God, my cat escaped recently and it took me two days to find him. It was so exhausting and mentally draining, and on top of that I was shamed as a shitty animal owner (which is really not true, my cats have better life than most ppl lol) and I swear I had a mental breakdown with all of those shitty interactions I had this weekend
