What do you personally think a world where Monty Python never existed would be like and why?
Junk emails wouldn't be called "spam" I know that for certain.

Hiya! Have you seen the animated Graham Chapman tribute biopic called "A Liar's Autobiography" (2012), which was based (albeit a bit loosely) on the comedic autobiography of the same name? If so, any thoughts?
Hello!
I haven't watched this either!
Blimey, and I call myself a Graham fan XD I have seen a few clips of it, and I do actually own it, so I do intend to get round to it at SOME point!

Hi! i was wondering if you’d read graham’s biography by bob mccabe. there’s some rather upsetting stuff in there and i wanted to know what you made of it, if youve read it.
Hello! I haven't read it, but I have heard of it and have heard and read some... hmm... shall we say mixed reviews. From what I understand, you get a much better understanding of Graham's life and personality through the view of other Pythons - in terms of his work ethic and personality I suppose, especially from John. Michael's diaries also tend to mention Graham a lot (much more than I expected them to!)
But I've heard the Bob McCabe book has interviews with David Sherlock and Graham's brother so I can't imagine why it wouldn't have very personal insight into his life. I am guessing the upsetting stuff you're referring to is his battle with alcoholism and his homosexuality - which were big factors in his life, sure, but most of the bad rep for the book that I've seen was that it seemed to focus almost solely on this, and not on anything else, and that one shouldn't be defined solely by their addiction and sexual orientation... after all there's much to a person than just that, and we all know Graham was a very complex individual.
It's why I've steered clear of the book personally... but that's not to say that I won't pick it up one day out of curiosity!

Hello! Have you seen that Monty Python biopic of sorts called "Holy Flying Circus" that came out 12 years ago in 2011? It's basically about the controversies surrounding the Pythons' movie "Life of Brian" at the time, except told in a more comedic Pythonesque way.
If you have seen it, any thoughts on the movie?
Hello! Well... I'm only about four months late answering this and for that I can only apologise!
I have seen Holy Flying Circus and I absolutely love it. I've actually watched it at least three times :D The first time I watched it I wasn't a superfan like I am now, and was only vaguely aware of the LoB controversy, so it was a bit weird going into without really knowing the Pythons that well. The main reason I actually wanted to watch it was because I'd heard it was very Michael/John centric and that it was kind of shippy... I was like.... ok I have to see this, haha. (I wasn't disappointed!)

But since becoming a huge fan and Pyhtonite, I've watched it a couple more times and have loved it on every watch. I think all the actors played their respective Pythons really well, especially Charles Edwards as Mike. I think it was clever that they didn't take the film too seriously and almost made the whole thing a sort of parody of the debate, rather than trying to do something historically accurate. It was very Pythonesque in that way, and whilst I would love to see another Python biopic at some point (especially something that focuses on Graham), I think Holy Flying Circus is a delightful addition to the Python library of goods :)
