection is pretty tenuous, but it results from the idea that, because Jews believe in ritual handwashing, our populations were the only ones to survive in any kind of numbers. this also meant that we were blamed for the black death in the first place.
i guess what i was going for was the idea of a butterfly effect, but if i were to revisit that now, i’d say that the deaths of Judea’s Jews meant that Europe would have been poorer in every conceivable way-- economically, scientifically, philosophically, theologically-- due to the massive influence Jews had in each of these areas.
but, looking back on the post in hindsight, the deaths of Judea’s Jews would not have changed the total European death toll during the black death
