Day 17 of wayfebruary ladies and gentlemen...

Let me introduce you my Hooked Wayfinder fanart that I named "See You Out There" , since I watched the second film I wanted to challenge myself with thise piece especially with the tattoos, gotta be honest painting Maui's was a real challenge 'cuz it's not just to find the right color but also the right positionof them, they may not look perfect but it was fun anyway.

What I love about his art is the hair painting and the clothing, I took my time to paint the hair and I was patient enough to do the highlight and shading ´cuz we all know it´s not easy the hair process.

Anyway I wanted to recreated the scene where Moana is brought out to life and becomes a demigodenness, after she and Maui pulled Motu Fetu off of the ocean, I think it would've been amazing that they at least hugged each other 'cuz I have the feeeling that something was missed in that scene *cough* a kiss *cough*, but who says you can dream of it.

Anyway guys, thanks for all the support on Discord and thanks to @zabchan for her Moana's tattoo analysis it actually helped me to get the references I needed for her tattoo and also thanks to @cartoonjessie for her old Maui's tattos png and for creating this amazing event, I really got fun in itand I hopeyou guys love my art just as much as I do, and remember...

Day 19 of Wayfinder February!

This is how I'd imagine them messing around, throwing each other off the canoe, Maui shapeshifting into different maneuvers, and the ocean third wheeling them.

It was finally over.

Nalo was defeated - Motunui was safe - and the celebration that had followed had lasted a week.

Most of her village was still sleeping, exhausted by all the partying, but under the morning sun she found herself swimming out into the ocean, towards a familiar rock where she could rest and let the waves crash around her.

It was her idea of a perfect morning, the weight of her responsibilities lifted, the threat that had loomed over them for months evaporated, and her heart full of hope while she was surrounded by the ocean she loved so much.

When she saw a shark's fin a little further in the water, she immediately pulled her legs up onto the rock, until she realized this wasn't a spot where sharks usually came, and this one had a familiar feeling about him anyway.

She'd wondered where he'd gone after they'd danced most of the night away.

"I know it's you, Maui," she sang playfully, to which he immediately transformed his upper body into his demigod self, letting his elbow rest on the rock as he put his chin on his hand and looked up at her, his hair still adorned with the lei the people of Motunui had gifted him.

"Sup curly," he said smoothly. "Out for a swim?"

"Ah, you know me, just hanging with the ocean. How about you?"

"Just checking up on my favorite demigoddess," he said while he let his gaze glide appreciatively over the outfit she had worn for the festivities, his eyes lingering a little longer on her legs than they usually would.

"Hey, my eyes are up here," she said teasingly - poking him in the chest with her toes.

"Can't blame me for checking if you didn't get any new tattoos after saving the world!" he said defensively, grinning at her.

"Ah is that your excuse?"

He looked up into her eyes with a playful look. "Would you prefer it if I gave you another one?"

"Let's hear it," she dared him with a wide smile.

"Just unable to tear my gaze from the most beautiful demigoddess in the entire ocean," he said smoothly, and she bit her lip in appreciation of his compliment.

"You know just what to say to make a demigoddess feel special."

Funny situation, I drew one art where Maui can't express his tender feelings for Moana properly and so I used the "Shark Head" trick again to avoid awkwardness, but subscribers developed the theme with this situation and I decided that it deserves a continuation in the form of a mini-comic :)

P.s. Sorry, I'm taking exams, a little busy for now, but I will try to post art more often🙏🏻

Tbh the problem with ship wars is that everyone tries to find a moral high ground to prove their ship is superior when actually shipping should be about making two characters kiss like a kid playing with barbie dolls

One of my first assignments for #moana 2. The initial idea was that #Maui would use his tattoos to lasso the sun beams, but I think him using a rope is more readable. These were pretty quick, since we were initially on a lot shorter schedule. Definitely would’ve liked to have taken them further

(OP's note: one of the first animators that acknowledges the time crunch they were in - furthermore, kind of an interesting last drawing of Moana helping out in raising Motufetu.)

I can't believe I drew something so gay, I love them so much.

Human palladian × Demi-human sorcerer × dragon-born sorcerer.

Just some old art files I found on my phone and still love a lot. The two characters on each side have never met (if they did they'd try to kill each other lol, lore reasons) but their player and owner are the same person, and they really like my OC Natsuki in the middle.

My style keeps changing but I will always love the way I drew this piece.
