Sewed the dress yesterday. I did the reroot and hairline paint, and the face was painted by JoshyBearHuggies on IG

It's at that part of the doll reroot where you feel like you just keep adding plugs and it keeps looking exactly the same as it has every other time you sat down to do this

I made this Betty Boop doll for my mom for Christmas!❤️ she’s made from an LOL Surprise OMG Trendsetter.
I repainted her face, removed her default hair, and sculpted and painted this hairstyle. her shoes and earrings are from other LOL OMG dolls and her clothes in this photo are Kia Hart’s!

I finally made a body for this craft doll head/hands/feet set that someone sent to me years ago. (I'm sorry I can't remember who! Thank you though!)
I used fabric left over from a skirt I made recently, and I...glanced at the instructions. The pattern is meant to make a Holly Hobbie rag doll, so I had to improvise to add the vinyl parts. I also attached the arms with button joints, for a tiny bit of posability
(The pattern is for the body but not the head--you're supposed to embroider or paint the face on a stuffed sock for the head. I hadn't realized that when I thrifted it.)
I used the pattern to make the clothes, too, with some improvisation and alterations based on how I normally sew doll clothes. The bloomers pattern piece was missing, but those are easy to cut freehand. The shoes are also made by improvising around the shoes included in the pattern. There won't be any close ups of them.
I was very happy that this pattern was a good size to go with the doll parts! She ended up about 19"/48cm tall

My custom Pinkie Pie doll is done!
Her head's from an electronic seapony toy, on a DC-SHG body I modified to give her cartoonish hooves. I also made her jewelry, dress, and little leg cover thingies.
She turned out really cute and I'm very pleased with her!
