Ending...

That afternoon she was thinking why she couldn't complete the story she had written in the childhood. That paper was crumbled because of the hesitation but she still remembers the story.

She penned down the story and now it was the end that she was thinking, suddenly music was off. Her husband asked for the coffee. She got coffee for both but she was still thinking of the end.

She finished her coffee and thought to write but her little girl had torn the pages of her notebook and the story still has no end.

Sugarfree or Stressfree?

Time passed away and there were no ants in the house. It seemed the medicine was working that she had bought.

Now there will be no ants in the food and she was stressfree.

It was tea time and she went to the kitchen to prepare the Tea. She used to make the best Tea in her family. She put the pan on the stove and opened the sugar jar, it was empty. She was robbed of all the sugar by the ants. She took a deep breath and said it is time to go sugarfree to be stressfree.

Short Story:

That day she was sitting by the window and watching the sunset. It was not peaceful within but she kept staring at the sun.

Next day sun rised but she was not there..

She had shifted to the next building, and there were no windows, it was a Morgue!

Women’s Day!!

Woman, an unending support of a family, a hardworking resource for an organization and a path builder of a society. The era of rigid and conservative rules have changed for women. Recently, Twitter launched a campaign #PositionOfStrength to boost Women Empowerment and let women raise voice against any form of discrimination. This campaign will boost gender equality gap.Let’s not go too far, Actresses Jessica Chastain and Juliette Binoche, singer Queen Latifah, and film director Catherine Hardwicke have also joined bandwagon. They have joined production company, We Do It Together (WDIT) to produce films and TV that boost the empowerment of women.But what form the basis of this Women Empowerment are three L’s i.e. learning, labour and leadership. Women learn from every step of life from household jobs to work environment. They are into manual labour as well as wage labour from cutting vegetables to writing a code. Women stand everywhere courageous and face challenge from managing a dish-washing soap for a fortnight to a team in office. She always stand upfront sometimes with heavy heart but never give up and have broken shackles of exclusion.We at SpadeWorx also celebrated the womanhood by honoring the women of our organization. Lunch was organized for them where delectable dishes decorated the plates. In the evening we had special session for Women, where all opened up and untangled their hidden struggle and challenges they faced till now. Session concluded with the motivating videos that lightened the mood of teary-eyed ladies.And I am concluding this post by this line; “We are women of 2016, who are balanced, witty and powerful. May this zeal never ends, Happy Women’s Day..”

The Conjuring Night...The night of horror..!!

Last night after a long gap I enjoyed the time with my roomies.

In the morning we had planned Pani Puri in dinner at room. I left office at 7:30pm while on the way one of my roomie told me to bring Gulab Jamun as sweet dish. I felt happier as thought I will enjoy a good meal but didn’t know a horrifying incident is on its way.

I reached home, every one  got freshened up. One of my roomie reached after me but other two had prepared Indian chat and all sides for it.

We started enjoying this Bachelor meal with TV show Big Boss as our entertainer. We finished almost 3 packs of Indian Chat with Methi Mathri (Fenugreek flavored crisp savory discs). We ate 4 times to our appetite laughing and enjoying Big Boss fights.

At 10pm we all cleaned up the mess and decided to watch The Conjuring. It was my third time to watch that. When I saw 1st time I couldn’t sleep till 2:30 am thought witch will jump off my shelf over me. Finally had to call my roomie who was in other room to let me sleep in her room as 3:07am is near to and I was frightened.

This time I thought I won’t watch as I feel negativity after watching it. But my roomies insisted to watch else witch will come in other room as all were in 2nd room.  We started watching, I thought I won’t watch movie but see if other girls give same reaction as I had given. Neha who shares my room gave no reaction. I thought she is strong and won’t get frightened.

Movie ended at 12:15, everyone started to retire to their beds. My brother was on the way to his room as he was traveling from 8 hrs. from his college to his room in Mumbai so I called him whether he reached his room or not. When I came back Neha had already fallen asleep. I pushed door hard as I didn’t want the door to get open at night and frighten me. I closed window as it is raining heavily these days at night.

When I was doing it, suddenly a sound came from my back. An umbrella that I had slung on my door fell and opened. That umbrella never fell as we daily push door hard while we go out. I started screaming. Neha who was sleeping suddenly wake up she saw me then umbrella she screamed even harder and I moved near her bed and again screamed. I was shivering and Neha stopped screaming and started talking to me as I was frightened so that I will cool myself.

We couldn’t sleep till 1:30 as I was having negative thoughts that Witch will fall over me and all.

Then, Neha called the other roomie in next room she opened door for us and we shifted our bedding to their room aand slept keeping all lights on.

Some thoughts were doing rounds in my mind, was really someone in our room or not, that umbrella never falls but why did it fell that time only...some questions remain unanswered..
