A few things to clear up about crystals:

"Unnatural" or man made crystals aren't worthless just because they were made in a lab. Less slave labor is a good thing. The biggest difference is that natural crystals have absorbed the energy of their environment and their history. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. I recommend cleansing your crystals and adding your own energy to them anyways, but that's just me.

On that same note: angel aura quartz and mystic topaz (and anything along those lines) aren't worthless either. They're made by coating the surface with a fine mist of metal. It alters the properties but does not block any energy it holds.

Moldavite will not ruin your life. Lots of people prefer to wear, store, or carry it with a balancing crystal to make the experience of being around it less intense (the first time I wore it my entire arm felt tingly. This isn't uncommon), I personally like smoky quartz, but either way it won't ruin your life. It might heighten your reactions to stressful situations, but it won't just cause them as many have claimed.

I still think that my favorite urban legend/folklore fact is that there are certain areas in New Orleans where you cannot get a taxi late at night not because it isn’t safe, but because taxi companies have had recurring problems of picking up ghosts in those areas who are not aware that they are dead and disappearing from the cab before reaching the destination and therefore stiffing the driver on the fare causing a loss for the company.
