okay i was somewhat creative so i feel better. i got it out. 😘

My life just doesn’t work without you.

so, main characters, so far for the modern palms is:

carmen tomás - a "fixer" of people's problems. a problem solver. also, has the ability to mimic movements and skills, so she uses that for her job. she also has a bit of added strength and heals a bit faster than most. but she's a bit stubborn.

cash baxter - who people call cash 'bastard'. works with carmen. his ability is he's got telekenetic powers so he can do whatever with them really. unless he gets tired. doesn't heal.

cyla el din - a healer and professor. does research for carmen, but also talks sense into her when she gets hurt. she occasionally does research on living and the dead. she also goes on to like be an integral part of the carman and cash, and then cyla team.

oliver marks - reporter. doesn't know much about what carmen's doing other than the surface level stuff, but is nosy about clue's work. is working with ophelia to learn about clue.

ophelia knight - journalist. is curious about what clue is doing behind closed doors, but doesn't know what she's doing. wants to know what, but hasn't found the missing link. knows about carmen and has written some pieces about her private work and when she's working publicly. but currently her focus is clue.

clue dotson - attorney and villain. currently, working in the business of necromancy. raising the dead and having them work for her. and the ones she sends back, she has them die, again, to prove a point. carmen is unaware of this. but ophelia is picking up on it.
