Hello author, I do not know whether you're still writing for 'The Hobbit' but I have a request. Could you kindly craft a Thranduil x Reader fic where the reader is close to death and he's like, "Please don't leave me, my love, not you too." (my love is in elvish, I couldn't find the translation) (Also, she's his 2nd wife.) She doesn't die, hopefully.

You clasped a fist on your chest tying to catch your breath, every inhale becoming more painful second by second "it burns" you tried to scream but only a rushed whisper came out your mouth. You grasped as you felt a stronger pinch in your heart, your chest waving with each breath you tried to take. A moan left your lips as you felt a hand on your back suddenly "wh-" "it's me meleth nin" spoke Thranduil as calmly as he could, fighting his fear and worry back "what happened?" he asked hurriedly, the expression on his face matching your agonizing one "it burns me" you cried out, not even sparing a look to his eyes, that were so hopelessly searching for a physical injury. "Where?" He asked raising his voice "inside me, as if fire replaced my soul," you grasped again as you tried to take off your armor. He helped you move it aside before he saw for himself the damage of the dragon fire on your skin, the fire that didn't bend the elve's new-found metal but burned your skin and got trapped inside your body. Your tears fell from your eyes as thranduil took in your state, a skin red as blood, adorned by a golden dust shining like diamonds under the dawn's last sunlight on the top of erebor. It was known by most and especially thranduil the serpent's of the north wrath and ruin "you shouldn't have been here! I shouldn't have left you alone! This is all my fault, all my fault! I was a fool by overestimating my power, believing I could defeat them! Fight all of them as if I didn't know that they would eventually reach you too! As if I hadn't been myself destroyed by their flames before!--" He screamed over and over mostly to himself, as if he didn't believe it as if he didn't want to believe what was happening right before his very eyes " I I-" you tried to mutter a few words but you couldn't, your breath getting shorter by the minute, you grasped for air until your eyes rolled back in your eye sockets " no no no no no , I can't lose you y/n! No I can't! No please I can't lose you too" he screamed as he picked your weak form in his arms, your face lying on his right forearm "please help me" you spoke softly this time, as if the pain was leaving your body, as if his touch was magically taking your pain away "now now look my darling, look at the sun, look how it's hiding behind the mountains, look how beautiful the lake looks under the yellow light" he spoke to you as if both yours and his life depended on it "soon enough they'll come meleth nin, help will come"  he said as he hugged you closer the cold metal of his armor touching your bloodstained cheek as the long gray fabric of his cape covered your legs. You closed your eyes Taking in breath after breath. "They are here!" You heard Thranduil exclaiming over you "y/n they are here! The eagles are here!" You opened your eyes as you took in the picture of the big birds "you're safe now y/n, we're safe" he cheered, tears slowly sliding down his face "let's go".

" You have to let him know y/n!" Galadriel spoke while braiding your hair , as the clear water run it's way down the river by your legs.

" I know Galadriel I do know " you said looking down to your lap .

" then what's stopping you ? You both love each other with your whole hearts and besides you are getting married in a few weeks, there is no reason keeping it a secret from him " she smiled down to you petting your head " ready !" She said finishing the last braid.

" Thank you Galadriel!" You hugged her and she hugged you back .

" Hurry up , you are going to be late again!" Said your bestfriend of 2.560 years as she lifted you up from the ground, smoothing out the fabric of your skirt and removing the dead leaves from it .

You rushed your way to the place Thranduil told you to wait for him and looked around to the beautiful view in front of you .

The forests of Mirkwood circled the spot making it more isolated as the sunlight shined over the water of the fountains around you .

A pair of hands closed your eyes and you were sure who was hiding behind them .

" Thranduil " you called laughing a bit at his childish behavior.

He dropped his hands wrapping them around your waist before he came to rest his head on your shoulder.

" Good morning my queen" he said and you smiled at the name

" Good morning my king " you said as you grinned, playing along with his little game .

" I missed you " he said kissing the side of your neck and then down to the skin of your exposed shoulder.

" I missed you too " you inhaled deeply .

" can't wait to make you mine officially" he said playfully hugging you tighter .

This was a side of him only you could see , his kind , sweet & loving self , deeped in his playfull and sometimes childish nature .

" I have to tell you something " you said as you felt him holding back a breath

" oh , what is it love ? You know you can tell me anything " he said a little mix of fear & curiosity overwhelming him obviously.

Even though you could not see his face from this angle you were sure his eyebrows would be sharper than ever and the blue of his eyes would shine like the white gem of the archestone .

"I - I'm " you took a deep breath looking around to calm down a bit

" Yes ? You are ?" He said too impatient to wait

" I am pregnant " you said in one single sentence as fear overtook you .

You didn't know how he would react , you were both young and never spoke of having kids .

Sure an hier would be useful but not now probably, there was no marriage bonding you yet .

You felt him letting go of you as the last word left your mouth and your heart dropped for a moment.

" What did you say ?" He asked again

" I- I'm pregnant " you repeated as you felt him moving behind you

" I'm going to be a father ?!" He asked moving to your sight

" Yes " you told him still confused of how he took it

"Oh my! I'm going to be a father! " he said again jumping like crazy up and down .

" Dont you think its inappropriate for a king to jump up & down like a crazy elf?" You told him jokingly

" I don't care ! Come here !" He said , coming himself to you and hugging you

" I can't believe my ears & eyes y/n !! We are going to be parents ! I'm so grateful to have with me thank you !" He told you , holding you close as you nuzzled your head in his strong torso , hugging him back .

" we should think of a name " you said

"But we don't know the gender " he stated making you think again

" Legolas if it's a boy " you said

" Telpëriel if it's a girl " he completed

" beautiful " said both of you in an instant before bursting out laughing .

No matter if it was a boy or a girl , you would be happy.

You had each other and that was all that mattered .

You happy enjoying small moments with him , like this by the river .

And even if dark days came by in the future , you were sure your love would be stronger.

" I love you " he said wrapping himself stronger around you , making sure the cold cannot reach you as his long cloak covered you .

" I love you too " you said , closing your eyes and breathing in the aroma of his cologne and the smell of the forest .

Its was late at night when Bilbo , your older brother arrived at home .

You had already prepared a tasty meal for you both and you've just started eating when you heard a knock on the door .

" I'm getting this" you told your brother moving to the main entrance to open the door , wondering who it may be at this hour .

" Dwalin " said a man a little taller than you , he wasn't a Hobbit ... no absolutely no , he seemed like a dwarf but what is he doing in your doorstep ?

" At your services !" He said trying to ease your confusion only to make it bigger.

" Hmm , Y/N Baggins " you introduced yourself wrapping the robe around your body tighter .

"Do we know each other ?" You asked as he entered your home making you more curious that you've already been .

" No " he said moving on the inside .

" Excuse me sir" you said but got no response.

" Is it down here ?" He asked moving to the kitchen

"What?"

" Supper " he answered " oh there it is !" He spoke sitting on the chair before your brother .

" Y/n who is this man?" Bilbo asked clearly irritated

" sir who are you and what are you doing in our house ?"

"There will be food he said !" The dwarf spoke with a full mouth been halfway in your meal .

"He said? Who is he?" Bilbo said sharing the same confused as you did .

The dwarf man ate all of the food served on the table in an instant " is there more?" He asked bored

" oh we are sorry but we didn't wait for more guests tonight" Bilbo talk to the man while serving him some of the cheese muffins you made this morning.

The doorbell rang gaining your attention again hoping you misheard it .

Guests were not that welcomed in your home , not because of you but because of your brother .

You enjoyed having friends over but he never approved of too much people too often, so you rarely had any company along with you .

Opening the door for the second time this night you came in contact with a white beard man

"Balin ! At your services my lady " he said as he bowed his head towards you .

" Good evening " you greeted him with light amusement

" Yes yes it is " he spoke looking at the full moon " I think I've come a bit late , am I late ?" He asks entering your house himself

" Late for what ?" Bilbo asks moving towards the shorter man

" Oh ! Evening brother !" He calls the dwarf named Dwalin leaving both you and Bilbo shooked

Both men hug and laugh as they spoke to each other and there is Bilbo that takes the courage first to speak .

" Excuse me , hate to interrupt but I'm 100% sure that you are in the wrong house , you're here , and it's not that I dont like visitors but I do like to know them before they come as visitors . The thing is that I dont know either of you not in the slightest , I dont mean to be blunt , but I had to speak my mind , I'm sorry . " Bilbo talks to both of them but they seem rather busy searching around your cellar while eating the cheeses , beers and hams your brother bought this week .

You can say your brother is already pissed of by they way he looks at them but still his manners don't let him be rude to them .

"Apology accepted " the older dwarf calls before the doorbell rings for the third time tonight.

" I'm getting it !" You call without the slightest form of amusement this time and when you open the door you find two dwarves this time .

Not bothering to look at them you just stand there

" Fili and Kili , at your services!" They bow their heads down and the only thought that comes to your mind is beautiful.

You look up to the guy on your right side , rather tall for a dwarf you think as you get yourself ready to respond

" You must be miss Baggins " Calls the taller male throwing a bright smile to you and you call only return the pleasure with a wide one of yours .

" Yes she is indeed but you can't come in , you came to the wrong house !" Your brother rudely says before closing the door to their faces , but Kili is quick to hold on it and open it wide again

" What ? Has it been cancelled?" He asks first

" No one told us !" The other one named Fili continues

" There is nothing to be cancelled!" Bilbo respond as a new spark forms in Kili's eyes

" That's a relief !" He says moving Bilbo to the side as he and the other enters the home while he winks at you .

You blush hard making him grin as he mades his way to the rest of them .

"These need to be sharpened " Fili says , handing your brother a bag full of weapons

" Its nice this place ! Pretty clean " Kili says , a compliment you assume.

" Don't do this please !" You say to Kili panicked ,watching him taking off his boots with the help of your mother's wooden box .

" Do what ?" He says taking off the other one too .

You facepalm yourself " Nevermind " you say moving to his spot in other to clean up the mess he made with the garden mid he left behind.

You sigh cleaning the rest of the floor with the wet cloth as you can feel his eyes on your back .

" What's the matter my lady? It's just a little mud , why bothering to clean it?" He asks , his smirk never leaving his face .

" I want my floor to shine , don't you clean up in your home?" You ask sighting again as you finish your work .

" I dont have a home " he answers bitterly and for the first time tonight you can see sorrow in his eyes .

" I didn't mean to offend you , I apologize for my careless words ."

You don't bother to ask for more as you make your way inside to make sure your brother is still fine .

It's been an hour since the dwarves arrived at your house and by now 13 of them are sitting in your dining room eating every single thing your pantry had .

Both you and your brother are pissed to death by how careless they are throwing food & wine around like they own the whole place .

The thought of cleaning this home again in order to make it look like one is already tiring itself so the only thing you can do for now is sigh and simply lean back on your armchair.

You've closed the glass door of your living room leaving the 13 dwarfs , Gandalf and your brother speak aloneas you sit in your usual spot next to the fireplace enjoying the company of the fire while eating some black berries you could reach from your living room window .

It was the only snack left available so you were pretty much grateful for it .

" May I interrupt?" A voice asks making you flinch as you grab your bowl tightly screaming a little.

"Oh my ! Who is it?" You ask laughing a bit at your reaction, as the young dwarf comes to your sight.

"Are you alright beautiful?" He asks calmly as another smile adores his face .

" Yes I am , you just startled me a bit " you explain yourself, getting to the floor next to him " Wanna have one?" You ask moving the still full of berries bowl to his reach

" oh my faves ! " he says grabbing a handful of them before eating them one by one

"Thank you " he says getting closer to you as you both look down the fire .

" What brings you here Mr. Kili?" You ask

" Gandalf wanted us to meet your brother for a secret business I cannot tell you " he says eating more berries.

" what has my brother to do with your business? " you ask confused

" we need a hobbit to help us " he says

" Dont you think that 2 Hobbits would be better then?" You ask giving him a playful smile .

" you have a really good point mrs. Baggins ! I'll have to talk this out with the rest of them !" He says getting up

" its Y/n " you say shyly.

" Nice to meet you mrs. Y/n then , hope I'll have more time with you tonight, my time is up." He says as he gives you a kiss on the top of your palm before moving out of the room and heading back to the room the rest of them were .

" Nice to meet you too Kili" you wisper mostly to yourself before filling your mouth with another handful of berries .
