Color Correcting 101 (SAVE this post) 🎨 I always talk about the importance of skin prep before applying makeup but also want to share how IMPORTANT it’s to color correct where needed only! The simple act of brand new lipstick is a magical ritual that gives me satisfaction. Some women are intimidated by red lipstick and claim that it is "not a color for them." Actually, we can all wear a red lipstick. We just have to find the tone that best suits us according to our skin color. There is a lot of difference between a red with orange undertones to one with violet undertones. The correct one for you will depend on your undertone. For example, if you’re warm a red lipstick with orange undertones would look best on you and if you’re cool toned a violet (blue - pink) undertone would be best.
