Been a year since I started drawing fanarts for Cyberpunk. Artstyle has gotten so much better, my knowledge of the lore has gotten expansive with over 570 hours in game. And now with Update 2.3 and Edgerunners Season 2 just on the horizon, the Cyberpunk fandom is in for a treat.

This is a timelime of my OG Cyberpunk art series. I made this for a friend who's also a fan of the game and anime (and for those who've seen the early chapters, atuck around and came to see my artstyle improve 👏👏)

Chapters 1 to 8 from July 2024 to November 2024, Chapters 9 in May 2025

Never did I have this kind of development before, not when I was drawing fanarts for The Owl House nor Adventure Time. When I was drawing comics for this series, I learned proper anatomy, fine tuning poses and making good lighting. So I owe a lot of thess developments to the Cyberpunk franchise as a whole. It's cathartic. I'm thinking of expanding to other platforms as well. Discussions and shares matter to me more than likes and followers do. I love receiving appraisal, criticism, and joining in on discussions. I can't seem to find much of those on Tumblr, sadly.

I might do redraws of my old fanarts from those showes just to see how the characters there would look like in my artstyle now.

Sandevistan Race!

Their interaction here mirrors that scene in Edgerunners where both David and Adam Smasher use their Sandies simultaneously, surprising David, and making him ask "You have a Sandevistan?", to which Smasher replies "A Rudimentary Implant."

No other piece of chrome is faster than a Sandy that's been heavily modified by bunch of the best techies on the planet.

Back to the original series - Felt as though the last part ended on a cliffhanger with Lucy alone again, and I was like "Nah, gotta give her and V the good ending they both deserve. This is canon to me."

What I love about drawing artworks is that they're not only a way to bring my ideas to life but also to showcase how much I improved over the months regardless of likes or follower count.

A redraw of some AI-generated artwork of Rebecca I found on Instagram. Consider redraws like this as a middle-finger towards so called "artists" who use Artificial Intelligence to make art. You're not real artists, y'all just ain't and you won't be until you pick up a pencil or a stylus pen. Said art of Becca has 28k likes on IG while my artworks barely get 5-7 notes here. What a sad, sad world.

In the end, it's not the number of likes or followers that matter but the passion and excitement for the craft, the improvements and the satisfaction that one may get after creating something good.
