I feel like there's a lot of potential in exploring different legendary Pokemon as the main antagonists, or antagonistic forces, of stories.
I've been rereading a couple older Pokemon and Pokemon Nuzlocke comics, and there's a couple where the main antagonist is a legendary Pokemon that one might not expect, and it's got me thinking about all the different legendary and mythical Pokemon that get over looked for that position, and how different ones might fill that role.
Because, from a world building standpoint, most legendary/mythical Pokemon are incredibly powerful beings, wielding skills and abilities far surpassing that of normal Pokemon, with a significant number of them capable of massive amounts of destruction. Many of these Pokemon are capable of communicating with people, and with the right prodding I could see quite a few turning into formidable enemies.
Celebi, Victini, Latias and Latios, The Swords of Justice and Keldeo, The Legendary Birds, The Legendary Beasts. Whether mindless destruction, the natural consequences of their existence or more targeted wrongdoing, I'd love to see more ideas where these Pokemon are the 'bad guys'.

You blinked a couple times at the man before you pretending to be your father. You could feel your vision blurring somewhat as you focused in. The more you focused, the more you could hear what sounded like buzzing in your ears. The manâs form began to fizzle into something else, something yellow and gold and red, and oh so bright but not in the way the sun was bright. Bright in the way electrical magic looked as it shot through the air, what it would look like if you could freeze the arcs of lightning and examine the edges of them close up. Various Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Ideas
'Hero' who was summoned by accident. The true hero and their partner are already off doing the world saving and 'hero' just has to get used to living here or find their own way back to their world, since their summoning was a fluke. (Or was it?)
Hero who doesn't want to be an explorer, but instead wants to run a successful business in the PMD world.
Hero who is actually just a rebirthed fragment of Arceus. Attracts Unown.
Hero who was summoned, not by a legendary, but by some other Pokemon to help them out and/or do their bidding. Kind of like a demonic pact, except the demon is a human being and looks like a Gible or something.
Hero who doesn't want to live in town, but instead wants to live out in the wilds.
Hero who is adopted by an 'evil' team.
Hero who is blackmailed into joining an 'evil' team.
Hero who used to be in a team with the main villain.
Three Pokemon, previously a trio of legendary Pokemon are resurrected as normal Pokemon and have to deal with that.
Hero is a legendary, and has to deal with what that means.
I know the Arceus one and the last two are kind of all the same thing, but I was thinking of, like, the SHEER POWER of Arceus being contained in the form of a Growlithe (for some reason, the character that would be here struck me as a Growlithe). In Legends, Arceus starts messing with space time just by being in it's direct vicinity and it tells you itself the version you've seen is simply a fragment of it's true form. Now, what if you took all that and unironically stuck it in a Bidoof?
And for the trio (or duo!) of legendaries being resurrected, what would have to happen for a set of legendary Pokemon to be resurrected? What would they turn into? How would they live life as normal Pokemon, especially if they remembered that they used to be legendary Pokemon?
And the last one was more meant to be a 'human is turned into a legendary Pokemon' specifically. Being a Pokemon already comes with the boon of a power far greater than a human. Imagine being granted the power of a god among gods. Does this new form come with responsibilities? How are they treated by other Pokemon? By other legendaries?
All sorts of interesting little questions for each one.

Mmm. So I've been watching a silent playthrough of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Sky while I work recently and it churned up an AU idea that I can't get out of my head. I'm sure it's been done before but the potential for a story will not leave me alone.
So, the human from PMD Sky, the one from the future, who jumps back in time w/ their partner Grovyle, gets batted around in that time storm and separated, right? Same old, same old.
HOWEVER.
Instead of getting transformed into a Pokemon and going on their adventure in the Mystery Dungeon world, Arceus (the old goof) senses an opportunity and plucks the human from their current place outside time and space claw machine style, and throws them head first into Hisui, right smack dab into the events of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Why pick a random qualified human from the real world when a different one has basically offered themselves up to the task?
Hero, who is still somewhat memory-less (and also, Arc Phone-less since I'm sure phones are rather hard to come by in Primal Dialgas apocalyptic time period), is now forced to play the confused and unknowing savior of Hisui at the behest of some mysterious unknown force, battling it out with crazed nobles and weaving their way through the ranks of Team Galaxy.
I like the idea that Hero IS qualified for it. They more than have the survival skills necessary to brave the Hisuian wilds, learned from a lifetime of navigating the harsh world of a post apocalypse, constantly on the run. Do you think they find it weird that Pokemon can't talk? What do they think of other people, other humans? They can't remember anything, but I'm sure they get feelings.
Imagine the uses the Dimensional Scream would give them. What does it feel like when the peak of Mt. Cornet opens and shrouds the entire sky in an undending red? Imagine their witnessing of a crazed Origin Form Dialga, the primal, unexplained fear that would well up within them upon witnessing the extreme power of the entity who threw their entire world into paralysis. Do you think being a part of Team Galaxy, of helping people in Hisui, of working towards a greater goal to help people would feel familiar? They may not remember working with the Planetary Exploration Team, but do you think when they talk to Adaman and Irida or Rei or Akari they get this warm, familiar feeling? That they're reminded of someone, but they can't quite remember who?
Do you think saving a different world, when so much of their life has been about saving their own, has any effect on them?
Who knows? But, finally, when it's all over, when all of Arceus' herculean tasks have been completed. and Origin Dialga has been calmed. The plates collected, Volo defeated and Giratina soothed at last. When the Pokedex is finally done, everything is back to relative peace and normalcy, and Hero ascends above the peak of Mt. Coronet, Arceus returns their memories and grants Hero's wish. It sends Hero back.
(Do you think, upon encountering Arceus and regaining their memories, they would beg the deity to save their own world?)
It sends Hero back to exactly the same moment it took them from. Amidst a roiling time storm, spiraling between fractals of whens and wheres with no idea where they'll come back.
For the second time in their life Hero, who is now a Pokemon, awakens on a beach confused and alarmed by an overwhelming sense of familiarity that they just. can't. place. Alongside this terrible sense that something is deeply, deeply wrong, that something incredibly important is missing. Like this exact thing has happened before. But they can't remember when. In fact, they can't remember anything!
Because wouldn't you know it!? Their memories are gone. Again.
Cue Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky!
There are so many similarities between PMD:S and Legends Arceus. Waking up with no memories on a beach outside an unfamiliar town by a stranger who recognizes your skills and asks you to join their team? Joining a community, tasked with exploring, learning and helping others who need it? Meeting different interesting folks and Pokemon across the world and befriending them? Time travel shenanigans? Meeting a helpful stranger who ends up betraying you and you find out they were, in fact, just the pawn of a much more powerful entity who was the true cause of the current state of the world? Like, besides Darkrai and Arceus in Sky and Legends respectively, even the legendary Pokemon that are focused on are the same too. < and I'm aware that's because PMD:S was a gen 4 game and Legends Arceus takes place in ancient Sinnoh, but like, still.
Do you think the Hero sees themselves in Grovyle at all? Someone in an unfortunate situation being accused of and punished for something they didn't do, and despite all that still striving to help? Do you think they're surprised by Dusknoir's betrayal? When the truth comes out on those stockades, do you think Hero takes it in stride? Do you think that Hero sees Rei and Akari in their partner? That nervousness slowly diminishing over time as the two work together? That need to be dependable?
Lots to think about.
Anyway, all this is because I like the idea that a Hero who put up with Kamado's shit would absolutely NOT put up with Chatots.
#Hero has a great respect for Captain Cyllene and Wigglytuff is a breath of fresh air compared to Kamados constant disapproval and distrust#THERE'S NO WAY absolutely no respect for Chatot in this house /hj#Also you could play with it a bit#What if Hero doesn't lose their memories?#Either upon entering Hisui or coming back or both: maybe they remember everything! How would that change things?#writing idea#pokemon#pokemon mystery dungeon#pokemon legends arceus

Various SelfAware GenshinAU Ideas
Kind of an Imposter!AU, but instead of someone else taking the role, the true Creator gives you the role because they didn't want it.
Imposter!AU where Teyvat itself wishes to enact vengeance on those who have hurt you and falsely made you out to be a monster. To make those who have made you, the lands most beloved God, suffer suffer in turn. You are the only thing holding back the fury of the world itself.
The Creator is reborn/isekaied into the Genshin world, but there's a smaaaaall hiccup in the system and you wake up as what essentially amounts to a level 0 commoner with no skills at all, beyond what you were already bringing to the table. You have powers, sure! You just... can't quite figure out how to get them to work? You also can't understand anyone? It's a bit of a mess.
Villian/Imposter!AU where the true God is chased all over and eventually taken in by the Abyss Order.
The Creator is reborn/isekaied into the Genshin world but there's a different smaaaaaall hiccup in the system and you... don't have a body? The vessel creation/transfer went haywire and now you don't have a set form. Instead you can only change into other creatures, or people.
For whatever reason, when God wakes up no one recognizes them. Instead of taking on their role as 'The Creator' or whatever, they decide to plant crops instead, a la Harvest Moon style.
Imposter!AU/ Villian!God summons forth chained Gods and imbues them with their power to help teach them about the world, and wreak havoc and vengence. Osial, Beisht, and Azhdaha in a team of four with the Villian!God.
Imposter!AU God who, instead of being outright killed once they've been apprehended, is mutilated beyond recognition for being an imposter and 'wearing the face of god'
The Creator and "God" are two different entities
I really like the idea of taking common SAGAU tropes and concepts and turning them on their head.
Special blood that sprouts flowers, or Ley Line blood. The cost of being an all knowing entity is your eyes. Taking common powers and giving them a cost. 180-ing on what's 'normal', it's funnnn! >:D

Pokemon X Genshin Impact: Elements
(I originally posted this on a different account, but I'm doing some blog clean up and I'd like my writing stuff here, so I've rewritten the entire post here. It was originally posted on May 28th, 2022, so if some of the things in the post seem a little dated or strange, that would be why. 2.7 hadn't released yet in Genshin and Scarlet and Violet hadn't either. I intend to delve back into this idea some more, because I've fallen back into the hole that is Genshin.)
Yee haw, time for some more Pokemon X Genshin because I want toooo. Iâve slowly been building some more stuff and I now also have the added bonus of actually having played Legends (three times, Ilikethegamedonâtjudgeme) which is something I hadnât done as of writing the first one.
So there are several ways Elements could work since both Genshin and Pokemon have their own unique systems when it comes to elemental energy. There are several Pokemon Types that match up pretty well with Genshinâs elemental energy (Pyro/ Fire, Hydro/Water, Electro/Electric, Dendro/Grass, Geo/Rock/Ground, Anemo/Flying, Cryo/Ice) so you potentially have several avenues for the elements t take.
For simplicity, Iâll try to refer to elements from Genshin as Elements and elements from Pokemon as Types.
1. Loss of Types
In Genshin somewhere, I believe Elements are referred to as natural building blocks of the world, intrinsically connected to everything.
(I could not for the life of me find where this was referenced. A hypostasis description, or maybe the Unknown God mentions it at the beginning? I searched again while I was rewriting this but I could not find it anywhere. Iâm pretty sure itâs mentioned somewheeereeee??)
Types were referred to as elements sometimes, way back in ye old Gen 1, but beyond that thereâs not really much explanation for what they are other than a game system. So Types could theoretically be the same as Elements, as a universal building block.
There are things in the Pokemon universe that could hold that idea up as well. Arceus, supreme deity of the Pokemon world itself, created plates made of ore left over from the literal creation of the Pokemon Universe to represent each type, as well as having specific forms for each type. Pokemon from other planets have types (Beeheyem, Deoxys) so itâs not just limited to PokeEarth and itâs not something people came up with. A Pokemon with the Fairy typing is hurt more by a move with the Steel typing, itâs not something humans made to describe Pokemon like scientific taxonomy, there are actual physical effects! It totally could be the same thing but in different universes.
So when a Pokemon crosses over into Teyvat, if one of their Types does not match up with an Element (Pyro/ Fire, Hydro/Water, Electro/Electric, Dendro/Grass, Geo/Rock/Ground, Anemo/Flying, Cryo/Ice) then they lose their Type and whatever elemental abilities came along with it, as there is not âmagicâ to sustain their Type. Prolonged periods of time in Teyvat, cut off from the source of their Type will permanently remove it, even if they return to the Pokemon universe.
This would additionally apply to Visions. If someone with a Vision crossed through to the Pokemon World, their Vision would go dark and they would be unable to use the Element granted to them via use of their Vision.
This was initially my least favorite concept, but the more I considered the more interesting stuff it opened up. Different questions and concepts.
Like, what would happen to someone whose Vision turns off? The Visions hold peoples wills and when they lose them, they slowly lose themselves, as in Inazuma. Visions only go dark when a Vision wielder dies, as far as we know. So if someone still has their Vision on them when they cross over, and it goes dark, would it be the same as if it was taken? Itâs not gone, just not⌠connected anymore. Like if suddenly in our world electricity, the concept of electricity, lightning, electrical energy, just stopped existing across all time and space, had never existed before at all, but the things that utilized it still existed, those objects would become obsolete but theyâd still exist! At the very least, theyâd lose their powers. Perhaps theyâd lose their memories too? We donât really know enough about Visions for me to get a grasp on it, but as we learn more it could absolutely be added too.
Additionally, what would happen if a creature who doesnât need a vision but is still connected to the elements like slimes, or the gods, crossed over? Ozial and Beisht seem to be made of Hydro energy, Venti is a Wind Sprite and he and Zhongli are gods who donât need Visions or Gnosis to use the Elements. Slimes, Whopperflowers and Hypostasis exist. Do they lose their abilities? De-evolve in the classic way to something with no Elements? Do they gain Types instead? Technically all the Elements of Teyvat have counterpart Types in the Pokemon Universe but they are different systems, Pyro and Fire are two different things with different rules from different universes despite the similarities between them.
2. Power Boost
So the Pokemon Types and Genshin Elements are very similar, but beyond Types/Elements there are other rules to each gameâs systems and rules. Pokemon has STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) and Genshin has Elemental Resonance and Elemental Reactions.
STAB and Elemental Resonance are very similar. STAB is described as âa damage boost that is applied to moves used by a PokĂŠmon of the same typeâ and Elemental Resonance is a bonus that âwhen there are certain combinations of elemental characters in the party, the whole party will receive a bonusâ, more specifically two or more characters of the same Element. For example, if you have two Pyro characters in your party, youâre affected by Cryo for 40% less time and ATK increases by 25%. If you have two Anemo characters then it decreases Stamina Consumption by 15%, increases Movement SPD by 10% and shortens Skill CD by 5%. (And if you have two Dendro characters in your party, nothing happens, because there are no Dendro characters.)
So for this idea, instead of losing Types, Pokemon who share a type with an Element from Teyvat (Pyro/ Fire, Hydro/Water, Electro/Electric, Dendro/Grass, Geo/Rock/Ground, Anemo/Flying, Cryo/Ice) gain a boost to their power, enhancing their abilities. Pokemon with Types that donât match up to an Element keep their Types but receive no boost. Moves that share Types with an Element also gain a boost to power, regardless of the Pokemonâs typing.
Vision holders & Elemental creatures who cross over to the Pokemon world also gain a big boost to their power, specifically their Elemental attacks, due to STAB. For example, if a large Pyro Slime crossed over, itâs fireball attack would be boosted but itâs body slam attack would not.
However, itâs entirely possible that attacks with no Element like that same body slam could gain a Type, and become a move. So a Large Pyro Slime crosses over, and starts ground pounding stuff but thanks to the boost, itâs suddenly a fiery ground pound. So now we have Pyro Slimes using Pyro Slam, sending out fire waves on impact and fire Type Pokemon or Trainers see this and start replicating the attack. Bam! Pyro Slam is now a move.
This obviously isnât limited to Slimes. Cicins, Eyes of the Storm, Dragons like Dvalin, even Hilichurls, Visions and Delusions â as long as it can utilize the Elements it can get this boost.
This is a good middle ground idea, but it still keeps pieces of both universes in play.
Imagine the chaos! Starters all get pumped up! Youâve suddenly got Pokemon no one would previously bat an eye at, whose Types fit with Genshinâs Elements injected with a brand new magic thatâs shooting their abilities through the roof. Luvdisc, Finneon, and Hoppip have gone from forgettable to formidable. Heavy hitters like Lapras and Talonflame have become even more powerful and Pokemon with rivalries, like Durant and Heatmor, have now had the scales tipped to favor whichever has gotten this magical augmentation. Dragon types now have even more to fear from Ice types, and youâd best be careful exploring caves now, because those Zubat colonies you were complaining about before have Anemo boosts now and they will use them.
Thatâs just normal Pokemon! We havenât even touched on the Legendaries. You have duos and trios now at an imbalance of power because one or several got a boost. Weâre talking the Legendary Birds suddenly having advantages over both Mew and Mewtwo and Ho-oh outdoing Lugia (bet you wished you had that water typing now, huh, you silly Psychic?). Â Palkia, with itâs Water type, is now stronger than both Dialga and Giratina. Battles between Reshiram and Zekrom have become explosively devastating. Throw Kyurem in there and itâs even worse! Yeveltal has the upper hand on Xerneas with itâs Flying type and Arceus forbid Groudon ever go Primal because with the Pyro/Geo bonus due too itâs Fire/Ground Typing, Kyogre and Rayquaza are at a disadvantage thatâs potentially world ending.
Think of all the cool moves Vision wielders and creatures do in Genshin! Right off the bat, Dvalinâs Omega Bomb? Pulse Bomb? Caelestinum Finale Termini? A Pokemon doing that? Abyss Mages teaching Pokemon how to do all their magic? I want to see a Zeraora pull a specialized Musou no Hitotachi on something.
3. New Elements
For whatever reason, Pokemon begin appearing in Teyvat. Some of them have abilities that are very similar to what people already know of, and they can utilize them without the use of visions but they donât seem to be made of these Elements and many donât even visibly contain them. For people who study the Elements, or who are deeply connected to them, this is fascinating because itâs very different from anything anyone knows. It would appear that each Pokemon has power naturally contained within it, and some of these powers are incomprehensibly different than the natural seven Elements.
As more and more Pokemon with different Types cross over, the amount of natural âmagicâ they bring with them grows and grows, eventually seeping into the world. This results in these new Types leaking into the Ley Lines. At first this change is negligible, and the alterations to the very magic that flows through the world via the Ley Lines goes completely unnoticed.
Itâs not until years and years of this âmagicâ mixing do visible changes begin to take place. Elemental lifeforms, creatures made purely of an element are the first sign since they are so intrinsically connected with the Ley Lines. Strange Slimes and Spectres pop up with new colors and powers no oneâs ever seen them use before. People have, however, seen Pokemon use these powers and the locations these special creatures pop up in coincide heavily with areas Pokemon of a specific Type have been known to gather.
Variants of monsters who are heavily affected by the Elements, like Whopperflowers and Cicins, begin to appear. Then clans of Hilichurls who have formed partnerships with Pokemon begin displaying signs of new magic. Samachurls battling alongside Pokemon and using similar magic, just like those Elemental lifeforms from before. Bonus, some of these clans also use those same Elemental creatures, which makes their connection all the more convincing.
More and more elemental-but-not-quite events begin to pop up, until eventually it can no longer be ignored. Due to Type energy naturally emanating from Pokemon over time fusing into the Ley Lines, nine entirely new Elements have emerged and cemented themselves in the Genshin Universe and are officially classified alongside the original seven Elements.
Veneno/Poison
Cerebro/Psychic
Insecto/Bug
Spirito/Ghost
Metallico/ Steel
Drako/Dragon
Tenebro/Dark
Mytho/Fairy
Proelio/Fighting
This one is the other end of the spectrum from loss of Types, and I always like additions to stuff.
Do you think the Archons start to get really antsy because they know something is about to go down, like theyâre all in waiting for a shoe thatâs about to drop? And then Celestia announces that they officially recognize these new elements and due to this, nine new seats, for nine new gods and their chosen ideals, open up. Would it cause another Archon war? How would Teyvat be split up? Would areas of the world start changing to have effects from these new Elements?
Oooh! And new Vision wielders, obviously for these new Elements. Finding the nuances between the new Elements, like the difference between Geo and Metallico is something to touch on. What does the Insecto Element do? How do Proelio and Cerebro Elements match up? Similar to their respective Types?
4. Everything Exists Simultaneously
Pretty self explanatory. Each worlds things still exist upon crossing over. Alakazam is still a Psychic type, Charizard is still a Fire/Flying type. No boosts or type losses. Visions still work. This is the âeverything stays the sameâ choice, but that doesnât make it any less interesting. Itâs like the control group version of the concept.

Pokemon X Genshin Impact
(I originally posted this on a different account, but I'm doing some blog clean up and I'd like my writing stuff here, so I've rewritten the entire post here. It was originally posted on February 19th, 2022, so if some of the things in the post seem a little dated or strange, that would be why. 2.6 hadn't released yet in Genshin and Scarlet and Violet hadn't either. I intend to delve back into this idea some more, because I've fallen back into the hole that is Genshin.)
With the release of Pokemon Legends Arceus and my undending love/obsession for both the Pokemon series and Genshin Impact, I decided to dredge up an old concept that's been sitting in my phone notes since November of 2021, which can be boiled down to 'Pokemon in the Genshin Impact Universe'. Legends has allowed some of these ideas to finally be more fleshed out, so I'm sharing them. Most of this stuff was written before Legends came out so some things may change, but these are my initial ideas!
Portals open in the Pokemon world. There are several possibilities for why this occurs.
Lumine and Aether attempt to leave Teyvat via portal, but when the Unknown God interrupts the portal goes haywire and connects to a different world than they meant to go too (or their next destination was the Pokemon Universe).
Rhinedottir fucks with the fabric of space time using Khemia and accidentally sets off a chain reaction that opens portals to the Pokemon universe.
Someone in the Pokemon Universe, while messing with the Red Chain, causes Dialga/Palkia/Arceus to open portals between worlds (or they distort/weaken the boundaries between universes).
There are so many things in the Pokemon World that could cause something like this to happen, besides just the Red Chain. Any of the creation trio or Arceus. Hoopa. Ultra Wormholes. Celibi. Jirachi. I'm SURE there's more. All it would take is for a human to go messing with something a little more powerful than they can understand, or a Pokemon who's bored, even, to cause something like this to happen.
Any of these are possible explanations.
Regardless of how, portals connecting the Pokemon Universe and the Genshin Universe begin to open. These portals open randomly and sporadically, and only for short periods of time before closing again, but they allow travel between the two worlds and Pokemon begin to appear in Teyvat.
Slowly but surely, Pokemon begin to integrate themselves into Teyvats ecosystems, with even Legendary and Mythical Pokemon occasionally crossing over. After 500 years, they've become a common occurance.
I, personally, headcanon that Teyat (and the Pokemon world) is much bigger than the in game map, so there would be plenty of room for Pokemon of all types to live.
Humans cross over, but much more rarely. I explain this as both worlds appear to have very small human populations and an excessive amount of wild lands.
Teyvat's differing ecosystems allow Pokemon to evolve differently and thus variants for different regions are born.
Most Pokemon gravitate towards different areas based on their type. Some are more obvious, like Liyue is filled with rock, ground and steel types and Sneznyaha is filled with ice types. Some are less obvious, like how electric types hate Inazuma because of the overload of electricity there. Ghosts love Wuwang Hill and many of the shrines in Inazuma. It can also depend on the Pokemon too. Electrike and Manectric love the open fields in Mondstadt and t he Rock Spear Islands in Liyue are great for fighting and psychic types to train and live.
Starters flourish. Since there aren't any people who know their rarity they grow in numbers over time until they have stable populations.
I believe there is absolutely a professor type who came through and was like, 'Holy Arceus! This is a groundbreaking opportunity for levels of research that could literally never be achieved! I must STUDY!' and spends their life studying the effects of an entirely new world and eventually begins a guild that's all about Pokemon. scientists, rangers and trainers, both with and without visions, that outlasts them long after they've passed.
Pokeballs and the technology to make them don't exist so "trainers" have free range teams only limited to however many they can actively train (one to two is common, three is the most general range, six is rare, anything above six is unheard of)
Pokemon level the playing field for people without visions (since anyone can be a trainer), but vision wielders have a higher profinity to train Pokemon. Better bond or whatever.
Pokemon connect naturally to the elements of Teyvat without the gods, kind of like how Hilichurls and monsters do. They don't need visions.
Flora has a Skiploom and a Bulbasaur, as a treat.
Albedo has a Claydol.
The kid on the bridge attracts all the bird Pokemon. (I'm just imagining, like, some Taillow and Starly eating seeds alongside regular doves, while a massive fuckin' Staraptor is just perched behind the kid, watching over them all. Makes me giddy.)
Pokemon are hunted down in Inazuma, being seen as a direct challenge to eternity (evolution the fact they are not from the world, a huge change to the natural and social ecosystem, don't fall under the elements of the gods, ect.) Watatsumi Island is a haven for tons of Pokemon and the Sangonomya Resistence fighters regularly fight alongside Pokemon.
I think there are definitely both bonds between Hilichurls and Pokemon and territory disputes between Hilichurls and Pokemon.
An Articuno claims Dragonspine, a Moltres claims the volcano in Natlan, and a Zapdos claims Seirai Island.
Treasure hunters utilize Pokemon well, though not every Harbinger is down to use them (Childe LOVES Pokemon, Dottore is fascinated by them, Signora hates them until she finds The Ones, Scaramouch refuses to have anything to do with them). Most Fatui soldiers are assigned something, but the choices are much more varied
Zhongli and Venti are down with them. The Adepti kind of just accept them as a part of the world eventually, as you would any animal.
When Pokemon first started to appear it takes time for them to become normal. This is all happening at the same time as, like, Durin and the downfall of Khaenri'ah so people were already on edge. The Adepti absolutely killed many Pokemon, and they are regarded as deamons, monsters and bringers of misfortune in some areas. Relations between humans and Pokemon in some places are still terrible even after 500 years (like Inazuma, beyond Watatsumi).
Pokemon being utilized in some festivals, like Windblume and the Lantern Rite. (Flying types and floating Pokemon to collect lanterns afterwards anyone?)
Zhongli and Rayquaza is pretty good, but I'm on the fence about it.
Portals open in different points in time as well, so Pokemon from different ages can come through (Basculegion, Porygon, Fossil Pokemon)
Fox Pokemon in Inazuma are seen as especially egregious.
Certian Pokemon that appear cause massive destruction. A Tyranitar shows up and causes massive damage somewhere. I imagine there's a grumpy but chilled Tyranitar/Druddigon wandering around Watatsumi Island as, like, a protector.
People in Liyue flaunt well groomed Pokemon as a symbol of status, maybe?
I know there's no actual information on these two countries but also:
People in Natlan fight Pokemon. Not with other Pokemon. Just, like, barehanded wrestling an Arcanine into the ground.
Sumeru is a hotspot for all sorts of Pokemon.
#pokemon#genshin impact#crossover#drabble#all of these were ideas I had before Legends Arceus actually released#Some are pretty close to what's in the actual game#so that's cool

Mmmm
I kinda wanna throw some glittergolf in SiSt now. Old flame kinda thing.
I've been leaning away from using the other SB and FNAF animatronics, there's more worldbuilding than there is actual people in the story that's based around them (aka the different species in the story).
But goddamn Detective Moon and his old bounty hunter partner/ bartender beau sounds VERY enticing.
#writing#fnaf au#Sist#silicone stomach#glittergolf#I dont consider myself much of a shipper but I do love me some complicated relationships#and it sounds kinda cute too

Did I daydream this, or was there a website for writers with like. A ridiculous quantity of descriptive aid. Like I remember clicking on " inside a cinema " or something like that. Then, BAM. Here's a list of smell and sounds. I can't remember it for the life of me, but if someone else can, help a bitch out <3
