Radioprotection permites the protection of humans and their environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.

There are differents radiations and particles :

- Alpha radiation (α)  

- Bêta radiation (β)

- Neutronic radiation (η)

- Gamma radiation (γ)

There are different measuring devices for the contamination and the radiations.

My apprenticeship take place in the nuclear power plant of Chooz in Ardennes. I’m a futur Radioprotection engineer.
