Okay but while the Baudelaires (and the readers/viewers) are forced to determine who’s Frank and who’s Ernest by observing the good/evil traits in their behavior, Frank is actually the rude one. It’s as their names suggest, “frank” is honest, but matter-of-fact honest. “Earnest” is honest, but with underlying emotion. Ernest is the more emotional one of the brothers (not counting Dewey here), always with a smile, always using emphasis and relying on empathy. So unless you know which triplet is which, you will never guess Ernest is the evil one simply because he acts much nicer than Frank and because he lures you in with his charm.

ind., private ERNEST DENOUEMENT of A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, book & hc based. Like if you’re interested in interacting. Do not, under any circumstances, confuse with Frank.

TREACHEROUSTWIN — an utterly unreliable blog for Ernest Denouement (who should under no circumstances be confused with Frank)  of A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS. Book and headcanon based, selectively show-influenced. The contents of this blog can be dreadful, unnerving and triggering, a word which here means ‘dreadful and unnerving’. Look away.
