26-year-old Jamarion Robinson’s grandmother Beverly Nixon said her grandson was bipolar and schizophrenic. Still got shot 76 (!!!) times. Would a white person get the same treatment?

The witness said he saw more than a dozen patrol cars at the complex where US Marshals killed Robinson on August 5, 2016. Why were there no behavioral specialist? Surely one of them would know how to interact with a bipolar schizophrenic better than the police.

I’m absolutely disgusted.

also i see soooo many people (americans) posting about whats happening with trump and iran right now which is awesome we need to be talking about it but this is also just a reminder that the us isnt the only country with a disastrous government nor is it the only one on the brink of war. australia has essentially been fighting a war for about two months as several fires along its coasts burn the entire country down. thousands upon thousands are being displaced and at risk because they have a government full of climate change deniers and a lack of help and resources and money to stop them. its residents are living in smoke with no access to safety, food, housing, or water. we need to do better educating this community about whats happening internationally. im not posting this because one is more important than the other, but we need to talk about australia, too.

It’s the 1st day of 2020 and I’ve been in tears all morning. My home is burning. Literally the entire east coast of Australia is on fire. And it’s not going to stop for a while. And what’s worse, hardly anyone outside of Australia is talking about it.

Australian news were plastered with constant information on the Californian and Amazon rainforest fires.

Where’s our coverage overseas?! Where’s our thoughts and prayers?! Where’s our help?!

People are dying. Millions of animals are dying. Homes are being destroyed. Trees, bush land...over 5 million hectares of it is gone!

I feel so fucking helpless, angry and heartbroken all at the same time.
