Are we not gonna talk about how OUR answers affect the tea healing Kris, instead of just the character relationships?

the Tea values are still updating.......

Just realized something.
So, the Zapper turned to stone because he was originally from Catty's house. He didn't belong with the rest.
Ramb also turns to stone, AND Ramb is British.
A British power outlet. Or surge protector, or something of that nature.
Now, we don't know whether Hometown is actually in America, but since Toby's American, I think we all pretty much presume that Hometown is meant to resemble American life. So it would make sense if they have American electrical outlets.
Ramb literally didn't work in this world.
Another point: nobody understood Ramb's jokes.
Everything about Ramb's characterization smacks of a misunderstood Brit stuck in America.

End of Chapter 2: Ok, Berdly's learned a lesson, maybe I don't hate him so much anymore, as long as he has some kind of character arc.
Chapter 4: nvm, he's still an ass.

I would like to think Asgore is actively trying not to antagonize Toriel. But that doesn't match everything else he does.
So I imagine it has something to do with... whatever Asgore's doing that Toriel doesn't approve of.

Since we now know that Queen was a laptop that Kris and Azzy brought home from the library, I wonder if some of her personality was inspired by Ms. Boom.

So, like, if you talk to Alphys first, Susie will suggest Noelle, since she's the smart kid. But if you talk to Noelle first, Susie will say she wishes Ralsei was there to help, and then says this:
She doesn't even suggest Alphys, she's just being snarky.
Shows who Susie really cares about.

So the theory that Tenna has nothing under his clothes would technically be true?
PSA for spamtenna and tenna artists and writers:
CRT TVs don’t have fans inside!
they are so huge bc for the most part their insides are taken up by empty space, which is what cools them. the empty space dissipates the heat :3 the hot air exits via the vents on the sides/top/back
if u wanna draw/write tenna overheating you dont need the *fans whirring*, you can just show steam flowing from his vents, or make his casing hot to the touch :3
or you could also just ignore all this, the world is your oyster

This reminded me of how one of the gifts you can give your vessel is "voice."
I'm thinking of kris repeating berdly's name in shock when you try to tell ralsei that you are going to the festival with berdly of all people. Thinking about the conversations we only get to hear half of, where kris presumably tells ralsei and susie that ralsei and asriel don't look that much alike. Thinking about all the times where kris changes the prompt we give them into something that they'd prefer to say.
Kris talks. They chatter, even, but we as the player don't get to hear it. They don't get a text box. We only ever know that they spoke at all from the reactions of other characters, and even then, we rarely know exactly what was said.
And part of this is that whoever the deltarune narrator is seems intent to pretending like kris doesn't exist. You check the mirror, and it says, "it's only you". Kris plays the piano and it says, "your hands begin moving on their own." If kris speaks without your permission, the narration doesn't acknowledge it at all, committed to the lie that kris doesn't exist beyond their role as our vessel. But that's not what this post is about.
This post is about how it's entirely possible that kris has tried to talk to us when no one else is around. They could have tried to tell us their plan, or begged us not to make certain decisions, or explained that we don't actually need to steal asriel's 5 dollars because they have a piggy bank buried in the front yard. Kris could be asking us questions, or asking us not to look for the bunker password because they have a plan and we should trust them, or asking us to let them sleep a bit longer, and we the soul just carry on the same regardless, their one-sided monologue falling on deaf ears. We would never even know, because of how thoroughly the narrative of deltarune has denied kris a voice.

Noelle seems upset that her mother won't display the little gifts she would make for her.
We could take this to mean that Carol just kept it all at home, like everything else.
But between Noelle's pause and the fact that we never see anything like that, except the doll that Rudy has on his hospital stand, makes me doubt whether Carol cares for such things.

Knowing Kris, it's hard to tell whether she was genuinely bad, or Kris was just trolling. (Maybe a little of both?)

I just noticed that Tenna blushes when he calls her "Tori."
Can you imagine your TV having a crush on you simply because you watched it more than anyone else did?

I want a book where the MMC has cause at some point to be like begging “please don’t hurt her, I love her!” at the bad guys mercy and also at the end the main couple ends up happy. If anyone has suggestions.
#boost#book recs#might check out elisabeth wheatley#i haven't read any of her books yet#but i have them wishlisted because she says she writes stuff that's not too common#but it's also supposed to be spicy dark fantasy so idk if that's your thing

Currently thinking about how Tenna pretty obviously sees himself as part of the Dreemurr family, and with his whole washed-up 70's game-show-host persona he's clearly more of a grown-up than a fellow sibling to Kris, he's got a sort of Fixation on Toriel, using the same pet-name Asgore (and Sans) use for her
But also he clearly likes Asgore a lot. Like him, he'd also love the family to 'get back together' like how they 'used to be'.
And he does seem to see himself, as the family TV, in a sort of caretaker role for Kris.
So I think it is, in fact, perfectly reasonable to label Tenna's role in the Dreemurr family to be basically a "Lesser Dad".

Wait a minute.
Star?
Glass?
Flood?
(not my screencaps, i grabbed them off google)
incredibly useless/unproductive theory: with all the stuff about the sea, the importance of the rain, the Depths and Fountains, and now two different mentions of an ark, do we think there's going to be some kind of Dark Flood coming up
