The funniest shit about asexuals is that all of us grew up consuming media that talks on and on about sexual attract and desire, with a pretty hypersexualized culture and people talk about it a fucking lot too. And what is that we all collectively think? "Yeah, that's clearly an exaggeration, nobody actually feels like that! The whole world it's pretending, that's the only possible explanation..." Like sure buddy, that's a very logical way of thinking, the entire world is acting, don't think too hard about it
The most cost effective way to end homelessness is to give people homes
"The case comes from the rural Oregon town of Grants Pass, which started fining people $295 for sleeping outside to manage homeless encampments that sprung up in the city’s public parks as the cost of housing escalated."
Can you imagine having the first response be, "Let's fine these people!" and not, "Let's help these people!"
Then to set the fine at $295. I have a decent job and that'd be a bite and you're doing that to people who are fucking homeless? You have no soul, you have no humanity, if you think this is any kind of solution and I fear the Supreme Court will uphold it.
I'm still not entirely convinced it's a real thing.
Ace rambles
Guys I need answers. Because how do you define sexual attraction? Do allo people just think "damn I want to have sex with them" if they like someone?
I as a ace (this is a spectrum and different for everyone) like to touch and kiss and cuddle or whatever but NOT in a sexual way. And as far as I know all these things CAN be seen as sexual. But how is that different? Does feeling sexual feelings mean that they want to have sex?
Ughh I literally made a whole biological study out of this but still don't know what's the difference.
I made a mini series of comics about how i eventually found out i'm asexual, here's the first issue, this realisation happened when i was 11
ID: a digital comic in two panels that features two characters: an anthropomorphic cat and a human girl with glasses and long hair. In the first panel, the girl is reading a book and saying "This character is soooooooo hot, OMG! I really love him", the cat sitting next to her is drawing and raising an eyebrow as they listen to the girl. In the next panel, the cat has an unsure expression and thinks: "This 'being hot' thing sounds less like a joke every time. They might be serious.". End ID.
A family of cheetahs sleep with the forest guard every night. When the Forest Dept. heard about it, they decided to check the veracity of the claim by installing a CCTV camera. This is what the camera recorded! Just amazing.
