Been out in Los Angeles going on a month now. Most time has been spent getting acclimated. Still on the housing hunt but we going get this mission of successes together. Out here with one of my best homies @malikacf pushing forward through trials and uncertainty, I’m back on set again. It’s a funeral scene for a pilot dealing with early Los Angeles gang life. Nice long 12hr work day.

- My Boi Tony and I spent a week and some change in this spot in Cali and met some great folk. Ive witnessed live jam session & missing drunk roommates. It’s amazing how quickly people can warm up to each other in a home setting. Anyway this is the 1st of many locations to rest my head so here’s to the beginning of the housing chronicles.

Kal-El at Liberty Tax

I be thinking so many train of thought when I'm dancing out there in my Liberty Tax costume. After I get my knetic energy going to certain extent I can place my body on a rhythmic autopilot I am conscious of and purposeful in all my moments but I'm not willing any movement. This often happens when I trail off into deep thought about what ever. Typically I only stop dancing to drink something. Honestly I don't like to stop for that. But I found that I don't get charlie horse in my thigh and/or calf , o and one find day in the arch of my foot, when I drink water. When I get dehydrated my legs are the first to let me know. Four hours of constant moment is a long time, I normally blaze out till 4:15 take my fifteen minutes break, come back with thirty minutes till 5pm . Rocking off a growing Playlist of song by artist I like, and mix tapes by various local DJs. Always adding something new. Taking out some old. The cars standing in their posture at the light. Few counts into what ever random song shuffle produces I'm moving. Many pass this way every day at this time. I often wonder if they wondering what music if any I could possibly be listening to. Cause only I can hear it. Nobody knows the trigger. They just know I did it bigger. They blowing horns, dancing in their seat, zoning out at the light now cars blowing at them. After my daily argument with myself over what I am and ain't going do out there. The side of me that reminds me " I'm already on a corner, in a statue of liberty costume go ahead and get interesting , use your space, play a little " wins. And I'm in the boogie hard. They can't tell but you know. Don't miss a count. My only real care is will this be the day I dance the sole of my shoe to death. Hmmm I like these shoes, oh well die a beautiful death. Then I wake up from autopilot, but I'm still on cruise. It's like half way in a dream. You don't know when you will wake up. But for now I'm connected like wifi. Step flex glide. Sometimes I can feel my cape in the wind. And sometimes I think the people can see it too.
