IRONFEST 2017

It's always great to be back at Ironfest! I love the costumes and the people! Lithgow is the perfect location for such a festival. The diffused light, moody clouds and slightly wintery weather all come together to create a great atmosphere.

It's the people that make it great though, the cosplayers, historical reeenactors, blacksmiths, sideshow acts and any other form of alternative culture you can think of. Perhaps Ironfest's strongest asset is that there is a sense of commonality and good will amongst it's diversity.

I took a lot of photos this year, so doing it in 2 parts. Part one is a collection of head-to-toe shots of some fav outfits and just some friendly people who posed for me.
