#man i had something really weird happen to me today and i think it was my blood pressure dropping too fast??#was watching a medical mysteries video and started getting lightheaded and thought 'ok i must be too squeamish for this' so i stopped#but it got worse until i was like fully swooning and my whole body was sweating a lot so i went to flop down on my bed#and then i couldnt remember what time or day it was? that i would be lying on my bed? but i just kept lying there#eventually the dizziness receded and i was able to cool down but like what the fuck? was that?? thats never happened before#i took my blood pressure and it was a normal range which is weird bc usually its elevated so i thought that might be the cause. why tho#did seeing a polycystic kidney really make me almost faint. it just seems unlikely. that was so scary tho wtf!!!

#last time i made shrimp scampi i was like 'hey so what IS scampi anyway' and best i could find its the garlic butter and the crustaceans#did you know instead of garlic butter you can use garlic + butter. waow. last times scampi was traumatic for me actually#they didnt have the 1lb bags of shrimp at the store so i had to get a 2lb bag so i thought i might as well double the recipe#put everything in the pressure cooker and waited like 30 mins for it to come to pressure when suddenly i hear beeping#but it wasnt the pressure beep it was the burnt food beep. it fucking burned my scampi....#by that point it had fully cooked so it was fine and the pasta is always burnt anyway but man. do not put too much food in there i guess

minesweeper
#two laptops ago i was really into getting my win ratio up in minesweeper. i think i had around 25%. not because the game itself is hard#its bc i play expert level and it almost always ends up with a corner where it could be in either square and you just have to guess#kind of bad game design? maybe versions that arent windows games handle generation differently#i downloaded a win7 game suite so i could play minesweeper in win10. and also mahjong#mahjong i would play each board in order and if i ran out of matches would undo moves until i could get a full clear#maybe seeing the 100% win ratio in mahjong soothed the ache from the minesweeper ratio
