I was unaware all of you had online journals but somehow I feel like giving Dante or Vergil Internet access isn't smart. Do you or Nero have to keep an eye on them? Ps I rather adore you. 💓

Most of us have gotten distracted from these journals due to the daily life of demons and demon hunters, but indeed we do. And you are correct, many of them shouldn't be online. They are clearly far too immature for that. Nero is the one to watch them - I'm currently... Out of town. On vacation. In no way running from the FBI. Even if I were, it wouldn't have been my fault!

Welcome back!

((OOC: Thanks! I'm slightly less busy at the moment and recently started my DMD playthrough of DMC5 (current progress: im bad), so inspiration hit. Also part of that inspiration was shitposting about dmc with friends and coming to the realization that if Dante gets into Smash, then Pokemon. We'll see how long I manage to stick around, though hopefully it's for more than just a couple posts!))

As it turns out, that seemed to be the original problem.

It isn't a problem anymore, mind you. As it turns out, the FBI isn't in fact the organization that steals our data. But I have found the one who does, so I shall be checking that next. For the sake of the rest of Devil May Cry, of course. Certainly not to get blackmail. Not in the slightest.

Though, it is very good to see you again, Griffon! Do try not to die yet again, will you? I cannot go meet up with you at the moment, but I am certain that you two will be fine... As well as Shadow, wherever she is.

If it makes you feel any better, I have been in hiding lately. The government cannot find me. At the moment, I am in Chicago... It is a nice place, though the number of guns pulled on me here may even be more than at Devil May Cry... The police seem to be looking for me on the other side of the country, so I should be fine, don't worry about it too much.

And, ah... It was far more than mere kidnapping and property damage. I have been getting around lately!

Been outta town for a while looking for gigs, didn’t find any though.

Which is both fortunate and unfortunate, apparently demon activity has been low since ‘the incident’. That means we’ll be taking odd jobs for a while.

I do believe it is Pride Month.

I have just been informed by Nero what Pride is, and I must say - I very much like the sound of it. The library is already filled with numerous flags and Griffon is helping me set up more!

Those who wish to exlude people from the festivities, I implore you to mind your own business. Dislike those who swing both ways or don't swing at all, those who do not ascribe to their assigned gender or those who those who don't fit into the binary whatsoever, all you wish - but keep those opinions to yourself. "The man who never alters his opinions is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind." In this celebration of love and acceptance, I implore all those reading to keep your minds open - none can stop you from disagreeing with another's opinion, but one must listen to the opposing argument before declaring it invalid.

Don't be an asshole is what I'm saying. Believe what you will, but don't shove it in anyone's face. Those who have a problem with my own personal lack of interest in the matters of sex or with anybody else's identity can keep it to themselves, lest they get their asses beaten all the way down to hell. This library and this diary of mine are safe places for all during this month of celebration, and don't you forget it.

I had intended for it to be a break from the sheer madness of Devil May Cry, and I must confess that I haven’t been stabbed yet, but… Over these past few months, I have discovered that suburban white mothers are more terrifying than any demon. By this point, Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare are free to do as they please for the majority of the day - I would prefer not to repeat to incident in which a child pulled Shadow’s tail while his mother finagled me about conspiracy theories.

…Still better than Devil May Cry, though.
