We just can't stop saying hello. NYC Beer Week!

It is SO GOOD TO BE BACK. We know we’re still in this crazy ‘COVID dance’ these days, but the Opening Bash of NYC Beer Week started as a nice hello or two and ended as a true reunion. New York City breweries are killing it in a big way these days, and drinking local in NYC has never been more important. Looking back on 2021. Bite me.

It’s been a tough year for all of us; but thanks to many good folks around the country, it was still memorable. So here’s our FOURTEENTH Year End episode, with great thanks to Gun Hill, Torch & Crown, Rocket Frog, DUBCO, St. James, and at least 70 other breweries who chose to brew the Curtain Up Beer and raise money for good folk who’ve taken it on the chin throughout the COVID19 pandemic.

And DO NOT MISS Gun Hill Brewing’s BARREL AGED BEER FEST coming up on January 15th, 2022! Plenty to look forward to!

The fight isn’t over. Join us in 2022, and let’s keep this ball rolling.

Manhattan's Brewery: Torch and Crown!

Join Mark and Jimmy as they REJOICE: There's a production brewery in Manhattan once again! Torch and Crown is a short subway ride from just about anywhere (okay Staten Island, we hear you) and it's truly fantastic. And they're brewing the Curtain Up Beer to boot!

And speaking of the Curtain Up Beer, Torch and Crown has just released their version, and we’ll be heading there for a super fun Happy Hour on Monday September 29th. 5-8pm, with lots of super deals and fun. Who’s coming? We’ll be there and the cameras will be rolling!

And what a return, as we hang out with our pals at Sloop Brewing in East Fishkill, NY. At Home On The Road: The Alpha MI Brewing Company.

Jimmy returns to his old stomping grounds in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first time in over 35 years... and there's a brewery in Alpha! Deep in the heart of Mastadon Township in Iron County, well down the road from Crystal Falls, the tiny village of Alpha, Michigan, is far and away the smallest village in the entire United States with its own craft brewery.
