Thank you to everyone who left their opinion on when should Treebarkweek2025 take place.

Based on this, we will determine an announcement in early June, so everyone will have a month to prepare and post when the week starts in July!

We are aware of the concerns about ArtFight happening in July as well, so potentially this whole schedule might be shifted a week earlier as to have an announcement on the last days of May, and have the actual event be between the ending of June and just the first few days of July.

So may the months fly by! And be ready.

You heard that right, the RTZ: A Rendog Zine Contributor Applications are now open, and accepting both artists and writers!

The applications form will be open from today, Aprill 11th, to April 27th. Then, invites will be sent out to the selected contributors on May 2nd! You can apply separately as an artist and a writer, but will be selected only to contribute under one of the two roles. Additionally, if you're an artist, you can also apply to be the cover artist for the zine!

And if you're good at working in a short time frame, why not apply to be a pitch-hitter? In case a contributor has to call it quits unexpectedly, you'll be the one tasked to swoop in and make a piece instead!

So why not give it a shot? If you're an artist or a writer, apply here now!

Hello everyone!

Since Treebark won the trafficshipping tournament, we're planning the fifth Treebarkweek edition for this year, 2025, for the latter half of the year.

So! If you're interested in yet another event in the beautiful Treebark year of 2025, we've got a question for you:

When will the next treebark week be?

Hello!

We’re effectively trying to gauge this since we don’t want it to overlap— or overlap much— with events that center around Ren and Martyn. Currently there’s InTheLittleZine running, and there’s an announced RenTheZine or Rendog Zine that is to release in the second week of October.

We also have to consider an extra month for announcing the prompts and anything else regarding the event. Most likely we’ll be running an interest check soon and a poll about the dates, but we might have to push it for after the first half of October. Will depend on what the polls say!

Gigapup is going to be sleeping for a while still, but here in RTZ— or RenTheZine: A Rendog Zine— we'll have the schedules for this project ready on March 11th!

Keep your eyes peeled for dates and information coming next month, and applications opening in April!
