hi there, i was just re watching 2x09 and i was wondering if you ever had any metas on that girl in the stands who looked like she was crying when Lydia was hallucinating?
I personally haven’t done any meta on this, but I know somebody did! I’ll check with the meta group and get you a link!
I do know the girl in the stands in 2x09 is the actress who plays Laura Hale (Haley Roe Murphy).
I will add a little something here - the Teen Wolf book “On Fire” by Nancy Holder.
It’s not exactly canon…really, it’s more like marginally sanctioned fan fiction, but I am going to bring this up anyway.
In the book, Laura and Derek are at school when the fire happens (which is also stated in the show). BUT they went to school super early. They should have been home and it was still dark out. Kate had intended to kill both of them as well, they were just lucky enough not to be there.
So anyway, in the book, Laura found out the news while she was at school and Derek knew something terrible happened because he heard her scream.
And in the book, the bleachers are one of Laura’s hang out spots.
Could be nothing, could be something. Thought you might find it interesting.
