Sleeping Beauty: Princess Aurora [ISFP]

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Aurora is a very compassionate but independent girl, who dreams of having her own life and romance. She doesn’t easily share her true feelings with others, but instead chooses to act on them, even to the act of pricking her finger on a spindle, because she feels “pulled” to do it.

Extroverted Sensing (Se): She greatly enjoys the outdoors, and spends her free time not reading books or sewing, but walking through the woods and interacting with her woodland creature friends. Aurora likes to dance and sing, and do physical things; she is startled when Prince Philip appears, but then quickly but shyly makes friends with him. She adapts to her surroundings without a pause, easily interacting with her “friends” and responding to their ideas.

Introverted Intuition (Ni): Her vision of the future and her impending romance is startlingly accurate; Aurora has a bit of a dreamy side to her personality, that causes her to ponder internally with some intensity, until her friends pull the truth from her. She is drawn to the mysterious and magical, and trusts her instincts.

Extroverted Thinking (Te): Though she is sometimes late and misses doing her chores, Aurora is gently forceful in her opinions and desires to have some control over her own future. She also is able to consider the consequences of befriending a total stranger in the wood, and allowing him to know where she lives.

Women of GoT S8 Ep3

Let start with my favorite: Sansa

Ok first off she is not weak! She wanted to stay up on the battlements with Arya but knew that she would just be a liability up there so she left. I think she was talking to herself just as much as she was talking to Tyrion when she said they needed to look the truth in the face, and the truth is they are not great soldiers they are great thinkers. However she shows her courage when she is willing to fight in the crypts (I have never been so mad at anything as much as I am about the fact that they cut the scene where she killed whites!!!) This moment above was one of my favorites of the episode because is shows their fear, their respect for eachother, and that they are gaining streangth from eachother. They are both hiding because of fear and individually they might have stayed hidden but they realize together that they are strong and brave and that they need to do something and they do. Also I never shipped them before but seriously Sophie Turner has chemistry with everything she comes in contact with 😍🥰

Daenerys

I want to preface this section by saying that she is not my favorite character. Whis that said I think that the reason people think she was useless is because they expected to much from her. The people who expected her to single handedly defeat the NK were not being practical because besides having dragons she is not really that useful in battle, and we knew from last episode that dragon fire would probably not work because Bran was all like 🤷‍♂️. For those who complained that her picking up a sword and fighting was unrealistic and stupid, I would say it would have been if she picked up a weapon for the first time and was Arya level skilled but she was not. It is not impossible that the fear of death and adrenaline would give her the streangth and fortitude to pick up a sword and use it. Even in real life people d amazing things when their life or the lives of their loved ones are in danger (so for me this is compleatly practical). However that fact that between her and Jorah, they beat back an entire swarm of the dead, that gets a little more unbelievable.

Missandei

She stood up for her queen, her friend, the person she believes the most in; this is not a surprise or anything to get rieled up about. It did surprise me that neither she or greyworm died and so I am expecting something from their story line (something other than seeing the breaches again).

Brienne

How did she not die. Don’t get me wrong I love her and I want her to be Sansa’s Queens Guard, but her ark has ended. I thought the only way she would survive is if someone sacrificed themselves for her (like Tormund, Jamie, or Pod). There were sooooo many characters that I don’t understand how they survived and she is just in the long list. If you are in the front lines and never get a break, I don’t care how good you are at fighting one of them are going to die. Ok rant over, I am glad she survived I just don’t understand.

Lyanna Mormont

Ok, so this was bad ass but it felt a little too fan service-y. I have had all kinds of feeling for her over the years but it was sad to see her go. I will miss the way she put Jon in his place when he was being stupid (especially because people seem fine when Lyanna does it but they throw a freakin fit when Sansa tell him he is being an asshole).

Melisandre

I have never been a fan of her but she fuckin did the damn thing. She came out and showed us all that Dany is not the only one with a little fire power. I was a little disappointed that there was no conversation about being on Arya’s list but they did have a nice moment. Also I really like that she went out on her own accord and that Davos let her walk into the abyss (because he clearly wanted to go after her and execute her).

Arya

So if you are still reading then I have not totally piss you off yet but I am about to so here we go. I don’t understand why Arya was the one to kill the NK? I screamed with joy when she did (and I am happy that it was not Jon or Dany) but it just does not make sense. I understand wanting to shock people and have someone unexpected kill him but why not Bran or Sam, who have both been studying and obsessing over him for years. Arya has been studying killing and has been a student of the god of death but it does not add to her story line or character arch. it was a cool sense (amazing visuals) but it just does not add anything to the story.

An entire culture wiped out and I’m actually really really upset about it. May they ride through the night lands forever in peace 💔

The Legends of the Battle of Winterfell

Just think about how, amidst all the sorrow and loss and suffering of the Battle of Winterfell, so many new songs and stories were born that night. Legends that rose from the ashes and the rubble, that will go down in Westerosi history and that every child will know, just like the tales of Bran the Builder and Nymeria of Ny Sar and Aemon the Dragon Night…

Lyanna Mormont, the Giant Slayer. The last of the brave and bold and beautiful She-Bears of Bear Island. Who asked no one’s permission and would let no man fight for her. Who never ran and hid, who refused to sit idly by, who always answered the call. Who was fearless in the face of fear itself. Who lived a legacy and died a legend. The smallest of small who slain the tallest of all. And though she be but little, she was fierce.

Theon Greyjoy, the Ironborn. The Kraken who climbed out of the darkness of the depths of the sea to bid a brave farewell to the land he called home. The man who lived long enough to see himself become a villain, but decided he would write the ending of his own story, and die a hero instead. Who gave his life to protect a boy that was his brother in every thing but name. A good man who is gone but will go on forever, what is dead my never die.

Jorah Mormont, the Andal. The Prodigal Son, who returned home with the wind at his back and fire in his heart. Who defended his beloved queen with his very last breath. He was lost until she found him and he would be lost with out her. He was the strength in her heart as she was the light in his darkness, and he would never lose her again. Here we stand had been his words in another life time when he was another man. But it was here, in the lands of winter, that he made his last stand. Here he bravely stood and fought until he could stand no longer.

Eddison Tollet, the Last Lord Commander Crow. He was watcher on The Wall, a shield that guarded the realms of men. Who would bear no sons and have no wives, but would have a band of black brothers instead. The fearless leader of the most unlikely of heroes. Who died as he told his friend to get up and fight and LIVE. Who never gave up, never stopped, never retreated, never wavered. Who never left a brother behind.

Ser Brienne the Brave and Ser Jaime the Lionheart, the Most Honorable Knights of the Seven Kingdoms. The disgrace of a daughter and the man who unmade kings. Who were perhaps the unlikeliest of partners, but were a perfect pair all the same. Two halves of the same sword, who danced their deadly dance with an even deadlier foe. Who stood and fought by each others’ sides through the Long Night, and who’s love lived to see another dawn.

And finally…

Arya Stark, Azor Ahai, the Princess That Was Promised, the Bringer of Light, and the Queen of the Dawn. The water dancer who was swift as a dear and silent as a shadow. The girl who was once No One and that saved everyone. The woman who destroyed the enemy no man could kill. The she wolf of Winterfell who saved the world. The Alpha who protected her home and her family, the pack that was fierce and terrible and hers. The sister who risked it all in a moment of insane courage and pure love to save her baby brother. Who ended the long night with a swipe of her knife, and brought the new dawn. Who looked Death straight in the eye and told him “Not Today.”
