As we close off 2021, I’ve been asked time and time again about my reflections for the current year which has left me racking my brain for answers. I finally had time today reflect back on my year and can boldly say that I have fluctuated through all five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, sadness, and finally acceptance. Accepting the ME that stares back at the mirror and liking what SHE sees so far. If you’re like me, you can’t wait for better things to come in 2022. A new year to start afresh, pursue new dreams, and more than ever, leave behind the past 12 months for a New Beginning. Change may not come immediately, but reflection can provide a vision of what you greatly desire in life and how to move toward that vision. Been AWOL for the past few weeks due to some personal issues but here’s to the face of Resilience, Rebirth and Restoration. Funny but I got told the other day by an admirer that my body (🙄) was a work of Art and I must admit that I wholeheartedly agreed with him. Vain - NO but I was created by the Master Artist himself and created to perfection in His eyes so YES, I am a work of Art 🎨. I was privileged to attend @sophieteaart Art Show at 10 Carnaby Street, Soho and her ArtWork is simply amazing 🎨👩🏾‍🎨🎨.
