saw some ppl complaining that MCR's current tour is "cringe" bc they're "old" and other ppl fighting for their fucking lives to defend MCR and it's like don't waste ur energy. people making fun of MCR again is like nature healing. if you're a young MCR fan this is your chance to live the authentic experience from 2008
#lol emo/scene was infamously full of boys who were bi or bi-curious or gay or heteroflexable or trans/non-binary#Even people would make tasteless jokes about boys kissing each other at concerts for the attention of girls#which come on#it's 2025 and we can admit it wasn't the worst thing to have a place boys felt okay to experiment#even if it was just being a little kinky for their girlfriend

we need to invent a way to explain how deep running and pervasive and subliminal racism and antiblackness is without immediately sounding like an insane conspiracy theorist
#the amount of tv dramas with a black family that has a light skinned daughter and dark skinned boy is the majority of them#For a while there the daughter of two black people had to be a mixed race actress with curly hair#It was a glorious day when they let those girls be mixed characters too instead of playing in our faces

contrary to popular belief not everyone has an innate sense of internal gender or care to have one or seek a name for it, some people go their whole lives without questioning their occupation in one of two gender roles, but for some people, if pressed, they don’t feel that internal sense of ‘i am a woman’ or ‘i am a man’, and in that case i feel the switch over to transgender vs cisgender relies on active identification of a gender other than the one they were assigned. if someone’s like ‘idk dude I just work here’ then that’s valid

Any other aromatics love the unrequited love trope? Especially if both characters have to work through it and figure out how to move forward. Like crack to me at one point in my life "for some reason".

Nothing is more humbling than being a Very Online gay person and hanging out with a gay person who isn't online because it forces you to realize that all the things you thought were popular with gay people are actually popular with a small cadre of annoying nerds who just so happen to be gay. Like I was talking to my butch lesbian coworker about music and she had never heard of Chappell Roan or Muna but she'd been to multiple Imagine Dragons concerts. Bro you're married to a woman??? How many dragons could you possibly need to imagine???? What are we celebrating here Pride Month or the Kia Summer Sales Event???? And you're an Imagine Dragons fan but you've never heard of Arcane??? And then after the shock wears off I realize that I'M the weird one for having watched Arcane. I'll never fully recover from this.
#Is this why I have trouble relating to the online community?#I'm only really online on Tumblr and I only use it on desktop#this is like that time my sibling explained what Metaverse was to me when we were bar hopping last#I may officially be an offline person#I'd say I'm missing out but it all seems like a drag tbh

i’ve begun saying people “obviously aren’t in a romantic relationship, they have something deeper and more intimate going on” as this seems to confuse and upset alloromantics
#lol yes#The language sucks for relationship hierarchy#Sometimes people are more than in love and become true friends

#Respectful dudes are everywhere in the casual sex scene btw#They know the score usually#but that requires knowing yourself and setting boundaries clearly#I find that in general people are good and understanding and looking for connection#It's really the people who spend their day creating hypotheticals in their head that are the worst to date

#I'm not attracted to any genders but I have plenty of sex with them anyways#so the real answer is $0#but if they're offering may as well go big
