Heya! First off, I wanna say that I really really like your Outsiders posts! They're very well written! Some made me cry. Some made me laugh. Some made me 'awwww'. Anyways, now for the reason behind this ask. if you're still doing prompt requests and haven't done this combination already can you do Dallas and/or Johnny (separately) with with 1, 14, and 24? Make it angsty with a happy ending. Thank you!

Prompts: Thunderstorms, Look me in the eyes, Hold on a second…
~~~
Johnny felt trapped, it was as simple as that. The nearly rotted wooden walls and decaying stone floor had been all he had seen for nearly a week. It didn't matter that the worn in ceiling gave view to the currently dark grey cloud ridden sky. It didn't matter that the broken windows and missing pieces of wood let in the bone chilling, harsh wind into the abandoned church. The walls and floor that surrounded him still felt as entrapping, as suffocating as ever.
He could feel the floor rumble, followed by the sound of the rolling thunder. It crackled through the air harshly, awakening anything it could in it's tracks. The smell of petrichor wafted in strongly and before he knew it, small droplets of rain began to leak through the cracks on the ceiling. They hit his skin, evaporating almost as fast as they fell.
The wind picked up in an energy filled haze, the sky still as dark as ever. But it didn't last long, a bright flash of light illuminated the sky before thunder once again crash down boldly.
Looks like it's gonna be a strong one...
He wondered if it was like this back where you were... back, at home.
He knew what you'd be doing if it was, if he was there with you with too.
You two would be sitting on your porch, not doing anything in particular. Just merely watching the storm unfold, you'd flinch every now in then when the rain blew toward you. You'd be leaning your head against his shoulder, murmuring something random that had happened earlier that day.
He never thought much of those moments at the time. Not because they were boring or unimportant to him in anyway. But because he had grown use to them.
If he knew that he would've ended up here since the last storm you two watched together... he would've soaked in the experience a lot more.
Because in Johnny mind... he'd never be able to do that with you again.
Even if he did come back, he had convinced himself that you'd be livid with him. He left out of nowhere, leaving you in the dust without as much as a goodbye. And the reason why he left would make anyone's stomach twist in shock and fear.
He was sure you hated him at this point...
"Johnny!" Pony suddenly called out, Johnny had hardly felt the light push Pony did to get him out of his own thoughts.
It took him a second to realize that his nails were dug painfully into the palms of his hands. He winced as he opened them again, the small cuts stinging as they got exposed to the cold air.
Johnny already knew the question that he was about to be hit with. But he stopped it in it's tracks before Pony could compose himself long enough to get it out.
"I don't wanna talk about it, okay?"
He was met with nothing but a reluctant nod after that. The rain and almost constant thunder were the only sounds that could be heard after that.
~~~
The next day...
"I said, I don't know where they are!" Dallas repeated for the thousandth time it seemed. His back was turned to you, pretending to be distracted by something in front of him as he spoke.
"And I don't believe you!" You replied strongly, not backing down from Dallas's ever-growing anger.
"It's the truth." Dallas said quickly, trying to seem calm and collected.
"Oh who the hell else would they go to about this?" You questioned with a scoff.
He shrugged his shoulder, not bothering to speak.
"Wait... I do know who they would go to, you!" You exclaimed.
Dallas let out of scoff, finally turning around to face you. "You're wasting your time Y/-"
"Dallas." You interjected heatedly. "I ain't Soda I'm not dropping this until you tell me the truth. So you decide, would you rather hear me talk your ear off all day or are you gonna start telling me the truth?"
Dallas shook his head, looking down at the ground as he did. "I- don't"
"Look me in the eyes and tell me." You interrupted. "And if your as smart as you seem you better not lie to me this time."
His eyes shot back up to you, blazing with a fire of anger. "Listen Y/N-" He stopped, hesitating to speak. "Son of a bitch." He hissed, kicked at a rock at the ground.
"So you are as smart as you seem huh?" You replied, your lips curving into a smile of satisfaction.
"Just get in the car already... smartass"
~~~
"How many hideouts do you have?" You asked as you stared at the old, desolate looking church.
"Lost count a while ago." Dallas replied, you could tell by the tone in his voice that he was proud of that fact.
And sure enough, when you turned your head to face him he was grinning wildly.
"Of course you did." You muttered humorously, eagerly getting out of the car as you spoke.
You couldn't help but wince at the state of the place, it didn't exactly look the most... liveable. You two made your way inside, it didn't look any better than the outside of it. You found them quickly, both of them sleep in the most stable church pews they could find. You quietly walked over to Johnny, not really sure if you wanted to wake him up right away or not.
"Glory…" Dallas muttered in a rough voice behind me. "He looks different with his hair like that." He added with a bit too loud of a laugh.
You looked over at him, giving him a stern look. "Dallas, keep it do-"
You couldn't even finish my sentence before you heard him...
"Y/N?!" He sat up, looking up at you in complete shock.
"Hey..." You replied, sitting down on the freed up space on the pew he was laying in just moments ago. "You've been pretty hard to find you know that right?"
He smiled just slightly before his lips frowned, his eyes down casting the bit of joy you saw before. "Didn't think you'd want to see me after what I did." He admitted darkly.
You didn't know what to say at first, your head turned toward Dallas and a now barely awake Pony. They looked at the both of you, wondering what you were going to say next.
"You and Pony mind if you wait outside for a bit?" I asked hopefully.
Dallas nodded before tugging on the jacket he had given Pony. "Yeah, we'll wait in the car."
"Why would we-"
"I'm takin' you guys out to eat alright? Quit askin' so many damn questions." Dallas muttered, basically dragging Pony out of the church.
"Wouldn't want to see you?" You repeated, giving Johnny an incredulous look. "Johnny, I know you... you wouldn't of done something like that if you didn't have to."
"The fuzz won't see it that way." Johnny replied, staring down at his hands. "They'll just see me as another hood causin' nothing but trouble."
"Maybe they will at first but, there's a trial planned for when you guys get back."
"Oh great-" Johnny said, his face filling with worry.
"No no no, hold on a second." You said quickly. "There was this red-haired girl I talked to... she said you met you at the drive-in that night. She's willing to testify for you guys."
He looked over at you curiously, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he did so. "Wait she's willin' to help us out?"
"Yeah." You replied with a soft smile. "She said she'd tell the judge that they were drunk and looking for a fight. And that you just defending yourself...which you were."
"I-I don't know if I can go back." Johnny admitted reluctantly.
"You have a chance Johnny, a good one at that." You reassured him. "You can't run away forever."
He looked over at you, his eyes swimming in reluctance. "I know." He sighed out. "I know need to... I-I'll... I'll turn myself in."
You gave him a peck on the cheek, wanting to calm his nerves in some way. "Everything's going to work itself out Johnny."
"I sure hope so." He replied, letting out a stuttering breath.
"It will." You said, standing up as you spoke. "Come on, we should probably head out before Dally drives off without us." You added, holding a hand out for him to take.
He took it, standing up on unsteady legs. He still held onto my hand as we began to walk out of the old dingy church.
"Hey, Y/N/N?" He spoke up softly.
"Yeah?"
"I really missed you..."
You looked over at him with a smile, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before muttering...
"I really missed you too..."
Prompt: Look me in the eyes
~~~
Oh jealousy, you can make people so irrational sometimes. You wondered why it made you act so irrational in front of him...
"You're enjoying this too much you know?" You asked, looking back at an amused Dallas as we walked away from the diner.
He just grinned wildly at me, chuckling as he caught up to me. "I don't think I'm enjoying this enough."
"Oh shut up Winston." You muttered, rolling your eyes as you spoke.
"Go ahead and shut me up then." He replied slyly, his eyes darting down to your lips before looking back into your eyes. "Face it Y/N, you're crazy about me..."
You shoved him away playfully, trying to bite back the embarrassed smile that threatened to break though. "You wish."
"I think you're the one wishing here doll." He scoffed.
You sighed, averting your sights away from him. "You're the worst."
"I think that girl you told off back there would say your lying there." Dallas said casually, still beaming in amusement.
You grumbled, trying to find some way to defend yourself. "Look, you can think whatever you want to. But, I was not jealous."
"Who said anything about being jealous?" Dallas said almost instantaneously.
You fell right into that one...
"I know what you were insinuating." You muttered.
"C'mon Y/N/N just admit it... you. were. jealous." He almost relished in the words he spoke.
You didn't dare look over at him, instead opting to look down at the ground, watching yourself walk. "I was not."
Suddenly, Dallas stepped in front of your blocking path.
"Come on Dal, knock it off..." You sighed out.
"I will." He started innocently before his devious grin came back. "Just look me in the eyes and tell me again..."
"Fine." You said, trying to compose yourself. He looked at you expectingly, waiting for you to continue.
"I wasn't..." You stopped, taking in a deep breath.
"Go on." He said slyly.
"Alright, maybe I was... a little jealous." You said quickly before looking away from him again.
"See," Dallas replied before getting out of your way. "Was that so hard to admit?" He added teasingly.
You scoffed before looking over at him.
"When it comes to you, yes... yes it was."

Hey was wondering if I could request #4 with Dallas thanks!! <3
Tumblr media
Prompt: Hypnotizing
~~~
Dally was up, but just barely. His eyes felt so heavy he couldn’t even try to open them. He could feel the vibration of music down below him, signaling that he was still at Bucks like before. He tried going back to sleep, wanting to ignore the pounding music that had woken him up in the first place. But between the loud, incessant voices, constant sounds scrapping chairs, and slamming of glasses it seemed like it take a while for that to happen.
He didn’t bother getting up, it’s not like he was going to be able to stop anything or shut anyone up as much as he wanted to. So, he just... laid there, knowing eventually he’d conk out again. Abruptly, Dally heard a faint click, it was hard to tell if it actually came from his room or from one across the way due to how thin the walls were.
He wanted to move, to open his eyes and see if his assumptions were correct. But, it seemed as though he was stuck in place, like he had suddenly lost any strength he had from before. It didn’t alarm him though, he just stayed there lax but slightly confused too.
“Why wasn’t he freaking out? Why was he so... relaxed? Better yet, why wasn’t he trying to move again?” He thought to himself.
Suddenly, a feeling of familiarity yet dizziness hit him. A faint aroma filled his mind, his conscious, seemingly hypnotizing him. He knew it from somewhere, it felt like something he couldn’t forget. But at the same time, couldn’t remember where it came from. His mind began to wonder, trying to pinpoint what was the source of his sudden bout of familiarity.
Then it hit him... was that your perfume?
It couldn’t have been... he felt like he was beginning to lose it slightly. Maybe it was from the fact that it was the middle of the night, and it felt like he hadn’t gotten an ounce of sleep. Yeah... that had to have been it, he was just tir-
“Dal...”
That made him open his eyes, and pretty quickly too. He sat up so fast it made his head spin for a second.
There you were, standing above him with a lively glint in your intoxicating eyes. You acted so casually, like this was something you had done normally.
But he knew you couldn’t stand Buck’s, the smoke filled bar with rowdy people was never really your favorite place to be. But now you didn’t seemed fazed by it in the slightest.
He was beginning to think he had hit his head... maybe that would explain the sudden dizziness he felt.
“Is ol’ Dallas Winston speechless? Never thought I’d see that day.” You teased, sitting down at the edge of one of Buck’s old beds.
He tried to think of something to say, but his mind ran blank for a second. Faltering his usually cocky demeanor when it came to you.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, it wasn’t exactly what he wanted to say in reply, but it was better than sitting there like an idiot in his mind.
“Do I need a reason to?” You said slyly, brushing back some of his thick hair.
He could feel a spark light through his veins and it was just at the simplest touch. He shook of the feeling, clearing his throat before replying to you.
“Don’t give me that doll, I know you hate it here.”
“But I don’t hate seeing you.” You replied, smirking slightly. “You’ve been on my mind lately...”
He leaned off the headboard of the bed and toward you, now smirking himself.
“What’re you tryin’ to pull Y/N?” He asked, cocking an eyebrow in suspicion.
Now don’t get him wrong, he wasn’t complaining with how you were acting. But you were never this... sly with him before. Usually it was the other way around with him talking and you being a bit skeptical of him.
“Nothing.” You replied innocently. “I’m just being friendly...” You added, slowing leaning closer to him... to his lips
Dally couldn’t help but dart his eyes down to your lips for a split second. His pulse quickened as he copied your movements, trying to cool down his newfound nerves he felt.
“I think you’re bein’ a little more than friendly...”
You simply shrugged your shoulders, looking into his eyes with that same lively glint from before. “You mind if I am?”
All he could do at first was shake his head at first, his mind grew hazy again. He felt like he was under some spell, or maybe he was beginning to feel really delirious now.
“No.” He finally managed to muttered.
He could feel his breath hitch for a second, taking him aback at how... nervous he seemed all of the sudden.
You were so close, lips nearly ghosting against one another.
When suddenly, a bang filled the room.
“Dallas, quit mumbling in your sleep and get up!” A new voice called out.
Dally jerked his head, shooting it toward the door. He felt his head spin, his eyes burning at the sudden intrusion of light. The music was gone, it was dead silent downstairs now.
And you were gone... any trace of you seemed wiped away.
“Buck... wh-what-”
“Get up and get yourself together, Johnny’s waitin’ for you outside.” He simply said before walking off, not wasting anymore time on the disorientated Dallas.
With a sigh he sat up, rubbing his eyes in hopes of waking himself of more. A slight bitterness filled him as he came to the realization at what happened.
What a dream...
Hi!! If you wouldn’t mind I’d like to request prompt 16 with Darry. Thanks! <3
Tumblr media
Prompt: Late night babbles
~~~
It was dead silent, something that was completely unusual for a house like this. It hadn’t been more than half an hour before the gang was conked out. The adrenaline rush they had gotten from the rumble completely wore them out. Johnny and Two-bit were so out of it they couldn’t even make it off the floor before they fell asleep.
You were still up, the nerves and worry you felt from before kept you wide awake much to your dismay. It happened every time a rumble took place. though you felt like you should’ve been use to them by now, you felt just as you did the first time you waited for everyone to come back from one.
It’d be a feeling you’d feel you’d never fully be able to shake off...
“Look at em all.” Darry muttered, carefully stepping over Johnny to sit next to me on the couch. “Can’t believe they passed out like that.”
“I can, surprised you aren’t falling asleep yet.” You said. “You look like you got pretty roughed up.” You added, carefully gliding your thumb across a nasty looking bruise on his cheekbone.
“Aw I’m fine.” He reassured you, grabbing a hold of your hand gently. “I am surprised that I got bit though.” He said, looking down at the back of his hand.
“I mean, if someone who looks like you tried to fight me I’d probably bite them too.” You replied humorously making Darry laugh, you could only smile slightly at his response.
Darry could tell you seemed to be a bit less... enthusiastic like you usually are. Not to mention, every smile or laugh you’d let out after everyone had gotten back seemed pretty forced.
“You alright over there?” He asked softly.
I nodded. “I’m okay I just feel kinda on edge still.”
“You don’t gotta worry anymore... we’re all fine.”
You that what he was saying was true. Sure, some of them had little injuries here and there. But they were here, safe... You thought you shouldn’t feel so worked up still, but you did.
“I can’t help but worry when it comes to you guys.” You replied. “And I know you’re like double everyone else’s size there but you could still... well, you know.”
You felt Darry drape an arm around you before pulling you close to him. He gave you a quick kiss on the head in hopes of comforting you. “I know... thank you for caring about me so much.” He said appreciatively.
You leaned back, wanting to get a good look at his face. “How can I not? I love you too much not to.”
He gave you a smile, fondness filled his icy blue eyes as he looked down at you. “Love you too.” He muttered sweetly before giving you a quick kiss.
You cupped his face as you pulled away, grazing one of your thumbs against another bruise and cut on his jaw. “Look at what they did to your handsome face.” You said, biting back a smile as you felt his cheeks heat up bashfully.
“Y/N...” He replied feebly, averting his gaze from your eyes temporarily.
“What? It’s true... you are.” You teased, chuckling slightly as he began to smirk. “You are absolutely handsome.”
“Oh just hush up and kiss me again.” He mumbled making you laugh again.
“I gladly will...”

Hiya! I was wondering if you could do prompts 23, 14, and 12 with Dally? <3
Tumblr media
Prompts: This isn’t you, look me in the eyes, Why can’t I explain this to you?
~~~
Knock... knock... knock... bang!
You jumped at the sudden sound that hit harshly against the front door. Frozen in your place, you watched the door wearily, pondering who could be there. You waited, hoping that the person outside would just give up and go away. From the sounds of their knocking, you came to the conclusion that they were pretty heated about something.
There was a moment of silence, it carried on for a bit making you think that the stranger went away.
But then you heard it again.
bang... bang, bang!
It didn’t seem like they were going to leave.
Your mind began to race, your thoughts were clouded with worry and assumptions about who was on the other side of the door. But your thoughts came to a halt at the sound of a voice.
“Come on Y/N/N... let me in.”
Of course it was Dallas...
You felt a mix of emotions at the sound of his voice. Part of you was excited to see him again since it felt like he hadn’t been around for weeks. But the other part of you was pissed, still annoyed by how things played out the last time you saw him.
You kept a blank look on your face as you opened the door but your stomach twisted at the sight of him. There he stood, blood slowly trailing down his face from a cut he had gotten. He didn’t have any other injuries on his face. But from the looks of his hunched posture, the cut on his face was just the first of many other injuries.
“Get in here.” You said coldly, moving back to give him room to come in.
He winced slightly at the sound of your voice but you honestly didn’t know if it was because of you or the injuries he had.
“Sit down.” You muttered, walking away toward the bathroom before you could even get a reply from him.
The second you shut the door you leaned against it, letting your cold facade fall. Your hands began to tremble and you feel your breath quiver. It felt like every time you saw one of your closest friends anymore he always had blood and bruises on him. You knew he probably would never fully stop getting into trouble, it would be a hard habit for him to break. But that fact didn’t mean that it didn’t stress and worry you at all. Or that you wouldn’t try to convince him to cool it and stop getting into fights over minuscule reasons.
But Dallas didn’t take your worries the way you would’ve hoped.
He blew up on you the last time you brought up your concerns which took you by surprise. You knew that it would annoy him sure, but as much as he ended up being...
After you had figured you had calmed down enough, you grabbed the first aid kit and a washcloth before leaving the cold room. Dallas turned around at the sound of the door, looking at you as with a bit of curiosity.
“Well, at least you listened to one thing I suggested you do.” You couldn’t bite back the petty quip you let out if you tried. The anger pushed itself to the fore-front of your mind.
“Still pissed huh?” Dallas asked.
You didn’t bother replying to him as you walked and sat down next to him. You placed the first aid kit down and gently put the damp washcloth up to his cut.
“How do you think I feel?” You replied, forcing yourself to talk as calmly as possible.
He just looked over at you, not really knowing what to say. He knew that he might’ve... gotten a bit angrier than he really should have.
But he wasn’t going to admit that to you of course.
So, he sighed moving his sights away from you to avoid the heated glare he assumed you were giving him now. “Look, I don’t see what the big deal is here.”
“Oh no, seeing my friend bruised and bloodied up every week isn’t a big deal at all.” You interjected sarcastically. “I’m sure if I ever showed up looking like you do right now, you wouldn’t freak out at all.” You added dryly still being careful to not irritate his cut too much.
“I’ve always gotten-”
“Dallas, for as long as I have known you, you have never been as bad with fights as you have been lately.” You interrupted, the tension returning in your voice. “This isn’t you...”
He still wouldn’t look at you pride and slight embarrassment got in the way of him doing so. Not to mention whenever you used his full name he knew you were really ticked off at him.
“Yes it-” He muttered.
“Look me in the eyes, Dallas... I know you always look away whenever you try lie to me.”
He reluctantly looked back over at you, the frustration clearly evident on your face.
“I’ll be fine.” He answered simply.
“You know what? Maybe I was being stupid to think that you for once... could understand where I’m coming from.” You started, getting back up from the couch to toss the washcloth in the hamper.
“It’s not like you’ll ever feel the same way I do...” You muttered once you reached the hamper, figuring that he was out of earshot.
“What?” You felt your blood run cold, hoping that he didn’t actually hear what you said and instead heard a low murmur
“Nothing.” You replied, surprising yourself at how calm you sounded still.
You sat back down, getting out an abundance of bandages and a bottle of peroxide. “Take off your jacket.” You said, your tone now monotone and cool like before.
He didn’t move, hesitation began to become evident in his eyes. “Y/N...”
“Just... listen to me please.”
The second you saw him wince as he shrugged his jacket off, you knew his injuries were more than a few bruises. A large spot of blood stained his shirt and from the looks of it, it was still bleeding.
“Oh yeah Dal, you’re completely fine!” You couldn’t help yourself, any composure you might’ve had before had disintegrated.
“I didn’t want you to see this.”
You looked at him incredulously, if he thought that saying that might alleviate your worries, you were starting to think he might have a concussion too.
“Didn’t want me to see that?” I repeated with a scoff. “What the hell were you going to do slowly bleed out on the couch?”
“It’s not even that deep.” He defended himself.
“Then you would’ve had no problem show me it before.” You replied, lifted up his shirt so you could start cleaning the cut. “Using a blade in a fight... you know damn well that’ll cause you nothing but trouble in the long run.”
Dallas scoffed quietly, I could tell he was starting to get angry again.
“You can get as pissed off with me as you want to but it not going to stop me from caring about you.” You tried to keep your voice strong but it evidently broke at the end of your sentence.
He didn’t know what to say. Between you and the intense stinging sensation that radiated near his ribs, he found it hard to think straight.
“I’m really not getting on you about this to annoy the fire out of you, I swear I’m not. Y-you’re just getting hurt so much anymore and your injuries are getting worse every time.” You rambled, your voice trembling slightly.
“I-I mean, god I don’t know what I’d do if I got told you got killed... if I never got the chance to tell you-” You halted your sentence in it’s tracks, even if you wanted to tell him about the strong feelings you had for him. Something in your mind just wouldn’t let you.
“Tell me what?” Dallas spoke up, giving you a curious look.
You just continued to clean his cut with still trembling hands.
“Tell me what?” He repeated, his tone growing stronger.
You stopped, tossing the crimson stain cotton balls on the table.
“I just... really, care about you alright? And I-I think I might...” You sighed out in frustration, still struggling to admit such a big weight on your shoulders. “Why can’t I explain this to you?”
“Y/N... what’s goin’ on?” You looked over at him, expecting to see his usual cold face. But, you were surprised to see a look of... concern? Worry? It was hard to tell if you were being honest.
“I think I’m in love with you...”
Prompt 25 with Johnny Cade?
Tumblr media
Prompt 25: Memories
~~~
It was a pretty warm night, the wind blew softly not causing much of a disturbance. Johnny had stepped out of the Curtis's house for a moment with a cancer stick clinched in his hand. He watched as the smoke he blew out blinded into the air, only faintly being seen due to the moonlight.
He could hear everyone talking inside still. Most of the gangs voices coming out as nothing more than a murmur. But out of everyone, yours stood out the most. You were laughing, most likely at something Two had said.
"Oh knock it off Two." You said, your voice growing louder the closer you got to the door.
Johnny turned his head as soon as he heard the door creak. You were careful not to slam it behind you.
"Mind if I sit with you?" You asked.
"I never mind when it comes to you." Johnny replied, stomping out his cancer stick.
You couldn't help but smile at his cheesiness, chuckling in reply. You down next to him, lightly resting your head on his shoulder. The pair of you sat in a comfortable silence, just enjoying the atmosphere around you. You could feel his eyes on you making you take your sights off the sky toward him.
"What?" You asked softly, your lips still curved with a soft smile.
He felt he had saw that same smile a hundred times before... but he every time he saw it, he felt exactly how he felt the first time he saw it.
"Just thinkin'." Johnny muttered.
"About what?"
"The first time we met..."
~~~
Johnny was just glad to finally get a break from all the moving around he had done. Dallas had dragged him and Pony all over town, not really planning on going to a particular place. But eventually, they stopped by the Dingo.
But waiting around for time to pass by got boring, even if it did give him a moment to just sit still. So, with an abundance of straws in hand, he and Pony began to blow wrapper and wrapper around the rundown restaurant.
He found a bit of amusement doing so, even if the waiter's and waitresses were getting more annoyed by the minute. But he didn't really pay too much mind to it, the worse they could do was throw them out.
But then, he heard a very familiar voice speak up suddenly.
"What the..." You rose up from the booth you were sitting in, which happened to be right next to his.
The second you sat up you saw him, a straw hanging lazily from his lips as he stared at you in shock. You found the sight of him to be pretty comical if you were being completely honest. You didn't really know what to say to him however so, you just gave him a small smile before turning your attention back to your shake.
Johnny on the other hand, didn't find any humor in the situation in the slightest. He had seen you around for a while and tried to talk to you a handful of times. But, something just always seemed to get in the way of each and every one of his attempts. Out of all the ways he wanted to finally meet you, this was definitely not one he would've picked.
He could see Dallas looking at him out of the corner of his eye. He looked completely confused, not realizing why Johnny was in such shock all of the sudden.
"The heck's wrong with you?" He asked bluntly.
Johnny could feel his face heat up, struggling to find the right words to say.
"They're the person I was talkin' about before." He muttered, hoping you wouldn't hear.
"Oh..." Dallas said, looking over at you before turning back to Johnny. "Go talk to them then man." He urged.
"I can't now." Johnny said incredulously.
"It's just paper Johnny, it's not like you threw food at 'em." Pony reassured him.
Suddenly, another white wrapper came into Johnny view, hitting him right on the chest. He looked up to see you smiling at him mockingly before tossing the unused straw back onto the table.
"I have to agree with your friend there it is just paper." You said calmly. "I think we have the same History class, you're Johnny right?"
Johnny just nodded in reply, feeling relief that you were even annoyed with him.
"I'm Y/N..."
Before Johnny had the chance to reply to you. One of the disgruntled waitresses from before came by, groaning in annoyance at the sight of the white wrapper on the floor.
"That's it, you boys are outta here. I'm tired of cleaning up after you three!" She said sternly, giving the three boys an angry stare.
"We didn't even-" Dallas started, but the waitress was having none of his excuses.
"Oh don't even try to pull that innocent stunt on me! You three are the only ones who were doing that. Get out, now." The waitress ordered before storming off to the front counter.
With much reluctance, Johnny got up from the booth. Just when he had gotten the chance to finally talk to you, another obstacle was getting into his way.
"Uh." You suddenly spoke up, making Johnny halt in his movements. "Sorry I got you booted but... I'll see you around sometime?"
Johnny nodded, giving you a small smile. "Yeah sure."
"You are going to get out or-"
"Alright, we're goin' already!" Dallas interjected loudly before pretty much dragging Johnny out the door.
You leaned back into the booth as you watched them leave, scoffing humorously at the interaction you had with him.
"Well, that's one way to meet someone..."
~~~
"It was a great first impression." You said genuinely.
Johnny shook his head, now smiling himself. "I'd say it was more memorable than great."
"Memorable's great too." You replied reassuringly. "Made sure I wouldn't forget about you." You added, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Johnny looked back down at you, his heart racing as he did. No matter how long he had been together with you, his heart still had a mind of it's own...
"I'm real glad you didn't forget..."
~~~
