Look, I KNOW it's not summer anymore, but when me and Emi started this collab it absolutely WAS.

You know how it is, things crop up unexpectedly, you get distracted by other art projects. The usual.

Anyhoo, back when it was hot and miserable out we both though "We should do some fun summer art." So I suggested Chicken game!

She posed everything out in Blender so we could both work on our halves at the same time using the Blender pose to make sure our pieces lined up properly and I did the background.

True teamwork!!

Decided to end the week by looping back to an inversion of the very first drawing I did.

I had a lot of fun doing all these, though I really pushed myself at the end to make sure I got everything done in time. Wew!

IT BEGINS

Kicking off the start of the week with something moody. Something a little edgy.

And a wee bit silly now too, because my friend felt the need to make this comment when I was showing off the sketch for feedback and now I can't disassociate the two.

Anyways, chose to put Laurie in the outfit Jamie Lee wore in a behind the scenes photo during the making of Halloween, but I tweaked it a little bit (mostly colour-wise) to better fit the composition of the photo, as it's original red colour drew the eye a bit too much. I think the paler colour fits the theme better.

Day 1: Pain Drew a symbolic piece, rather than a shippy or romantic one for this prompt, but I hope that's okay, given the nature of this ship! The next days probably won't be so gorey though, just thought it would fit this prompt!
