Love the part in Evil Dead 2 where Jake is being dragged into the cellar and Annie is trying to drag him out by the legs, but even when she's getting hit by a torrent of blood she's still pulling, like
Girl he's soup

wizard college is going to kill me I swear to god. I just saw someone without a component satchel reach into their pocket and pull out a handful of LOOSE tapioca to use as a substitute for blood in their fell ritual. and it worked. I've never been so fucking mad.

MODEROID El Dora V (Gun X Sword)
I still am not entirely sure where El Dora V comes from? I think I remember seeing an old Vachidra video on YT of its transformation sequence? But I remember hearing it was from a video game? IDK.
Anyway, I just have to tell you the names of all the individual robots, because they are hilarious: Grand Header, Body Gander, Power Hander, Nice Footer, and Pink Amigo. Wow. Gotta love when Japanese people with a partial understanding of English decide to give English names to stuff. And that is not some backhanded slight, I legitimately love names like this.
The Good: This is a really good kit. Five small builds, so it's easy to pace out and never feels like a lot. All the individual robots look great, and the two robot modes look great, too. The transformation to said robot modes is also pretty solid. Like a lot of Moderoids, it comes with swappable parts to make it more screen accurate, but it's fully transformable without them.

El Dora V also is also quite posable, despite being made of five small robots. It also has a lot of effect parts. And it does one of my favorite things; the display stand can store everything. All the unused accuracy parts, all the effect parts, the smaller robot's head, everything. It's great.
The Bad: My only real issue with El Dova V is Nice Footer? It's not bad or anything, but it has a somewhat disappointing transformation compared to everyone else. Those grey pieces on the front of the legs require quite a bit of partsforming, and it's not terrible, but when you compare it to everyone else it's just a feeling of "you were so close."

The Details: This was another simple kit, detail-wise. I panel lined all the areas where I could, and actually used the stickers. It really came down to the giant stickers on the wings, as white is notoriously obnoxious to paint, and there were very few stickers apart from that anyway, mostly just coming down to the cuffs on the second pair of wrists, and the eyes on the birds.
Overall, it's a fun transforming robot kit. I don't know anything about Gun X Sword, so I have no attachment to this apart from what I've handled, so I can say that if this looks like something you'd normally be into, you'll probably enjoy it and its very silly names.

the default way for things to taste is good. we know this because "tasty" means something tastes good. conversely, from the words "smelly" and "noisy" we can conclude that the default way for things to smell and sound is bad. interestingly there are no corresponding adjectives for the senses of sight and touch. the inescapable conclusion is that the most ordinary object possible is invisible and intangible, produces a hideous cacophony, smells terrible, but tastes delicious. and yet this description matches no object or phenomenon known to science or human experience. so what the fuck

Gotcha, thanks! My parents just came back from Spain and brought me that as a souvenir; so I was really wondering what it was!
Hey drimito! As the local resident expert in weapons and swords, I have something to ask you:

Do you know what kind of sword is this? My first instinct is that it's a Gladius, mostly because of the logo, but I've never seen one IRL. It's about a bit longer than 30cm in length, including the pommel, with a thin blade, and actually made in Spain.
This is not a sword, it’s a dagger! The “Gladius” label on the box is likely a brand of some sort and definitely not an indicator of what the weapon is, as a gladius sword is about twice as long — and traditionally, lacks a cross guard on the hilt or adorns, it was a weapon’s weapon, though you can find some gladii nowadays with small cross guards and other such gilding — as the blade you have in the photo.
Additionally, what caught my eye was the gilding on the weapon, from pommel to sigils: It’s meant to be a Knights Templar dagger specifically.

If you see a cross of gules over sable and argent, that is, a red cross over black and white, that’s Knights Templar. Dagger’s got it there by the hilt, alongside another one by the tip of the scabbard, gules over or — red on gold — by necessity of the material.
If the total length of your weapon of this type is something like 20 to 40 cms, that’s most likely a dagger.

Good news! I managed to get Stellar Blade running in my laptop at a constant 30 fps!
Bad news! It looks like something out of the n64 era!
Great news! It looks like Conker's Bad Fur Day, which makes it so unintentionally funny enough, I busted my ass when I saw Doro appear with less pixels than Lara Croft's right titty in a dreamcast game
