Absolutely agreed! I personally don’t include any details like that in my fics because I want anyone who reads to feel like they can find themselves in the world I create.

I’m loving the overall creative expression that has come from these fics and the global obsession that seems to follow Agatha Harkness & all the amazing witches from her coven, yet if I was being completely honest though, I really wish y’all would keep in mind that not all of us are blonde haired, blue eyed, “porcelain skin” girls. Some of us are part of different communities and cultures that look nothing like what’s usually described as the reader to look like. it can be quite distracting when most of the stories use that specific set to describe the reader when that’s not what i look like at all. Not just me I’m sure there’s others…..idk if I’m being overly critical or sensitive but It would just be nice to read about someone who looks like me.

This is not me bashing the current releases either, I think all authors on here are doing absolutely phenomenal. I just wish people thought about the minority perspective sometimes. ONCE AGAIN YOU ARE ALL FANTASTIC AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING WORK!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hiiii anon!! A week late I’m so sorry 😭

Oooo that’s a great question. I think there are some subtle differences between my Agatha’s- more heavily with the au one’s especially. I think conductor!Agatha is the most realistic, in my opinion. She has a lot of that wit and snark and cleverness that I’ve always seen in MCU Agatha. The main difference is she isn’t a serial killer witch, she’s a conductor and pianist. There’s similar childhood trauma from Evanora, and I think her fondness for children comes from that. I enjoy writing her little fits and outbursts but also enjoy those more vulnerable moments. We saw a bit of her vulnerable side in A3, and I personally think it was the perfect amount.

Lawyer!Agatha hasn’t been fully revealed yet. There’s something very very broken there, that reminds me a lot of Agatha’s journey in Agatha All Along (to be fair I did come up with the plot back in January 💀).

Mayor!Agatha is just MCU Agatha running one long con and I personally feel like it’s rather fitting lmao. That woman loves a scheme. And getting her way. And power. A trifecta, really.

Ghost!Agatha is in my brain sort of adjacent to MCU Agatha…. When I do part 2 I’m going to obviously be drifting away a bit but I think her sense of humor is just Agatha, ya know? She’s a funny lady. Scary, but funny (just my type 🫶🏻)

Ahhh hi! Sincerely apologize for the delay, I'm just now working through my inbox but first thank you for this ask, it's genuinely very sweet <3

Sooooo the story I think about most in general and have the most amount of love for is definitely Lark/Chaconne. When I was much younger, maybe 7 or 8, I really desperately wanted to be a professional violinist, haha. Violin lessons and orchestra rehearsals made up the majority of my childhood, and there was a time where I couldn't really picture doing anything else with my life. I think dreams can change, or people can, but that passion and drive within us doesn't go away. Chaconne and now Lark has been a way for me to write about something that I have so much love for, and getting to depict it in a way that involves my favorite character is an added bonus.

I think exploring Agatha as a power hungry, cranky, slightly crazy conductor instead of a power hungry, cranky, slightly crazy witch is very fitting to her character. She is different, of course, than how she appears in the MCU because her life isn't the same, but there are a lot of similarities. Writing that and thinking about how she would react in these different situations is a lot of fun for me. I try not to make her too ooc and I've gotten different feedback on my portrayal of her, but I think she needs to have this more vulnerable and softer side shown because she is human, ya know?

Anyways, a bit of a ramble but these are my thoughts. I hope you're well and thank you so much for the ask!!!
