Cup O Chips - A serve of chips in a paper cup, sitting on the lush green grass of the parklands opposite my new office. Part of my lunch from the gourmet hotdog food truck which was happily parked on South Terrace today.

Chocolate Mousse -

Yummy creation by my friend Aaron. Chocolate mousse laced with white pepper and raspberry jelly cubes. His best creation to date.

Dusty Ball Joint -  The ball joint on the mini clamp beside my worktable.

Wistful Frisbee -  An old soft plastic frisbee from a decade ago, staring wistfully outside through the glass leadlight panel beside my front door, wishing it could go outside and play. The temperature outside here is absolutely ferocious and it would instantly regret it.

Vitamin D Capsule - A pretty little capsule full of vitamin goodness sitting on a piece of black suede, using my super macro reversed lens.

Space Ball - Studded plastic ball sitting on top of a magnifier lamp, with my pyjama-ed leg under it to give some colour.

Girly Hairbrush - A hairbrush with bristles all around the stem, 360 degrees, pointed at a mostly pink wall of lipstick at the chemist's today while I was waiting for a prescription to be prepared.

Screwed Up - A sheet of newspaper hastily screwed up and plonked on my studio table as an impromptu photo subject for the Photo A Day project "Round" for January 2014.

The Moon and the Stars  -  My unlit magnifying lamp with the lit Christmas stars behind. I usually plump for colour, but there was very little to start with in this shot, and it was mostly dull yellow from the stars. It's fun orchestrating a photoshoot with the things you have, especially when you are late for the assignment!

Silver Beads - Last minute foraging among my bead collection for some "round" subjects for the Photo A Day project before I pop into bed. Thank goodness there are so many round objects in the house.

Cut Glass - Round cross sections of two green beer bottles that I cut the tops off, sitting side by side on my studio table.
