I got so used to writing in English that now I make mistakes on the level of a child in my first language.

English, unless I use he/she/they, doesn't usually indicate the gender of the speaker, while Polish language does that (words have endings that show this).

I feel as if I was ten again. 🤦

I was always curious why people talk so much. Now I know, so that we can write dialogues that are not stiff as a piece of Wood 🪵. I don't really talk to people and now I can't write any form of conversation that would at least seem natural. Any help?

WORST. DAY. EVER! Today just sucks, after three freaking weeks of being ignored by one of my teachers at uni he finally gave me my assignment. I have to pass exams quicker than everyone else as I am moving to another country for a while, exchange program. Today he finally sent me what I am supposed to do with Monday being the date to which I have to sent it. For the next two days I will be on the move since the road is long and on Monday I won't have the time and resources to write that. So since 3.20pm today I have been writing about how science and technology can better humans. 3 and a half pages of how well or not Fukuyama and Bronsted predicted the outcome of using genetic therapy on people with a bit of popcultural references and my own thoughts. And that was me being quick. I finished an hour ago.

I recently realized that going and talking to therapist is a waste of time. The only thing they can do is to help you realize that you need to heal yourself or more accurately, allow yourself to heal.

That was waste of time and money for me. That guy just told me all that I googled before and knew already.

ah no wonder you cant find it lmao. long story short i used to have a blog called coldresolve where i threw a bit of a fit over the way things were going in twc, made said laundry lists ykno. but because i couldnt escape the whump blogs even after blocking the relevant tags and not interacting with them i ended up deactivating and starting fresh here.

i'd tell you to ask around to hear what i said but from what i hear, theres a good proportion of people out there who believe i'm satan reincarnate, so you'd probably end up with some skewed feedback. so ill give you my laundry list but i'd rather this was the last i have to talk about the whump community ykwim

lack of tagging for overt sexual themes. this hasn't improved even with the new community tags, and it makes it hard to traverse the whump community as someone who's ace and somewhat sex averse, and i imagine minors dont have it easy, either.

lack of tagging for infantalization and age regression in adult characters. closest thing i've got to a squick and people don't seem to acknowledge it's even a trend.

poor representation of what trauma does to people (from the community that supposedly specializes in it). that is if the portrayals arent just outright harmful to trauma survivors lol

torture for information being portrayed as "working", which, fun fact, is precicely one of the myths that leads to irl torture.

torture being portrayed as making people obedient/malleable. this trope is widespread in the whump community, and i cant suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy stories where it's a thing - not to mention its kind of a fucked up thing to think about torture survivors?? lol. yeah next to nobody acknowledges this one either

it's the same tropes and stereotypes repeated day in, day out, over and over again. i'm not the kind of person who can read the same thing 1000 times over and still enjoy it. sue me

So there's one thing that's annoying the hell out of me. I scroll through Tumblr and then see people posting their reviews on Avatar the way of water. All good and great but WHY ARE THEY FOCUSING ON SOMETHING THAT'S CLEARLY NOT THE MESSAGE IN THE MOVIE!!!

So what if portrayal of colonialism isn't good enough in Avatar! Nothing, this movie is meant to bring wonder, to show the beauty of the world both in the movie and the real world.

Many aspect of Pandora's biology is easy to observe in our daily life. I love how Eywa's root net is similar to mycelium. How they created the underwater paradise, all this marine life. Also Na'vi diversity, how Metkayina were colored and their bodies adapted to aquatic conditions.

We should be discussing how to save what we have now rather than crying over spilled milk!

Now, to stop all comments like:

"You're a racist, you discriminate people or everything else along these lines."

Colonialism was bad yes but nothing can be changed now. At some point we'll have to let it all go to start again. Holding on to hate and past wrongdoings is not healthy. Instead of pointing fingers at each other let's calm down and say:

"I don't like what was done to me and my people but now as it is in the past, we can work together so our children will have a better future."

Cameron put much work into this movie, to create a realistic yet alien environment takes a lot of knowledge, skill and time. So let's focus on what Cameron was focusing, on the beauty of the world. Because at the end of the day we all live in it, and it's worthy to fight for.

It was a long day. First, they were bathed in water from puddle, freaking car traffic and "Not giving a shit" about pedestrians. Second, they were late for work, and had to stay for overtime. OVERTIME!!! On friday!

They were tired and hungry, only one of those things could be solved immediately.

"Bread, cheese, ham... sandwich." Their counted out monotonously. They couldn't care less about taste, only wanted to fill the emptiness of the stomach. Later they've taken a long and hot shower. Finally some relaxation.

They were shutting lights. Their eyes closing only to shoot open again. While getting up the stairs they heard a loud crash from the kitchen and then swearing.

"Everything okay?!" They shouted.

"Yeah! But thanks for consideration!" Another shout answered. That's good that... And then it hit them. They were living alone so...WHO THE HELL WAS THAT!? Now fully awake, they moved back down towards the mysterious voice.

And there it was the owner, of the voice. It had large, pointy ears and tail. It stared at them with luminescent green eyes and they stared back.

Like today I had the funniest situation ever 😄 I am not transgender I'm a she by mind and body let's say it. The only thing about me is that I look more masculine so, this is a needed background.

I was coming out of the toilet in the shopping mall and just as I opened the door I was met with some other woman. We looked at each other and the she said to her friend:

"I thought it was women's toilet."

She was so confused about it.😆😂🤣 She literally went back to check if she didn't mistake the symbols on the door! I laughed my ass of there! She continued to stare at me, confused about my reaction, till I left.

Misgendering me isn't new but it never before happened like that!🤣

So there is this scene where Quaritch says that they're bringing important prisoners. When he and his squad captured Kiri, Lo'ak, Spider and Tuktirey. What would happen if Neytiri and Jake were too late and didn't save the kids? How would the plot progress from there?

This idea is at the back of my head since I saw the movie.
