So beautifully explained!
Ok but I want to talk about Tokoyami’s speech because it flew over some people’s heads.
The point tokoyami is trying to make is that “darkness” is different for everyone (“it comes in many shades”). For him it is safety, security, connection, and love. Because darkness to him has always been associated with dark shadow and dark shadow makes him feel that way.
While all for one (and most people) think of darkness as fear, confusion, destruction, and chaos. He uses darkness to for its worst, he is the boogie man and monster under your bed.
But for tokoyami the darkness reminds him he will never truly be alone and offers comfort. When tokoyami has flashbacks to him and dark shadow as children and to his classmates he is thinking about the people he loves and wants to protect. He is showing that darkness is very powerful but he wants to use that power to save.
When they said they had “devoured his darkness” it meant they had erased the negativity tied to the dark (“that muddied darkness you brought about”). They changed the meaning of darkness to be something that protects. THIS why they want to be a hero. When people think of darkness they will think of tsukuyomi and how they will keep you safe.
Even his new move is called light of baldur. It is a reference to his “light” destroying AFOs darkness. Maybe dark shadow having golden eyes ties into that. Because even though they are made of darkness there is still a part of them that glows brightly.

elrond through the ages based on one glorious panel from chapter 95 of Black Butler (hopefully i got that right....). in the context of this sequence, i always thought it was sad to think abt how many people elrond has lost throughout his life alongside how remarkable he is to remain "as kind as summer" still by the time the hobbit rolls around 🥺
i redrew elrond's poses based on ciel's in the original panels BUT i forgot what page exactly the original panel sequence is... however!! if you scroll down to the middle half of this blog post you can find the original reference pic :D warning that it includes heavy spoilers for the black butler manga so u could just alternatively google 'ciel phantomhive running' and it'd probably be one of the first results that pop up haha

Hi wizard! How are you doing? Hope everything is well. There's a panel in chapter 381 in which Hawks says this about Tokoyami: "If I was able to connect to you even a little bit... then I'm glad I was born with these filthy wings." I've been wondering about it since I first read it. What does he mean? Do you think this is proof that Twice wasn't Hawks' first murder? And he dealt with some villains like Lady Nagant? Or is he just referring to his infiltration mession when he had to dirty his hands?
There are a few interpretations of that line. The first is Hawks' resentment over his criminal parents, especially his father, seeing the Quirk he got as "filthy". Hawks' criminal heritage was something he despised after all. It's these same wings that got him noticed by the Hero Commission and put him on the path where he is now so they could be tainted for him in that way as well. However, it's more likely referring to Hawks's actions, especially with Twice. I don't necessarily think it's evidence that Hawks killed people besides Twice. A lot of the Hero Commission post Lady Nagnat, or at least Hawks, seem a lot less "murder first" when it comes to those solutions. Though there is some implication earlier with Lady Nagnat suspecting that Hawks did other terrible things. However, the sentiment is the same regardless. That Hawks doesn't regret his life if it meant it got to help out someone like Tokoyami and calling back to Tokoyami's own words when he saved him from Dabi.
