I like to believe that after all those years Lamb can’t remember what their name was, for centuries people have call them anything but it. Instead of choosing a new one, they want Narinder to do it. What’s a name after you’ve give them everything?

When you’re just an innocent little lamb picking some flowers through Darkwood but your rancid cat keeps you protected. To be honest, I would be more scared of The Lamb.

"I've made a new friend today, lamb."

Trudging along, bells toiling, the god of mercy visits the plains once more in search of lost souls in need of saving. A lush flower grove grows beneath their hooves, only to quickly rot and age underneath the crimson cloak. The scent of herb coated the ancient long gone architecture with new vigor.

Narinder still clings to their ancient master, loyal as always joining the solemn walk. He announces his blessed day, he made a friend, looking up to the towering beast for a sign that he has been heard. He almost wishes to choke a sob, for he sees there's none. A trudge, new life, for it to end, the echos of chimes, an omen of sleep. He remembers the days when he despised the infant god for being so childish, the cursed mocking laughter of a sickly kind soul, to see the joy written on their face, to see how proud they were when the news was given. Delight that Narinder is no longer so lonesome with the new family. He'd give anything to break this damned curse, just to see that annoying, pitiful, awful, smile again.

☀️ Little explanation ☀️

Because yes, it has more meaning than it seams but I don’t want to spoil too much. Life wants to help his sister Eki (The child of The Sun), but for his plans to work, he needs to be patient. For now, their fate is in the hands of Time (Death’s father).

What does this poem mean? When Life achieves his goal, when “the sun rises” (his sister) he won’t come back to Aspen. But for now, he can enjoy his time with him.

I often talk about Life’s hands and how he always has them covered because of his powers. Touching a mortal can be very overwhelming for him, as he can see and feel their whole life and worries in a confusing spiral of information. So you can understand how important it is for him to expose his hands for someone else like this. To get to know them fully, even if overwhelming.

Curious as to what program you use to write. Like I see the mention of ‘set target’ and ‘reading time’ in what you shared in your updates.

CALMLY WRITER I cannot recommend it enough if you have a hard time focusing. It does for me in my brain what google docs can't. There's a desktop download version and an online browser version. Desktop version is ten bucks and online browser is free. Desktop version doesn't have a online backup but does save your progress automatically like google docs does, and online version does the same, but you can directly upload to google drive from there. There's also more features in desktop version. Sometimes I'll switch between the two.

ZEN WRITER is also one of my favorites. That thing is SUPER customizable. 10/10
