Sorry ill try answering it better. in my tournament I'm kinda using the term "coded" very loosely I'm kinda using like "hey do you think this character is trans?" Cause the name "characters that you think are tournament" is kinda long. But I do now realize that they are not interchangeable

And what I mean I by it wasn't up to me is that I said I was going to add everyone as long as they met the criteria so I kinda gave away my ability to dictate what character was allowed. And if it didn't was an odd number I was just going to put three characters against each other

I genuinely don't know if this tournament is supposed to be a joke or serious because there's so many characters in here that aren't coded in the slightest, and even a few where trans headcanons aren't even that common.

I just added the characters that people submitted it was not up to me who was in the tournament

the only requirement was that they weren't real people and they weren't canonically trans people can have whatever hc they want for the characters it's not up to me

Wow that anon is big mad lol. I actually love the pitting two bad bitches against each other strategy because it's really nail-biting from the first round even. Most of these poll competitions are 'character that is THE tumblr blorbo vs. Some Guy you don't know' like obviously the more known guy wins. By pitting two beloved characters from the same media against the other it not only makes the stakes high for people who love them both (like choosing between your own children 😭) it makes for a more interesting line up down the line. And by doing it this way, everyone whose in, say, the One Piece fandom but no other fandoms still has a chance to play! At least for 2 or 3 rounds.

Who will win? Will it be decisive or split down the middle? Only time will tell...

your seeding on your tournament whatever sucks

like you're pitting a lot of characters together in round 1 that should def not be until way later in the game and almost entirely only pinning characters from the same media against each other and it makes for a shit lineup and your tournament is gonna be heavily skewed and either frustrating or boring for everyone involved.

I originally wasn't going to put some of the characters against each other in the way that I did but I asked the voters what they wanted and they said to put them against each other so I did. Also, I put characters from the same media to give them a chance like let's say I put Gomez against Bill s preston esquire, Gomez would win immediately cause he's more popular/known so I wanted to give some of the characters a fighting chance
