I guess Bum is an exception to Sangwoo’s straightness? Or perhaps Sangwoo isn’t truly attracted to anyone, and sex is just something he does to let off steam and subdue/lure in his victims (this seems to be the most likely option)

Honestly, after rereading ks (again), I’m realizing a pattern in Sangwoo’s behavior. He is in constant need of confirmation that Yoonbum will stay with him. Even when he is not upfront about it, his actions ultimately are for the sake of trapping both of them on the same boat. In the cases that Sangwoo feels as if he’s lost bum (once where he thought Bum ran away and the other when he was at the edge of death), that is when he begins to have flashbacks of his mother. He is reliving the traumatic experience when his mother “abandoned” him whenever he thinks that Yoonbum is gone. As proven in chapter 27 once again, Sangwoo is absolutely terrified of abandonment, which could have a connection with his mother reminding him that he’s becoming more like his father, revoking her love. Hopefully the next chapter will show us more because I’m curious to see how he continues to behave, since in chapter 28 he seems to be more patient in hopes that Bum doesn’t start resenting him (too?).
