Since I haven't seen any Stickmintober prompts (or if there are any I'm stupid and haven't really looked for them), so I decided to create a prompt list for myself (mostly because a while back I told someone I'd consider hosting this).

Anyway, as a small bonus, since I know it's difficult writing a small story for 31 whole days in a row (writing like that should be saved for NaNoWriMo), I thought I'd throw in a bonus writing prompt list as well! Feel free to get creative with the prompts or if you want, use the prompts from the top list.

I will be tracking the tag #stickmintober2023 for those who participate but you can also @ me if you want to see your pieces as well. I understand this is a bit short notice, I am angry w/ myself as well for taking this long to announce something like this (HELL there's prob a better prompt list on Twitter that peeps are prob preparing for that I'm not aware of) but either way, I hope you guys enjoy this little prompt list nonetheless.

That being said, this isn't a competition! Don't burn yourself out trying to chug out equivalents of the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper everyday, just try to keep it simple, esp if it's your first time! And as always, have fun with it too!

2nd Image: Stickmintober 2023 Writing Edition!

Week 1 (Oct 1st-7th) Write about Henry Stickmin. Whether it's a headcanon interpretation of his past or about his life before or after certain events in canon.

Despite the antagonistic relationship between Riku and Sora during KH 1, these two have been best friends since childhood.  Kairi quickly joined their friend group as a child. Now all three are trying to keep each other safe and pull the other two away from the darkness.  

They all have two hands for holding onto each other. (Not canon but it should be)

Courfius:

LIKE UM. basically marius is dirt poor at some point and probably homeless. and then courfeyrac just walks up to him upon overhearing something about that and is just like. 'i am taking you in now. you're with me <3'. and they've been homies ever since

they kind of live together??? and they share clothes and such. courf also helps marius find other new friends!! and introduces him to their friend group!!!

marius saves him from dying on the barricades and then they hug it's very cute.

constantly teases marius about cosette (his crush) endearingly <3. ALSO CANONICALLY: marius voice 'i have come to sleep with you'. for a french novel published in the 1860s that's kinda fruity

and after the barricades marius refers to courf as an intimate friend iirc???

essentially if it wasn't 1832 and also courfeyrac didn't die i think they would've gotten married or something (and sure why not get cosette in there too)

ok i don't know if you know of the-queer-classic-lit-ship-ever but people were campaigning for this dude to get therapy

also technically he is a human but like. he turns into a bug. like a whole bug. a big ass cockroach i think. idk never read it

he bangs his head against a tree when his girlfriend moves away and goes off to the barricades to die. keep in mind he is one of the only ones to survive and watches all his friends die. man probably has depression endgame

Marius: in the book he gets disowned by his grandfather iirc, and joins a revolution group only to get verbally attacked on his first day :( he then goes and helps out at a little rebellion because his girlfriend is moving away and he'd rather die than be without her and then all his friends die :(((((( mans has bad survivor's guilt look at him. he's so silly and victor hugo enjoys traumatising the hell out of him (he also gets dragged through the parisian sewers which is funny to me)
