Spider-Man 94 Returns!

Coming out this fall. Is the continuation of the Spider-Man 1994 series into a comic book. Written by J.M DeMatteis and rising star artist and Top Cow Hunt winner from 2017 Jim Towe.

Continuing where the animated series left off after the Spider-Wars story arc. Peter Parker searches for Mary Jane Watson with guidance from Madame Web. Showing recurring villains from the previous series as well as new villains who are making their debut such as Morlun is seen on one of the covers, Molten Man and the famous spider clone Kaine are seen in the preview pages.

With the appearance of Kaine, Dr. Miles Warren is probably embracing his identity as the Jackal. Only time will tell as the series will be released in early September as a 5 issue limited series.

Future of American Toku:

Since the end of Power Rangers with Cosmic Fury. As well as a heritage auction that just recently occurred a few months ago.

The big question remains. What's going to happen in the future?

With the Power Ranger comics still ongoing with adding Power Ranger Prime to the roster of comics. That series reintroduces VR Troopers into the comic books. With Boom Studios announcing a VR Troopers ongoing series something in 2025, including a Power Ranger/VR Troopers flip comic. Paying homage to the Marvel comic from 1995.

During the time in 1995, Marvel published a one shot of Saban's Masked Rider. The first series that ties in with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers universe.

Later, Image Comics through the Extreme Studios imprint released a one-shot of Power Rangers Zeo. Within the issue, it teased with a pin-up with an ad for an ongoing Beetleborgs series that never came out..

The following year, Acclaim comics did a digest size comic book featuring Power Rangers Turbo, Masked Rider and Samurai Pizza Cats. Only 3 books were published. The third book did a dimensional crossover having the 2nd Turbo Ranger team face off against the Beetleborgs Metallix.

It wasn't until Boom Studios got the rights to publish Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers comic book series years later. Bringing great stuff to the series such as: Lord Drakon, Ranger Slayer, the Return of the Green Ranger, The Omega Rangers and new Megazord combinations. Confirming previous tie-ins such as Planet Edenoi and King Lexian.

With last year's announcement of the V.R. Troopers returning to the pages of comic books in the new Power Rangers Prime series and confirming an additional new series to be released later in 2025 in the similar formats to the flip books from Marvel back in the 90s.

Here's hoping to whoever owns the license to do Power Rangers and other old Saban Toku material not to sleep on it and publish new material from these great sources. To continue what they have started in the 90s.

One fun fact about me is that there is a pit in the forest. It is a part of me. I do not know where my reflection ends and I begin and I am so entwined with its murky waters I have begun to wonder if I am human at all, or if I am some creation of mud and wood given life against its will.
