This is an issue I've been noticing for years. Disney seems to be prioritizing humor and it often hurts what should be powerful, dramatic, and subtle moments in their movies because they throw in pointless humor in scenes where it isn't needed. Plus, I might be trying to appeal to the algorithm and since criticizing Disney is the big thing now, I thought I would talk about this issue I personally have with the company's most recent era. Like everyone else, I'm freaking sick and tired of Disney's adorkable problem with it's modern heroines and them being allergic to exploring different personality types in the revival era. So instead of explaining why the problem is bad, I tried to fix it by giving these characters more individual personalities that would still work in their respective stories. Holy shit Uncle Iroh takes no prisoners when it comes to being an ally

... you know, this is a MASSIVELY messed up moment if you think about it.

Megara is dead, right, and that's her soul that Herc is carrying. The real life translation of that would be Herc carrying her corpse, right? And Hades here is "puppeting" Megara's DEAD BODY in some feeble attempt at convincing Herc to put in a good word with Zeus for him.

Which was the DUMBEST thing cause Herc was straight up just going to walk away. He gave Hades one punch in the face cause he kept talking shit, but he had every intention of just leaving with Megara cause that's what he came here for. But then Hades disrespects Megara's DEAD BODY in a really macabre way and that's when Herc punches Hades into the... pool of the dead, or whatever it's even called.

I didn't really think about this too much as a kid, but DAMN... this is legit Hades puppeteering Meg's dead body in front of the man who loves her. That is ALL kinds of messed up, Disney! xD
