Tony Stark Prompt:
Tony is walking through the streets of New York when he is almost hit by an out of control bus. Luckily New York's newest enhanced superhero is there to save him. As Tony chats with the teen afterwards to thank him, he is taken by surprise by the bubbly fanboy he is presented with and, most importantly, by his stories of a fateful night at the Stark Expo years ago.
Tony saved Peter's life years ago, only for the favor to be returned. Tony vows to keep protecting Peter even as the teen decides it's his personal mission to save others.

Tony Stark Prompt:
Tony never thought he would be a father, let alone a father of two. He knew parenting would be hard and he knew deep down that he would be bad at it... but after adopting Peter he had wanted to try and had since had Morgan. Now, after Peter and Morgan had a fight he has no idea what to do. Does he take sides? Ignore it? Force a family meeting? Why is parenting so hard?!

Prompt: Canon fix-it. Most of the events in Thor: The Dark World happen while Tony is otherwise occupied dealing with the events of Iron Man 3 (and trying to figure out how to keep Extremis from blowing up Pepper), so J.A.R.V.I.S. decides to send some of the Iron Legion to London to help out with the apparent alien invasion. As a result, after the battle is won, Thor decides he should call on his shield brother to thank him for his assistance, and he, Jane, Selvig, Darcy, and Ian the intern all head to Stark Tower in New York (since Tony’s Malibu home has been destroyed and that’s where he’s eventually relocated with the bots) to see friend Anthony (right before Tony decides to use Extremis on himself so that he can have both the arc reactor and the shrapnel threatening his heart removed), with the result that Tony, J.A.R.V.I.S., Jane, and Selvig convince Thor to leave the Aether there, so that it can be studied and Tony can help make absolutely sure that Jane won’t suffer any lasting harm from having acted as a temporary host for the Reality Stone. Due to the proposed increase in work, J.A.R.V.I.S. convinces Tony to activate an AI program he’s been working on, tentatively named Ultron, since that program is closest to complete, even though the program isn’t nearly capable of what Tony would like it to be able to do. Ultron is allowed to assume over half of the work associated with Stark Industries, so that J.A.R.V.I.S. can concentrate on Sir and on keeping Sir safe while he investigates the Aether. Meanwhile, partially due to a request from Pepper (who does not appreciate being used as one of Tony’s major points of vulnerability and would like to be able to protect herself. She appreciates being offered a suit of her own and gladly promises to train as Rescue in case of emergencies, but she’d prefer not to have to rely solely on a suit), Tony also keeps tinkering with Extremis, in case there’s another way to fix it that won’t require stripping out most of what makes it useful so that it won’t put people in danger of blowing up, which involves reaching out to experts in the medical field … and brings him into contact with a certain snarky perfectionist genius neurosurgeon by the name of Dr. Stephen Strange.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story: acting as host to the Aether has altered Dr. Jane Foster on the genetic level, which is how she becomes capable of wielding Mjölnir and becomes Lady Thor; Thor visits the dwarves and has them make him Stormbreaker so that he can gift Mjölnir to Jane; when the Aether makes herself at home where the arc reactor used to be, Extremis and the remnants of the palladium poisoning interact with Aether to make Tony a technopath; technopath Tony just manages to ground the helicariers in DC and stop the release of all of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s or SHIELDRA’s files online, so thousands of relatively innocent agents, employees, informants, and their family members aren’t all suddenly burned but all of Hydra’s dirty laundry gets released; Tony finds out about the Winter Soldier having murdered his parents before anyone can lie to him about it (along with a lot of files about hostile aliens. Yikes! Maybe it’s past time to make the Avengers worldwide instead of just one team based in the US) and eventually vows to “destroy” the Winter Soldier (and coincidentally rescue Bucky Barnes) in response, since he can tell the difference between a weapon and a man; Jane as Lady Thor has Tony’s back and so Wanda can’t mind-rape him in Sokovia; more precautions are taken with the Scepter, so the malevolent sentience in it doesn’t get the chance to steal Ultron’s name or to kill/hijack Ultron or J.A.R.V.I.S., even if it does eventually get out; the escaping malevolent sentience from the Scepter (which Tony and, thus, the rest of the scientists decide to call the malevolent magical parasite or M.M.P.) eventually escapes via the internet and infiltrates Pym Technologies after being blocked from Stark Industries by Ultron and J.A.R.V.I.S, hijacking the Yellowjacket suit (killing Darren Cross in the process and assuming the name of Yellowjacket, even though Tony keeps calling him the M.M.P.) and forcing Pym, Hope van Dyne, and Scott Lang to work with Tony and the Avengers to stop it from wreaking havoc all over the globe, especially once M.M.P. uses Yellowjacket to steal the Scepter back (and it’s all hands on deck, at that point, which means that Pepper immediately steps up and puts on the Rescue suit). Wanda and Pietro Maximoff get treated like the dangerous Hydra agents they are and Steve is treated as mentally compromised for suddenly sympathizing so openly with them; Ultron in one of the Iron Legion armors on sentry mode prevents Wanda from getting close enough to Bruce to set off the Hulk (though most of the others – including Ant-Man, who has to be contained by Wasp, though Lady Thor and Rescue are in the air with Iron Man and therefore protected – are still mind-raped, which means they’re not at all happy when Steve seems to want to treat the murder twins like they’re just a couple of misguided kids. Natasha and Clint in particular are not at all happy with Steve); J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron use aspects of their codes to cobble together the basis of another AI to download into the synthetic body that the M.M.P. has forced Helen Cho to grow him so he’s not dependent on the Yellowjacket suit, resulting in a somewhat dragon-hearted version of Vision; between J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, Tony, Vision, and everyone else working together, Novi Grad doesn’t get ripped out of the ground, the M.M.P. is dealt with (without any help from the murder twins or Steve, since they’ve all been sidelined from the battle) without causing a major disaster in Sokovia. After retreating to the Yellowjacket suit, the last bit of the M.M.P. are dealt with when Ant-Man and Wasp manage to trap him in the quantum realm. Hydra files prove that the supposed “bomb” that killed the Maximoff parents actually resulted from actions taken by Hydra, on orders from Strucker, to perpetuate the Sokovian Civil War (a US airplane was shot down and part of it and it’s payload, including a missile – which didn’t go off because it wasn’t activated – fell on their apartment), which results in genuine changes of heart from Pietro and (eventually) Wanda, though Wanda has to go through training under the Ancient One before she completely loses her bad attitude. Tony has promised to help Hope rescue her mom from the quantum realm, he still wants to work on Extremis, he and Dr. Strange seem to working on a line of medical protheses and B.A.R.F., the Aether is still an issue, the Avengers need to be global and that means Tony needs to get the UN working with them and to get rid of Thaddeus Ross before he can become a problem (thankfully, SHIELDRA has all sorts of records that’ll help with that), and Ultron truly wants to be the shield around the world, so J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron convince Tony to complete and activate another of the AIs he’s been working on, to help deal with the increased workload while Ultron learns how to watch over and protect Earth, which results in F.R.I.D.A.Y. coming online. Darcy and Pietro hit it off like nobody’s business, and a trained and in control Wanda returns to the Avengers to fall head over heels for Vision (who is fiercely protective of his family, his friends, and his world). Writer’s choice what happens from there, but I’d love to see Loki decide that maybe the Tesseract would be safer on Midgard, after all (and that maybe it’s time for him to stop hiding and ask for an alliance with Earth’s mightiest heroes). Extra bonus points, though, if Cassie Lang and Barton’s kids all get introduced to Tony and immediately claim him as their honorary uncle, which means he introduces them to Harley Keener, his honorary kid. Extra, extra bonus points if widespread knowledge that Pym and Tony Stark are working together means that Bill Foster brings Ava Starr to their attention and the brain gang (as Rhodey dubs Tony’s scientist squad) figures out a way to help her and to save Janet van Dyne. Extra, extra, extra bonus points if Tony’s Avenger Accords means that Bucky voluntarily decides to come in out of the cold and seek treatment for his brainwashing, which means that the other Hydra Winter Soldiers are captured and treated so that they can be put on trial for their crimes (since they were willing volunteers and Hydra assassins and soldiers). ALL the bonus points in the ’verse if the Ancient One tricks/cajoles/bullies/bedazzles Stephen into letting himself be trained and this means that he never has his accident and remains a ridiculously highly skilled neurosurgeon in addition to becoming a powerful sorcerer essentially claimed as the Time Stone’s favorite/chosen champion.

Prompt: Canon fix-it. During Civil War, when Wanda throws Vision down through all of those floors at the Compound, the Mind Stone is jarred halfway loose from its setting and J.A.R.V.I.S. wakes up when a badly traumatized Vision panics and retreats into the back of their shared mind and refuses to come back out again. Things go . . . very differently at the Leipzig- Halle airport (i.e., no one gets away and Wanda is the only one badly injured, after throwing a stack of cars at “Sir” and attacking Black Widow when Clint pulls his punches against her. J.A.R.V.I.S. hits her hard enough to put her in a coma, at least temporarily. Spider-Man still takes a hit, but it’s not nearly as bad, though he is sent home afterwards); however, T’Challa badly wounds both Steve and Bucky as well as Natasha and Clint, after he comes to Natasha’s aid, so T’Challa ends up getting thrown into the Raft, too (for attempted murder). When Clint breaks down and admits that he answered the call because Steve said there was an end of the world threat, explaining that there are more Winter Soldiers in Siberia, Tony, J.A.R.V.I.S., and Rhodey fly to Siberia to deal with the problem . . . only to find a disappointed Zemo playing the video of the Winter Soldier murdering Howard and Maria Stark and releasing both it and a monologue explaining how he knew that Steve knew the truth and had deliberately kept it from Tony to the internet. The world has a collective breakdown, especially since Zemo has also released multiple files about US Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross’ multiple crimes against humanity (in regards to the Hulk and his part in the creation of the Hulk) and about Wanda Maximoff and her “training” under Hydra, not to mention video proof that she mind-raped Tony in Sokovia (leading at least in part to the escape from the Scepter of the malevolent sentience that chose to call itself Ultron) and Bruce Banner/the Hulk outside Johannesburg (resulting in the Hulk’s rampage through the city), too. J.A.R.V.I.S., Rhodey, Pepper, Happy, Harley Kenner, and Peter Parker all close ranks around Tony; Ross is arrested and thrown in his own prison while a long, hard look is directed at the Raft’s population (and many are subsequently set free and often recruited to the New Avengers Initiative); the Ancient One steps forward to deal with Wanda; Shuri sweettalks Helen Cho into working with her and volunteers enough vibranium to make a separate body for Vision once she’s helped to separate the Mind Stone from J.A.R.V.I.S. and once Tony has figured out how to adapt his “Badassium” (based on the Tesseract and the Space Stone) to make another element based solely on the Mind Stone, so that both Vision and J.A.R.V.I.S. can keep at least most of the powers associated with Vision’s original body without having what the Ancient One has informed them is a dangerously powerful Infinity Stone stuck in one of their foreheads; the world takes Tony seriously about the alien threat ultimately behind the New York invasion instead of treating him like an hysteric and starts to feverishly work to try to protect the Earth and recruit enough New Avengers to cover more than just one disaster at a time, with individuals with powers seemingly popping up out of the woodwork all over the world in response; Natasha (who truly believed Steve when he said he’d told Tony and thought that was why he stepped back, after Ultron and is furious that he lied to her), Clint (who never knew about the Winter Soldier murdering the Starks), Scott, and eventually Sam (who also never knew about the Winter Soldier killing the Starks and is furious with Steve for lying to everyone and for using Tony’s wealth and resources to look for Bucky while keeping that a secret) get released from the Raft to “work off” their debts with the New Avengers, but Wakanda has to pay for all of the damage done in Lagos, the Avengers Compound in New York, the UN building in Vienna that Zemo bombed, Romania, and Germany before T’Challa is released (and Queen Ramonda, recognizing that her hotheaded young son is too
self-centered and arrogant to be King, takes the throne of Wakanda, ordering T’Challa to join the New Avengers to work off his own debt of honor) and Steve and Bucky are kept on the Raft until Wakanda volunteers to take Bucky in while Shuri searches for a way to deprogram him (Steve is ultimately brought up on multiple charges at The Hague and the world is so angry that there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it, though the UN can and does suggest that he be allowed to work off his sentence with the New Avengers, too, though at a location away from Dr. Stark); Dr. Strange has his accident and goes to Kamar-Taj (looking for a cure but remaining to be trained as a sorcerer) but Tony (who isn’t recovering from being beaten half to death and left behind in a broken suit in a broken Hydra base in Siberia) is on hand for the fight in New York and intervenes, saving the Ancient One’s life, which ultimately means that Mordo doesn’t leave the Masters of the Mystic Arts after Stephen uses the Time Stone to defeat Dormammu; and, afterwards, the Eye of Agamotto stays with Stephen and the Ancient One asks that Dr. Strange join Dr. Stark’s new team in New York, where it’s snarky love at first snark (though neither genius realizes it for entirely too long). Writer’s choice whether Stephen uses the Time Stone to figure out where they need to go after the other Infinity Stones, to keep them away from Thanos, or if Thor actually returns to Earth as promised to report on his quest to seek the Stones and they then promptly bring the Tesseract (and, thus, the Space Stone) and the Aether to Earth to be dealt with by the Masters of the Mystic Arts, using a combination of the magic and the Stones to hide them in times/locations that Thanos simply won’t be able to get to (since it takes having more than one Stone in order to get to safely get to them and by that point only Power and Soul are unaccounted for). Writer’s choice as to whether or not Ragnarök or something entirely different happens, since so much has changed, but bonus points if Natasha (who’s become uber protective of Tony) ends up falling for J.A.R.V.I.S. and Hulk has a thing going with Valkyrie, regardless. Extra bonus points if Tony and Stephen working together with Shuri, Peter, Ned, MJ, Harley, Dr. Cho and her son, Amadeus, and Dr. Pym, Hope, and Scott (Scott gets Hope on his side and Hope forces her dad to read the leaked Hydra reports that prove that Howard Stark never tried to steal a single blasted thing from Pym and that Pym is nothing but a hypocrite since he actually has stolen from a Stark. Also, with Tony’s help, they get what they need to rescue Hope’s mom and it ends up helping out Ava Starr before she starts hurting and killing people in pursuit of a cure) come up with a way to have a working AI suit of armor not just around their world but around a good chunk of their solar system that’s powered in part by new elements based not just on the Space Stone but also the Mind Stone and the Aether (and Tony actually gets to legally name one of them Badassium. The other one is Starkanium and the other Starkium, maybe?), which works kind of like the net around Xandar only better and with satellites, AI, and magic instead of ships. Extra extra bonus points if Pepper volunteers to wear the Rescue armor in the fight against Thanos and demands to have Extremis upped enough for her to be able to protect herself out of the armor (which she knows is possible, because Tony told her there were different stable versions but only after he gave her the one that would affect her the least, which she’s still angry with him for doing without asking her first. Writer’s choice if this means that Tony also injects himself with a stronger dosage and it reacts to the lingering remnants of the palladium poisoning from the first arc reactors and the bleeding edge nanobots and the new reactor in a way that results in something very like technopathy and possibly also an increased sensitivity to magic that drives him to learn at least the basics?) and Harley absolutely insists on having his own
suit modeled on Iron Man, since Peter’s gotten one already and he’s not that much younger than Peter. Writer’s choice how the final battle plays out, but I would love for most of the battle to happen off-world and for none of the main heroes to die, since Thanos only has one or two stones (and yes, that includes Gamora. No Gamora being sacrificed to the Soul Stone or killed to keep her away from Thanos, please! Maybe they pretend to kill her and Thanos has to sacrifice one of his other children? Like Squidward, maybe?), even if he is a Titan and he does have an army of armies!

Prompt: Canon fix-it. Tony is initially thankful that Coulson helped save Pepper from Obie but Fury made a grave mistake, attacking J.A.R.V.I.S. and it doesn’t help that he’s never even heard of S.H.I.E.L.D. before. He’s provided most of the US government’s weapons for years, so how can S.H.I.E.L.D. possibly be legit if he’s never heard of it before? So he updates J.A.R.V.I.S., tells him that he has permission to protect himself if anyone else like Fury tries to come calling, and then he goes digging. And digging. And digging. And finds Hydra right around the same time that a certain redhead goes all ninja on Happy (which only seems to prove that S.H.I.E.L.D. can’t be trusted). So Tony saves himself with the breadcrumbs that S.H.I.E.L.D. deigns to give him, but he doesn’t forget how Coulson essentially threatened to kill him (which is what a strong enough taser directly to the chest would probably do. Does no one remember that he has a heart condition?), he doesn’t forget how cavalier S.H.I.E.L.D. is towards J.A.R.V.I.S. (his brain child, his son), he doesn’t forget that an assassin snuck in to his company (putting all of his employees’ livelihoods at risk) and tried to steal from him and hurt Happy (his friend. One of his few true friends), and he definitely doesn’t forget that S.H.I.E.L.D. has essentially deliberately sat on the information that could literally save his life it was almost too late to do any good. S.H.I.E.L.D. wants to play hardball with him? Fine. Let’s see how S.H.I.E.L.D. likes having its Hydra roots exposed to the world.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story: J.A.R.V.I.S. asks for another AI to help divvy up the workload (fully intending to put his younger sibling to work with Pepper and Stark Industries while he focuses on protecting Sir) and F.R.I.D.A.Y. comes online before A.I.M. becomes a problem; J.A.R.V.I.S. and F.R.I.D.A.Y. decide that Tony needs more backup and the Iron Legion gets started shortly after F.R.I.D.A.Y. comes online; S.H.I.E.L.D. is kept too busy dealing with Hydra, bad PR, multiple lawsuits (really, it’s just stupid to mistreat the person you’ve basically been stealing from for decades to help finance you. And it’s even more idiotic to piss off the people who make it their business to protect that person. J.A.R.V.I.S., Pepper, Happy, Rhodey, and F.R.I.D.A.Y. are all out for blood), and constant government subpoenas to keep trying to pull their manipulative gaslighting ways on Tony; Tony ends up semi-adopting several of the victims of SHIELDRA who’ve either been illegally stashed places like the Raft, blackmailed/brainwashed into working for one side or other of the organization, or hounded into hiding, like Dr. Bruce Banner, which means that he accidentally forms a far more stable (and less backbiting/manipulative) version of the Avengers all on his own (without Steve Rogers, since S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn’t had the time or resources to thaw him out and Fury’s keeping the knowledge of where he’s at a secret); Thaddeus Ross ends up in jail pretty much for life for crimes against humanity and treason; Tony ends up with the Tesseract (and a lot of information on really hostile aliens. Yikes! Maybe he needs to start working on an AI who can be a suit of armor around the world) after Pepper convinces him to sue S.H.I.E.L.D. for all of Howard’s intellectual property, so there’s no meddling and no opening for Thanos to use, with Loki, which means that the crisis with the Mad Titan is pushed way back, since Earth never gets drawn to his attention (writer’s choice if this means that Loki has to figure out how to free himself and if this perhaps involves him stealing the Scepter – and, thus, the Mind Stone – after killing his main tormentor); Tony, with so much extra time on his hands (now that he’s not being browbeaten by S.H.I.E.L.D. into basically working for them for next for free), decides it’s time to address others hurt by his weapons and promptly gets introduced to a certain snarky perfectionist neurosurgeon when he starts working on a line of affordable prosthetics; Dr. Strange ends up helping with the Extremis problem and the result is a form of Extremis that’ll give Pepper a fighting chance if anyone ever tries to grab her again (which she firmly insists on having, after being kidnapped, experimented on, and nearly killed by Killian. She’s a big girl and she’d prefer being able to protect herself, rather than having to play damsel in distress, thanks all the same); Tony, who’s already working on a version of the bleeding edge armor, puts off the surgery until he figures it out (with help from Dr. Strange, who’s somehow become Stephen); Iron Dad starts with Harley Keener; the Convergence still happens but much differently without Loki in prison on Asgard and with Dr. Jane Foster and Dr. Selvig on Stark Industry payroll (and a third Infinity Stone ends up staying on Earth. Writer’s choice if no one royal dies or if Odin is the one who dies this time around, but since Hela is Loki’s mom I would prefer it if Ragnarök doesn’t immediately happen, if Hela gets out of her prison. Perhaps Hela goes off to find/rescue her child, instead? Or Frigga figures out how to keep her sealed away, at least for a little while longer? Or the traitorous Lady Sif and the Warriors Three or Heimdall – who never get punished for disobeying orders from Loki as acting ruler of Asgard or orders that Odin, himself, gave, regarding Thor’s banishment! – get sucked into the mini black holes instead?); Tony, who’s been working with the US government and the UN to protect the world’s enhanced pretty much from the moment he realized that there were enhanced (and that they didn’t have the money and power of Stark Industries to protect them, like he did), since he’s all about transparency and accountability, gets the Avengers’ Accords passed right around the time that Ultron comes online without a hitch; all of the Winter Soldiers are put in play by a desperate Hydra and Tony’s Avengers have to figure out how to deal with them (preferably without killing them, which means Stephen gets tapped to try to help figure out how to deprogram brainwashed assassins); Peter Parker gets bitten by a spider and immediately goes to the Avengers when he figures out he has powers; and Loki decides it’s time to stop running and hiding and ally with Earth’s mightiest heroes.

Another submission from the same anonymous tumblr writer as the last several posts! Give it a read! It’s super well done!
Universe: AU/Canon
Pairing(s) and/or Major Character(s): Tony Stark/Pepper Potts; Tony Stark & James Rhodes; Tony Stark & Happy Hogan; Tony Stark & Pepper Potts; Rescue!Pepper Potts; Extremis!Pepper Potts; Extremis!Tony Stark; Tony Stark & J.A.R.V.I.S.; J.A.R.V.I.S. lives; Tony Stark & Ultron; Ultron wakes up when attacked and joins forces with J.A.R.V.I.S. to fight back; Tony Stark & F.R.I.D.A.Y.
Assumed Rating: T - MA
URL/Name: [Optional]
Prompt: Canon fix-it. Tony Stark can program sentience, but not instant morals, which is why the Ultron project isn’t feasible, as is (Ultron would work just fine as a new AI, but would need years of teaching/learning/growing to handle the kind of workload – a suit of armor around the world – that Tony wants him to be able to instantly handle), at least not yet. However, since Ultron could and would still be able to function as a new AI, if activated, when the malevolent sentience attached by Thanos to the Mind Stone escapes from the Scepter, due to the massive power surge that Thor causes goofing off with Mjölnir, the result is that Ultron comes online and wakes up. Confused but fully functional as an AI, Ultron automatically defers to J.A.R.V.I.S. (who has been coded as his big brother by his primary creator) and works with him to fight off the attacking sentience, but the sentience hijacks one of the Iron Legions and escapes, busting through the party on its way out. Tony is shocked to find Ultron online, but immediately goes into protective dad mode when Steve and a few of the others start throwing accusations while Bruce goes into defensive science bro mode over Tony (Hulk nearly makes an appearance when Thor grabs Tony, but Rhodey gets there first and Thor is forced to back down). Ultron responds by digging through Hydra’s servers looking for information about the Scepter and the malevolent sentience (dubbed the magical parasite by Tony) while J.A.R.V.I.S. investigates what may have caused the sentience to escape the Scepter, which quickly results in the discovery that Wanda Maximoff mind-raped Tony in Sokovia and that Thor (via Mjölnir) is responsible for the power surge that freed the malevolent sentience.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story: Wanda and Pietro Maximoff are treated like the dangerous Hydra agents they are and Steve is treated as having been mentally compromised for suddenly sympathizing with them and taking Wanda’s word over his team mates; Thor realizes he’s f*cked up and actually fights to make amends; Ultron in one of the Iron Legion armors on sentry mode prevents Wanda from getting close enough to Bruce to set off the Hulk (though the others are still mind-raped, which means they’re not happy when Steve seems to want to treat the murder twins like they’re misguided kids. Natasha and Clint in particular are not at all happy with Steve); a backup of J.A.R.V.I.S. forms the basis of Vision but J.A.R.V.I.S. himself is just fine; between J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron and Tony, Novi Grad doesn’t get ripped out of the ground, the magical parasite is dealt with (without help from the murder twins or Steve) without causing a major disaster in Sokovia, and Thor decides that the best way to make amends with friend Anthony is to show that he absolutely trusts him … so he goes and fetches the Aether and makes a gift of it in recompense, which results in Tony activating F.R.I.D.A.Y. to try to help deal with the work overload while he geeks out over the Aether. Writer’s choice what happens from here but I’d love to see Tony tame the Reality Stone (and Loki decide that maybe the Tesseract would be safer on Midgard, after all, as a result).

Another really cool prompt written by the same amazing anonymous submitter as the last few posts! (if this is you and you want credit let me know). It's really well thought out so give it a read!
(Writer's choice)
Universe: AU
Pairing(s) and/or Major Character(s): Tony Stark/Stephen Strange; implied Rescue (actual goddess Pepper Potts)/Loki; J.A.R.V.I.S. & Tony Stark; Friday & Tony Stark; Stephen Strange & the Cloak of Levitation
Assumed Rating: T - MA
URL/Name: [Optional]
Prompt: Fantasy AU. Sir Anthony (Tony to his friends) Stark is a wealthy and highly skilled blacksmith, genius elemental master, and knight-at-arms whose red and gold sentient suit, J.A.R.V.I.S., is the result of melding his smithing with elemental mastery (earth, air, fire, water, and spirit), and who works with Friday, a spirit of air he freed from abusive masters, who insists she is responsible for his safety since he saved her life. He’s particularly beloved of Loki, trickster god of fire, chaos, and stories, and Rescue, protective goddess of salvation/deliverance and justice, and has permission to carry their colors – dark green and black; and rose-gold and indigo – whenever he goes into battle. Hired by Baron Mordo of Banat to rescue a kidnapped neighboring princess imprisoned by a fierce dragon in a secluded, isolated tower high in the northern mountains, the brave knight is shocked to find neither dragon nor princess but instead a badly battered and bleeding sorcerer who somehow seems to recognize him and whose floating cape seems determined to beat Tony about the head and shoulders until he makes himself helpful. Though he’s not a healer, the knight is determined to stay and help the wounded sorcerer recover, if only to figure out why the Baron lied to him about a kidnapped princess in peril.
Bonus points if Tony calls on Rescue to help heal Dr. Strange and Loki to sow chaos when Baron Mordo resorts to hiring a band of Hydra assassins to kill both Strange and Stark. Extra bonus points if Dr. Strange as the dragon makes an appearance in the inevitable battle. Extra extra bonus points if Tony is wounded flinging himself between Stephen and a javelin or lance, so that Dr. Strange has to nurse Tony back to health, too, before they can go after Mordo. Writer’s choice on whether or not to include more MARVEL characters (such as Pietro, Wanda, Crossbones, etc., among the Hydra assassins).

Prompt: Time-travel fix-it. Out of fourteen million six hundred and five timelines, there is literally no way in which to truly win the war against Thanos, not from a starting point at Titan. Even if they win, they’ll end up losing, because the universe ultimately can’t survive without the Infinity Stones and the destruction of this universe will impact the universes closest to it and those in turn will take down others until, domino after domino, the multiverse falls. However, looking backwards along the pathways of what could have been, there are plenty of ways in which they could have won – some of them relatively easily, all things considered – but not unless either Steve Rogers didn’t come out of the ice until after Thanos was dealt with or else Dr. Stephen Strange gave up neurosurgery for the mystic arts at least four years (though the chances improve drastically if that increases to at least five years) prior to his devastating accident and the magic of Kaecilius permanently sealed before he could seduce others to his madness over Dormammu, so that Karl Mordo would remain a Master of the Mystic Arts and willingly fight in the war against Thanos. So. He lies. He lets (Tony) them think that there’s a way, desperately hoping his act of kindness will be recognized. And then, when the survivors think that it’s over, he takes the Time Stone and he uses it, essentially casting his consciousness back and back and back, as far as he has the strength to reach and still be sure he’ll be the victor, when his mind finds and melds with his younger self. He manages over six years (the younger him, shockingly enough, stops fighting after he learns what’s at stake, and, though it makes no sense, somehow the melding seems to make him magically stronger) and, though the Time Stone hasn’t traveled back with him, the knowledge he’s gained from its use does. He remembers everything. And he has enough more than enough time to meet the Ancient One – to convince her of why he came back (truly, there was no other way. He found Kamar-Taj far too late to save anyone, in the end) and why Kaecilius deserves to have his magic sealed, even if he hasn’t yet committed any overt crimes – and stop S.H.I.E.L.D. from finding Rogers. He even has time to introduce himself to Tony Stark before the man ever has reason to fear magic. If he plays his cards right, he could even help Tony discover the element that will save him from palladium poisoning without having to involve S.H.I.E.L.D. or Tony’s father. Tony Stark is (the brightest spirit he has ever seen) absolutely necessary for a world united and (mostly) unafraid of the enhanced and, thus, utterly crucial to the battle against Thanos. He needs to trust Stephen enough to work with him (he will gladly tell him everything he knows about the advances in technology and medicine and communications and everything he knows that he’s lived through or seen, so that he and Tony and other trusted scientists can help recreate it all as quickly as they can or Tony can search out and support the ones who can make it happen). He needs to separate himself from S.H.I.E.L.D. and, thus, from Hydra (Stephen will gladly help Tony drag both organizations kicking and screaming into the light, so that Hydra can finally be defeated and destroyed and the other can be stripped down and either reformed as S.W.O.R.D. as part of Stark Industries or else put to work as part of the support staff for the global Avengers Initiative). Accountability and transparency. The enhanced and the mutants and the Inhumans and those capable of creating and/or using technology that can essentially make them empowered will rise to the task, as long as it’s the Avengers Accords and it’s worldwide, under the umbrella of the UN. Tony needs to be allowed and encouraged to be himself – to be pushed into pushing the whole world towards a brighter, better future – and he needs to start working on the problem of pulling the world’s technology up by the bootstraps yesterday. They can do this – Tony’s version of a global Avengers Initiative can do this – and all Stephen has to do is be brave enough to tell the absolute truth, when Tony asks, and stubborn enough not to let Tony turn him away or to ever let ever let go again once Tony trusts him enough to offer his hand in alliance. Stephen has outstubborned Dormammu, by the Vishanti: Tony Stark will have to do far worse than simply kill him to make him give up.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story or are true: Infinity Stones are sentient enough to have favorites/chosen champions (obviously, the Time Stone has chosen and will chose Stephen. Writer’s choice who else gets chosen, though Tony is potentially a favorite of all of the Infinity Stones); Dr. Jane Foster is altered enough by her run-in with the Aether to be able to wield Mjölnir and so becomes Lady Thor (Thor can always ask the dwarves to make him Stormbreaker so that Jane can have Mjölnir, after all); Pepper Potts asks for the Rescue armor, at least for emergency use (and Tony can make her jewelry to disguise repulsor technology); Ultron actually gets a chance to become a suit of armor around the world as a learning AI (just like J.A.R.V.I.S. and F.R.I.D.A.Y. and all of the other Tony Stark AIs), even if it means that Stephen has to figure out how to banish the malevolent sentience attached to the Scepter to the Dark Dimension the moment it tries to get out of the Scepter; Bucky Barnes doesn’t understand why or how Tony Stark would ever be able to forgive him, much less understand why he wants to help him, but he will gladly die before he ever lets anyone hurt Tony; the Maximoffs actually think that they are joining S.H.I.E.L.D. because they’ve learned that the “bomb” that killed their parents was actually the result of an airplane brought down by Hydra and Wanda and Pietro rebel the instant that Wanda learns the truth; Vision doesn’t require any Stark AI to sacrifice himself or herself to come about; the Ant-Man gang ends up being Team Tony; and Tony tends to accidentally semi-adopt kids and be adopted by kids as their “uncle” or as a father figure a lot.

Yet another amazing prompt written by the same anonymous submitter as the last few posts! (if this is you and you want credit let me know). It's really well thought out so give it a read!
(Writer's choice)
Universe: AU
Pairing(s) and/or Major Character(s): Tony Stark/Stephen Strange
Assumed Rating: T - MA
URL/Name: [Optional]
Prompt: AU twist on Beauty and the Beast. Cursed by a witch known as the Ancient One (for dismissing her wound as trivial and uninteresting and ordering her to stop wasting his time and go to the town healer, instead, when she showed up at his castle one dark and stormy night, begging for shelter and aid) and transformed into a monstrous beast, Dr. Stephen Strange spends most of his days brooding in his castle and snapping at the irrepressible Cloak of Levitation, until one day a lost traveler trespasses on his domain (writer’s choice whether this is Howard Stark or Edwin Jarvis). When young Anthony Stark shows up two days later demanding that his father be freed, a bargain is struck whereby Anthony (or Tony to his family and friends) promises to spend a year and a day in the beast’s castle, so long as his father goes free. The beast – who claims that his name is Strange – is prickly and hot-tempered, but his library is vast and Tony is shocked to discover that Strange is both clever and erudite. They spend hours upon hours talking, growing closer as the days pass, and, to his shock, Tony finds that he no longer looks forward to their time together ending . . .
Writer’s choice whether this is more DISNEY (in which case, perhaps Steve Rogers is Gaston and either Sam or Bucky is LeFau?) or traditional (in which case, perhaps Friday and JARVIS are Tony’s siblings and he’s given permission to leave for a wedding between Friday and Amadeus Cho or Jarvis and Pepper?), but I would love to see Tony creating his armor with Beast’s help.

Prompt: Time-travel fix-it. Dr. Strange’s only (“no other”) way involves letting things unfold until Tony Stark has sacrificed his life to defeat Thanos and reverse the Snap and then purposely using the Time Stone to prevent (or at least vastly improve upon) most of the canon timeline from approximately the point where Loki attempts suicide via falling from the broken remains of the Bifrost. Stephen Strange “wakes up” on Earth the day before Loki’s fall with all of his future memories (including all of the fourteen million six hundred and five alternate timelines viewed on Titan) intact and it’s up to him to ensure that the one way he’s seen to actually successfully win the war against Thanos (and not just scrape out a pyrrhic victory after the fact) truly does work, which means that it’s up to him to get Tony Stark away from the toxic environment of the Avengers before any irreparable harm can be done, starting by rescuing Loki and convincing him to help, so that Tony has an actual functional team in place capable of dealing with whoever Thanos sends to Earth in Loki’s place without it resulting in major loss of life and the fate of the world is never in the hands of SHIELDRA, so that the world can then actually rally around its heroes and start preparing for the coming war with the Mad Titan, hopefully soon enough to keep Thanos from getting his hands on the infinity stones and laying waste to half the universe again.
Bonus points if the following all happen in some form in the story: SHIELD is so busy fighting against Hydra (with help from Captain America) that it’s mainly up to Dr. Strange, Loki, Tony, and Tony’s people (Rhodey and other recruits, including Dr. Bruce Banner and Dr. Jane Foster) to save the world against Thanos’ first incursion with the Chitauri; the scientists figure out a way both to defuse Extremis and to come up with varying strengths of it that work; Pepper volunteers to become Rescue after she learns about what is coming; Harley keeps in touch with Tony and is not only promised a suit of his own when he’s of age but allowed to start training with his suit once he turns sixteen; at least some individuals who were Avengers in the canon timeline act like reasonable adults instead of self-centered, power-tripping idiots and step up to help protect the world and the universe instead of constantly pettily trying to manipulate and/or tear Tony down (bonus points if not only Sam Wilson but also Riley – who is still alive at this point – are both successfully recruited); Tony Stark’s AIs are all crucial for defending the world and the universe; we get both a functional SHIELD and a SWORD to help defend the Earth; Thaddeus Ross ends up in jail long before anyone tries to make him Secretary of State; Betty Ross shows up to help with the brilliant sciencing going on (and Darcy is one of the resident genius-wranglers); Tony finds out about Hydra having sent the Winter Soldier (James “Bucky” Barnes) to murder his parents from people who true care about him, in a controlled and safe environment (writer’s choice if this Steve does anything that needs to be forgiven or if he’s just a charismatic but hot-tempered hypocrite who needs to learn that supposedly hating bullies doesn’t mean that he, himself, can’t be capable of being a bully, too); infinity stones aren’t just shipped off to random places/people in hopes that this means they’ll be safe; Thor learns how to grow up without it involving the destruction of Asgard and the deaths of both of his parents; Frigga finally grows enough of a backbone to not only put her foot down and take the throne (since Odin clearly is an incompetent tyrant) but deals with Hela before she can destroy Asgard (writers choice on how this goes, but I would love to see Hela redeemed. Odin f*cked her over even worse than he did Loki, after all); the whole SHIELD vs. Hydra thing means that Hank Pym has to get his head out of his a*s about the Starks and so he backs Hope and Scott when they decide to join forces with Tony and his people (writer’s choice if the whole thing with Darren Cross/Yellowjacket happens in some form or not); good PR means there are a lot more recruits heading to Kamar-Taj and that the whole mess with Kaecilius is stopped before Dormammu becomes an issue and before the Ancient One can be killed; the Avengers Initiative truly becomes global and most of the mess with the Inhumans (from Agents of SHIELD) is largely prevented since they’ve been willingly recruited for the fight against Thanos (writer’s choice if the X-Men and/or other mutants show up to help, once the world knows that the Mad Titan is coming and that he intends to wipe out at least half of all life in the universe. Also writer’s choice if there’s some other kind of Accords or not prompted by Tony and the UN working together); the Convergence still happens but with far fewer casualties since people are working together and Odin is no longer King of Asgard and Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 essentially still happen, but the Power Stone and Reality aren’t left somewhere Thanos can easily get his hands on them. Writer’s choice if the stones all end up on Earth except Soul or if Time and Space are somehow used to hide Power and Reality. Writer’s choice whether or not the Mind Stone ends up in Vision (because Tony and his science family deliberately sets out to make Vision, to make the Mind Stone safer), but bonus points if all of Tony Stark’s AI’s live (perhaps Friday should go to Rescue and to handling a lot of the
Stark Industries workload while JARVIS stays with Iron Man?) and extra bonus points if Ultron and Jocasta and Tadashi (perhaps Tadashi or Jocasta is Harley’s AI?), as well as JARVIS, Friday, Veronica, and Peter Parker’s Karen all end up being vital to saving both Earth and the universe from Thanos. Extra extra bonus points if Peter Parker doesn’t end up being traumatized by having a building dropped on him while he’s not in his suit at any point. Writers choice how Wakanda is dealt with, period, though I would really love to see Shuri sciencing with Peter and Harley and Helen Cho’s son, Amadeus. Writers choice what happens with the other Winter Soldiers (though I would love to see the brain gang come up with a way to deactivate Howard’s stolen super soldier serum, so that they can be safely put on trial and imprisoned for their crimes). Extra extra bonus points if Loki and Dr. Strange end up having to turn Wanda’s powers back on her and Pietro (because Hydra figures out how to experiment on them even without physically having the scepter) and this results in the kind of genuine change of heart that means they would truly be worthy of fighting for the Earth and the universe.

Prompt: Time-travel fix-it (of sorts). Dr. Strange has such a bad feeling about Thor and Loki being on Earth that he open the Eye of Agamotto to make sure that nothing disastrous (like another alien invasion) happens. He sees Hela manifesting on Earth once Odin dies and the spells keeping her imprisoned finally irrevocably break. To his shock, she not only claims that she is Odin’s firstborn and that Odin stole her birthright, but that he also stole her child from her . . . Loki, who was born mostly Jötunn (which she later explains is  not surprising, given that Odin’s mother was half Frost Giant and that Loki’s father was Laufey) and female. Hela furthermore claims that a Midgardian Sorcerer known as Strange freed her spirit from her body so that she could pass beyond Odin’s prison and watch her child grow, and that, if not for the fact that most of the universe does not deserve what the Mad Titan will do to it and that she has already sworn vengeance upon Thanos and his children and followers for the pain and suffering that they have inflicted upon her child, it would serve Odin’s shade right if she allowed Asgard to be destroyed in the war that is coming. Hela has seen where the infinity stones are and that Thanos seeks them so that half the life in the universe can be destroyed in an instant, and she swears that she will see the Mad Titan dead before she allows him to harm her child again . . . and that she intends to gather the stones herself, to set a trap for Thanos and his children that they won’t be able to resist. When Thor tries to attack her, she snarls that he is a petty, self-centered, bully of a child who is not worthy of Asgard’s throne, takes Mjölnir, and knocks him unconscious with a single blow. She then forces the Bifrost to her will to bring to her the Tesseract (and the Space Stone), the Aether (Reality), and the Power Stone. Shocked, Dr. Strange then uses the Time Stone to look backwards in time and watch while Odin literally snatches Hela up from her bed after giving birth to Loki to lock her away, for the crime of caring more about her Jötunn husband than her orders to keep the Frost Giants in line (since she stole back the Casket of Ancient Winters, to try to help heal Jötunheim, after being forced by Odin to marry Laufey to seal the peace between their people), swearing he will imprison her forever for her treachery and that her child’s life will be forfeit for her betrayal . . . and watches himself portal into her prison and essentially do as the Ancient One did to him, to teach her how to astral project and so at least partially escape her prison (which means, of course, that he has to use the Time Stone to actually go and do that, or else the paradox will rip the universe apart). Meanwhile, a concerned Friday contacts Tony Stark, who’s at The Hague on Accords matters for the UN, to tell him that a lot of Bifrost activity is going on up in Norway, prompting him to fly up to see what’s going on . . .
Bonus points if the following all happen in some form in the story: Tony (who’s been pretty sure that whoever gave Loki the Scepter with the Mind Stone forced him to lead the invasion and that Loki botched it on purpose since roughly the day after, when the got to look at the footage and noticed Loki’s eyes changing from vividly intense blue to a soft blue-green) arrives in Norway, takes one look at Loki sobbing his heart out on Hela’s shoulder, and promptly demands that she let go of the adopted Asgardian, because he might be a bag of cats, but he’s Thor’s bag of cats; Hela, who has been watching more than just Loki (and the Mad Titan) in her thousand plus years of captivity, is both amused and pleased by the fiercely protective Midgardian and his clever armor and declares that she approves of this one, that she has seen his struggles to protect his world and will permit him to join her cause; Iðunn’s golden apples are actually a thing (even if they are mainly used only as rewards for worthy allies, since their magic has long since been encoded in all Asgardians at the genetic level) and Hela insists that Tony has earned several of them (and they react with Extremis and the remnants from the first arc reactors and the newest one powering the bleeding edge armor in . . . interesting ways, which includes making him something of a technopath and boosting his ability to learn how to do magic); Hela is instantly fascinated with Pepper Potts upon their first meeting (and she also earns at least one golden apple, by volunteering to become Rescue and fight during the battle against Thanos immediately upon hearing about him); Dr. Strange’s use of the Time Stone to view the possible futures (to see whether or not Hela’s idea to gather as many of the Infinity Stone as possible, to lure Thanos into a trap, has any chance at all of working) means he falls desperately in love with Tony and would kill anyone who so much as looks at either Tony or Loki cross-eyed; Frost Giants typically shift shape and gender all throughout childhood and adolescence and only “settle” on a chosen gender (though sone never do settle) after reaching full maturity, so it’s entirely normal for Loki to shift both shape and gender (I would love it if Lady Loki is based on a very green-eyed Eva Green); everyone eventually realizes that Loki’s natural eye color is actually green and the Scepter/Mind Stone was being used by Thanos as a sort of mental leash (hence, his blue eyes in The Avengers) and no one can really legally protest him being on Earth and working with Tony and Dr. Strange against Thanos since mind-control is involved (though, on account of those who try to complain, the truth about Wanda’s mental rape of Tony – which led, in part, to the malevolent sentience that called itself Ultron escaping the Scepter – and of Bruce Banner/the Hulk, which led to the battle in Johannesburg, publicly comes out, as do the terrible circumstances surrounding Tony learning that the Winter Soldier killed his parents, leading to a widespread public backlash against Wanda for deliberately using her powers to mentally torture others and against Captain America for having deliberately lied to Tony about what happened to his parents and abandoned him in a broken Hydra bunker after beating him half to death and nearly taking his head off with his shield, when he found out the truth anyway. Writer’s choice whether this leads to increased distrust and backlash against Wakanda, for sheltering the Rogues, especially against T’Challa, for abandoning Iron Man on Captain America’s word, even though “leave no man behind” isn’t just a US military rule [read: Article 4 of the Geneva Convention]); magic and science working together can safely remove the Time Stone from Vision but it means that Vision reverts to J.A.R.V.I.S.; Tony uses astral projection to have enough time to create new/safe containers for the Aether, Mind Stone, and Power Stone (based on his creation of Badassium/synthetic vibranium); J.A.R.V.I.S. sacrifices himself for the Soul Stone (but he’s left a backup, so
the death doesn’t stick); it turns out that the Soul Stone likes Tony and will do whatever he wants, because his AIs all have souls and the Soul Stone is thrilled that Tony can make souls; Odin imprisoned Hela because he was afraid she would depose him, since she knew he was a tyrant and her time on an obviously dying Jötunheim taught her compassion and regret her for past actions (he decided to keep Loki, rather than kill the child, after he saw that the child was a boy – Loki having shifted to a form and gender most likely to find favor in his captor’s eyes – so that he could manipulate him into becoming the perfect Asgardian puppet ruler for Jötunheim that Hela failed to be); Thor is so thoroughly appalled by what his father has done (and what Frigga kept a secret) that he begs for a task to prove his worthiness . . . and gets sent to recruit Hulk and Valkyrie, which means he truly earns Mjölnir back; stealing the Power Stone means that Thanos isn’t all that immediately interested in destroying Xandar and/or the Nova Empire, but it does catch the attention of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Nebula, who set out for Earth to find out what’s going on; Hela teaches Wanda some manners . . . and just how stupid she’s been to blame Tony Stark for the deaths of her parents and her brother and every other bad thing that’s ever happened in her life (writer’s choice how this goes, but I’d like it if Wanda learns how to actually regret her past actions and if she actually tries to make up for them instead of just saying that she’s an Avenger now and that this somehow automatically makes her good); Hela decides to evacuate Asgard and raise the dead to engage Thanos and his army on Asgard, so that the battle won’t destroy Earth (writer’s choice if this means that Ragnarök happens or not, but it’d be nice if some of the less hidebound Asgardians and the various aliens rescued from Sakaar establish a city or trading post on Earth even if part or all of Asgard ultimately survives), but agrees to use the Tesseract/Space Stone and the Bifrost to bring the heroes of Earth and many of its sorcerers to Asgard, to join the final battle; the Infinity Stones each choose a champion to protect them individually (and, in some cases, to use them individually) against Thanos and his children and followers (writer’s choice which goes to whom, aside from Soul to Tony Stark and Time to Stephen Strange, though I would like Mind to stay with J.A.R.V.I.S. and Space to go to either Loki or Hela); and, eventually, putting the Mind Stone back in J.A.R.V.I.S. turns him back into Vision again, but J.A.R.V.I.S. is smart enough to have made an external backup, so that “Sir” does NOT end up losing him after all. Extra bonus points if Harley Keener gets his own armor for the fight and if Stormbreaker is still created but ultimately has to be used by Hela to cut off Thanos’ head. Extra extra bonus points if maybe in the afterword several years have passed and either Loki is carrying twins or has given birth to twins (one by Tony Stark and one by Stephen Strange) and people are celebrating (maybe it can be a baby shower or an Asgardian version of a christening???).

Here is a prompt written by the same amazingly talented anonymous submitter as the last few posts (if this is you and you want credit let me know). It's really well thought out so give it a read!
(Writer's choice)
Universe: AU/Canon
Pairing(s) and/or Major Character(s): Tony Stark/Pepper Potts; Tony Stark & James Rhodes; Tony Stark & Happy Hogan; Tony Stark & Pepper Potts; Rescue!Pepper Potts; Extremis!Pepper Potts; Extremis!Tony Stark; Tony Stark & J.A.R.V.I.S.; J.A.R.V.I.S. lives; Tony Stark & Ultron; Ultron wakes up when attacked and joins forces with J.A.R.V.I.S. to fight back; Tony Stark & F.R.I.D.A.Y.; Tony Stark & Harley Keener;
Natasha and Clint in particular are not at all happy with Steve); a backup of J.A.R.V.I.S. forms the basis of Vision but J.A.R.V.I.S. himself is just fine; between J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron and Tony, Novi Grad doesn’t get ripped out of the ground, the magical parasite is dealt with (without help from the murder twins or Steve) without causing a major disaster in Sokovia, and Thor decides that the best way to make amends with friend Anthony is to show that he absolutely trusts him . . . so he goes and fetches the Aether and makes a gift of it in recompense. Writer’s choice what happens from here but I’d love to see Tony tame the Reality Stone (and Loki decide that maybe the Tesseract would be safer on Midgard, after all, as a result).

When “training” in the use of her powers, Wanda Maximoff accidentally infiltrates the mind of Wolfgang von Strucker . . . and discovers the horrifying truth about her parents’ deaths: the “bomb” that fell on their house wasn’t a bomb at all, but rather part of a US plane (on the way to Kosovo) shot down by Hydra (on Strucker’s orders, as part of his efforts to keep the area destabilized and so allow Hydra a more effective base of operations), and the Stark “bomb” she and her brother stared at for three days, waiting for it to explode, never exploded because it was an unarmed missile from that plane. She and her brother have been working for the organization ultimately responsible for killing their parents and hating a man who truthfully had nothing to do with their loss (the missiles were never meant for them – were never even meant for Sokovia, even though the country was torn asunder by civil war – but rather for the genocidal madman slaughtering Albanians by the hundreds of thousands in Kosovo. Hydra shot down that plane. Hydra wanted Sokovia to remain at war. Hydra used her and brother, knowing that they were responsible for killing their parents). Grieving, infuriated, and ashamed of herself for hating Tony Stark for so many years, Wanda vows to make amends and to utterly eradicate the organization responsible for her parents’ deaths. With her brother’s help, she destroys the Hydra base, steals the Scepter, and sets out for the United States, determined to present the Scepter to Tony Stark as a gift and to beg for his forgiveness and his help, in the battle against Hydra.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story: Wanda and Pietro Maximoff assign themselves to Tony as bodyguards and are basically semi-adopted by him in turn (they aren’t kids, but they’re young and he knows what it feels like, to lose parents young and to be betrayed); no mind-rape means no blind panic about the end of the world, so Tony decides to let Ultron come online as a regular AI and teach him until he can trust him enough to be a suit of armor around the world (even if it takes years, since he can program sentience but not instant morality); because Tony knows more about what the Scepter can do, more precautions are taken with the Scepter, and the malevolent sentience doesn’t get the chance to hijack Ultron’s name or to kill/hijack Ultron or J.A.R.V.I.S., even if it does eventually get out; the escaping malevolent sentience from the Scepter (which Tony decides to call the malevolent magical parasite or MMP) eventually escapes via the internet and infiltrates Pym Technologies after being blocked from Stark Industries by Ultron and J.A.R.V.I.S, hijacking the Yellowjacket suit (killing Darren Cross in the process and assuming the name of Yellowjacket, even though Tony keeps calling him the MMP) and forcing Pym, Hope van Dyne, and Scott Lang to work with Tony and the Avengers to stop it from wreaking havoc across the globe, especially since MMP uses Yellowjacket to steal the Scepter back (and it’s all hands on deck, at that point, which means that Pepper immediately steps up and puts on the Rescue suit). Bonus points if, at some point, Wanda accidentally figures out what Steve is hiding about the Winter Soldier and immediately tells everyone (and everyone immediately agrees that Steve had no right to keep information about Tony’s parents being murdered from him like that, irregardless of Bucky’s brainwashing. Natasha especially is pissed, since Steve lied to her about having told Tony the truth). Extra bonus points if Cassie Lang and Barton’s kids all get introduced to Tony and immediately claim him as their honorary uncle. Extra, extra bonus points if J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron figure out how to create and use a sort of cobbled together version of their codes to stabilize the body that MMP’s trying to create man the Yellowjacket suit and a slightly more dragon-hearted version of Vision is the result (with no AI needing to be sacrificed in the process. And Wanda immediately falls head over heels in love with this kickass version of Vision). Extra, extra, extra bonus points if Wanda overhears enough about the Aether from Thor that she tells Tony and they sweettalk Thor into bringing the Aether to Earth for study and safekeeping, which results in F.R.I.D.A.Y. being brought online to help with all the work (and Loki decides that maybe the Tesseract would be safer on Midgard, after all, as a result).

Prompt: Canon fix-it. About two months or so before the opening of the Stark Expo, Tony and J.A.R.V.I.S. are running through what they think are some of the last possible combinations of elements to replace the palladium core that’s giving Tony heavy metal poisoning when Tony becomes discouraged enough to shout that they’ve tried everything, that nothing works, that there’s nothing left to try . . . and it occurs to J.A.R.V.I.S. that there’s at least one element they haven’t tried in any combination yet: vibranium, the extremely rare metal that Howard Stark mainly used to create Captain America’s shield. So he immediately points this out. And Tony angrily opens his mouth, pauses, thinks, and then goes hunting, both for information on the shield (Howard has it . . . somewhere. He found it on one of his Valkyrie hunts, didn’t he?). Two weeks later, he’s figured out six different entirely new elements based on what he’s figured out of the molecular structure of vibranium that computer trials say will work in the arc reactor, so he and J.A.R.V.I.S. decide to make samples of all six and pick the one that seems to have the highest, steadiest power output. When Stark Expo opens, Tony has got a whole new arc reactor (and is almost used to the constant phantom taste of coconut), plans for using at least two of the other six new elements in upcoming projects (based on a variety of observable properties. Wow. If he hadn’t made them himself, he might not believe they were all based on the same thing), and has decided to hand over the War Machine armor to Rhodey as a birthday present to himself. So he’s not at all amused by the obvious S.H.I.E.L.D. spy or the attempts to hack both his company and his AI. He was grateful enough for Coulson help, when the Agent helped protect Pepper against Stane, not to ask too many questions, but S.H.I.E.L.D. just keeps crossing lines and this kind of behavior is not acceptable. He’s responsible for the livelihoods of his employees (and J.A.R.V.I.S. is his brain child, not a computer to be turned off and on!). If Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. can’t understand that, well . . . maybe they need to be reminded who they’re dealing with.
Bonus points if the following all happen at some point in the story: Tony repulsors the needle out of Natashalie’s hand when she goes to stab him in the neck and the spy is actually honest enough to admit to herself that Tony’s played her the entire time, after she learns that he’s no longer suffering from palladium poisoning, having figured out how to cure himself without help from S.H.I.E.L.D. over a month previously; Tony and J.A.R.V.I.S. hack S.H.I.E.L.D. and uncover Hydra; S.H.I.E.L.D. is soon so busy dealing with the entire SHIELDRA fiasco and Hydra itself that it doesn’t have time to try to browbeat and gaslight Tony into working for them basically for free, much less financing the Avengers; Tony ends up revolutionizing a lot more fields (and/or a lot faster than he would’ve been about to, otherwise) because of all the time not having to deal with S.H.I.E.L.D. frees up, which means he meets and works with a lot more top tier scientists and doctors . . . including a certain snarky perfectionist neurosurgeon by the name of Stephen Strange, who is absolutely invaluable for helping make Extremis work without having to strip out most of what it was meant to do in the first place, when A.I.M. decides to rear its ugly head (Pepper is so angry at being used against Tony that she asks for a version of Extremis that will give her a fighting chance if someone tries to grab her again and she also asks for the Rescue armor, so she can be more proactive about protecting herself in an emergency); Tony ends up saving and accidentally recruiting a lot of enhanced individuals and unfortunates who’ve been experimented on (by S.H.I.E.L.D., by Hydra, by people like Thaddeus Ross) and forming his own group, who deal with Loki without most of the drama and damage (largely because Tony quickly realizes that the Scepter seems to be affecting Loki, too, which means that he’s not acting entirely of his own accord. He gets Loki what he needs to open a portal in the middle of the Mohave Desert and shoves a nuke up it before much more than a few dozen Chitauri warriors can get through), which gains him Thor’s undying gratitude for freeing his brother from Thanos’ enslavement and eventually leads to four of the Infinity Stones being left on Earth, following the Convergence (writer’s choice if Odin dies or not, but I would love for Loki to turn out to be Hela’s child and for Hela to choose to forego revenge against Odin and Asgard for vengeance against the Mad Titan, if Frigga ends up on the throne); Ultron never happens because Hydra never gets its hands on the Scepter; Tony’s Avengers ultimately end up defeating Thanos without having to suffer through a Snap; and Steve Rogers doesn’t even get found until a few years after Thanos is defeated, long after Bucky’s fully recovered from the Hydra brainwashing and joined Tony’s Avengers (they get him a good shrink, since it’s common knowledge he put that plane down on purpose – a suicide attempt, even if did save the US – and he ends up asking to go back to school instead of fighting and becomes an art and history double major).

Here is a lovely prompt submission by ka-binko! It's genius! Sorry it took me so long to look at my inbox!
When a superhero gets injured, the medical instinct is to give said superhero super drugs. In which people forget at the critical moment that Tony is human and he gets given steve or spideys super drugs.

Prompt: Time-travel fix-it. The only (“no other”) way to truly win the war against the Mad Titan involves letting things unfold until Tony Stark has sacrificed his life to defeat Thanos and reverse the Snap and then deliberately using the Time Stone to prevent (or at least improve upon/fix) most of the canon timeline from approximately the supposed “death” of Loki in Thor: The Dark World onwards. Dr. Strange “wakes up” on Earth with all of his future memories (including all of the fourteen million six hundred and five alternate timelines viewed on Titan) intact at the same time that the injured Loki awakens on Svartalfheim with all of his future memories intact. It’s up to them to work together to ensure that the one way Dr. Strange has seen to actually win the war against Thanos does, in fact, happen, which means that it’s up to them to get Tony Stark away from the toxic environment of the Avengers before any irreparable harm can be done (in other words, before Age of Ultron can unfold), while there’s still time to capitalize on the recent “alien” invasions and get the world united behind a team capable of stopping the Mad Titan in his tracks before Thanos can get his hands on the infinity stones and lay waste to half the universe.
Bonus points if the following all happen in some form in the story: Dr. Strange freezes Wanda Maximoff just as she’s about to mind-rape Tony for the first time; Dr. Strange and/or Loki use their magic to open up both Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff’s eyes, forcing them to come to terms with the fact that their lives have been a lie (that Tony Stark isn’t a villain and is, in fact, not only Earth’s but the universe’s single greatest hope in the war against Thanos; that they’ve let grief and hatred blind them; that they’ve willingly joined sides with the villains – namely, Hydra – actually responsible for the deaths of their parents and for decades of civil war and suffering and strife in their homeland; and that, in the first timeline, Wanda’s irrational hatred of Tony led her to subconsciously influence almost all of the other Avengers against him and, thus, largely caused the “Civil War” to spiral out of control, which in turn led to the Earth being largely unprepared when Thanos came) and to make the choice to truly try to change and to make up for all of the red in their ledgers; the other Avengers react like rational human beings capable of empathy/sympathy (or at least anger with the person actually at fault for having lied to and used them, too. A lie of omission is still a lie, after all) when faced with the fact that their supposed paragon of a leader, Captain America, has known for quite some time, now, that Tony’s parents were murdered not just by Hydra but by the Winter Soldier, who was once James “Bucky” Barnes, his best friend, and has been knowingly, deliberately using Tony’s money, tech, and resources to try to track down and “rescue” the Winter Soldier, instead of acting like Tony is a monster for grieving for his parents (especially his mother); Pepper chooses to become Rescue at least part-time or as a back-up for the major battles, when she learns of the true seriousness of the threat (writer’s choice if she ends up with Happy or not); Tony successfully goes recruiting globally; SHIELD either ends up being SWORD or else the numerous SHIELD personnel, agents, and family Tony managed to help save after the fiasco of the info dump form SWORD on their own in reaction; Dr. Strange’s good PR results in a lot more potential recruits for the sorcerers swelling their ranks and, thus, working with Tony and SWORD; Mordo doesn’t go bad (or is shown enough that he learns how to bend without breaking) and Kaecilius and his people are dealt with before the Ancient One is killed (if she must end in lightning and snow, it will be because of Thanos or because of something she has chosen to do, in the fight against Thanos); and Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 and Ant-Man can essentially happen as in the first timeline, but the Power Stone isn’t left somewhere Thanos can easily get his hands on it (ditto Reality). Writer’s choice if the stones all end up on Earth except Soul or if Time and Space are somehow used to hide Power and Reality. Writer’s choice whether or not the Mind Stone still ends up in Vision, but bonus points if ALL of Tony Stark’s AI’s live (perhaps Friday should go to Rescue and to handling a lot of the Stark Industries workload while J.A.R.V.I.S. stays with Iron Man and with the suit that Harley ends up getting?). Extra bonus points if Ultron and Jocasta and Tadashi, as well as Peter Parker’s Karen and Veronica, all end up being vital to saving both Earth and the universe from Thanos. Extra extra bonus points if Peter Parker doesn’t end up being traumatized by having a building dropped on him while he’s not in his suit at any point in large part because Harley saves his butt.
