Been a while since I offered an update on my website, tri4ge(dot)icu! Here's a post on what's going on with it:

Those who know my personal accounts know that I've been working on redoing my personal site as of late, and before that, I became very burnt out on coding. But since I've started coding again, I've been able to learn a lot of new techniques that I think would benefit my art site!

The thing is, this would probably require me to rebuild the website from the ground up- I may be able to salvage parts of it, but the entire structures of the website have to be rebuilt from scratch. It's an inherently flawed website, and editing it to fit my current skills would honestly be more work than it would be to just remake it.

However, I'm wondering if I should release the 1.0 layout of the website as it is to have something to show for the work I've already put into it, or if I should just push it's release back until I can rebuild it.

I want to be able to put out something that I'm both proud of AND is fun to navigate, while also being realistic and realize that a website of this magnitude will be a work-in-progress for a long time, and that the first version doesn't have to be perfect.

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this if you have any on the matter. Regardless, if you've been wondering why my site is still just a splash page that says "coming soon" on it, I haven't forgotten about it, don't worry! I just need to figure out what to do next.

Weighing out all my troubles is my absolute last resort option, but I really need some support.

There's not much i can say here that isn't said above, but this past few months I've repeatedly hit my absolute limit on what I can handle from living with my family. I'm both physically and mentally disabled (DID + fibro/CFS + others, if any of that matters) largely from their actions during my childhood, and needless to say, they don't offer much of a support network for me. I've been routinely exploited for their own benefit on multiple levels recently, and this accompanied further complex trauma processing has made my health decline. The only thing preventing me from reaching independence, besides disability and the hellish roadblock that is the SSI process, is the lack of support. Even if this isn't something I'm able to pursue immediately, just being able to build my savings and work towards this goal would be a huge feat for me. Thank you to anyone who considers helping me out in any way!

On the note of commissions: only pixel-type slots are open, as non-pixel work has been straining to my health the past month ( requires more hours sitting up straight using a tablet). Please also keep in mind that said chronic illness will affect the turnaround times. As always though, updates can be viewed on my Trello (linked in the TOS above).

it has been so so hot in my house the past few days and we dont have an A/C yet (we're getting one on Monday) and its making it miserable to do much of anything at all, since as a part of my disability I am heat intolerant, so commissions will be slightly delayed... we set up a fan in our window for now and hopefully i can get back to working on them tomorrow since it'll be a little cooler... sorry again T_T

Israel cuts Gaza's final internet line, plunging it into total communication blackout.

Israel bombed the last main fibre route in Gaza, which means that as of June 12, all internet and fixed-line communication services are now completely cut off, further isolating Gaza amidst an ongoing genocide.

I am seeing more and more calls from inside of Gaza for help with eSims as that is currently the only way they can connect internally and with the outside world.
