Dear submitter: you’d need to say a LOT MORE if you’re trying to submit an indie game character into a poll where he will inevitably run into a main series character with a big ass audience (like Fenris).

Flannán mac Lugh is a worker’s rights king who has been fighting to better the rights of his people and those who do not belong to nobility. He can and WILL take care of you in the long run. He is honest and straightforward and knows himself. He IS your ride or die once you’ve decided working with him.

He will also craft you PRESENTS should that be your thing. He is a blacksmith and a carpenter. You too can have the euphoria of a boyfriend who can and will MAKE YOU STUFF.

Ludicrous amounts of subtext (and possibly eventual text) about being a werewolf. Like seriously. The Good People (Na Daoine Maithe) was successfully funded on Kickstarter in January 2023. While our full game is in development, interested parties can play our FREE DEMO out now on Steam and Itch.io! Check our pinned post for links!

I have a question. When the full game comes out will we have to buy the routes individually or the whole game? Also, since right now its coming out in routes, when, lets say, robin's route came out, can i just buy robin's route or will i have to buy all the previous routes that have already come out too?

Hi there! At the moment, we are most likely going to be releasing NDM in an "early access" state at a reduced/discounted price to account for the missing content. This price will gradually increase as more content is completed, but if you already purchased the game, the new routes will be automatically added if you downloaded the game on Steam. (This will not be the case for Itch.io, which will require users to download patches or sometimes the entire game again. For this reason, updates to Itch.io may be later than Steam.) This means that purchasing NDM early on will ultimately be cheaper than waiting for your favourite routes to drop.

With that being said, regardless of how the routes are released, we hope that the majority of our players will take enough interest in the broader plot of NDM to explore the story from the other routes, since this is the intended way of engaging with NDM and doing otherwise would be an incomplete experience. By only playing one route, not only will you be missing out on the unique perspectives of the other characters, and even miss interactions with your favourite character in the other routes, you will also be missing out on the continuation of your relationship with your favourite character in secret story, i.e. the sequel route to all routes, which changes depending on who you decide to end the story with and is only unlocked by obtaining the good endings (romantic or platonic) for all of the characters. If you're not interested in these characters even in a platonic sense, we understand this may be frustrating, but at the end of the day the secret story won't make sense without the context provided in the other character routes. It would basically be like reading chapter one of a book, skipping ahead to chapter five, and then skipping ahead again to the last chapter. That is, it would be an unfinished and frustrating read.
