In Vaulted Halls, Emtombed by Augustsea

Silco takes Viktor in when he's a little older than in Devotions; lots of protective vibes and siblinghood with Powder. It's pretty much canon-Sil. While I am ehhh about Jayce being a cop, the author weaves a good story!!

The Guest by awkwardapologetic

modern sil-adopts-viktor oneshot, so sweet. Vik is grown up in this one. Soft dad Sil.

Decisions Are Happening Dinner by Lil_Munchkin

Vampire / Werewolf high-fantasy AU. I'm v picky with high-fantasy AUs but I think this one is so well done. Sil took Viktor in when he's a bit older than Devotions, and the relationship is a lot more fraught / toxic. Wonderful character study (I feel). Also i adore protective sister Powder!!! Rife with betrayal etc.

So This Is Love by hauntedhouses

some parts of this is OOC but honestly, i don't care because ;A; protective Sil. Read with fairy-tale expectations! A lovely story.

Crystals and Cogs by WanderingAether

age-different AU, where Vik and Powder are similar ages and both adopted by Sil. I personally feel differently about how Sil would react to various events in this story but that doesn't take away from enjoyment. love love love the family exploration. I think sil is closer to Powder here?

Supernatural is very quotable, but unfortunately the best lines are “you gotta go be gay for that poor dead intern” and “freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it.”

They encompass the full spectrum of the show from a complex interrogation of religion and free will to satirical borderline homophobic comedy.

I think if you try to wiggle out of getting your dog vaccinated for rabies due to your own anti-vax beliefs, you should be forced to watch footage of a dog succumbing to rabies and the pathological process of taking brain tissue from a suspected canine rabies victim. I really think treating these people with kid gloves is not working and they need to viscerally see what the consequences of their actions can be.

Literally guffawed at this photo when I opened insta earlier cause it’s so the epitome of the fandom view of what was happening in like 2015. Misha collins, strangling Jared with Big Gay™️ while Jensen stands to the side and looks as masculine and stoic as possible. Supernatural is the experience of all time. It’s the 5D chess of TV. It will be another 10 years yet before we start getting one tell-all book after another from the cast and can put together a by the minute explanation behind every insane moment in the finale.
