Helldivers proving the universal constant of "you should never engage in a land war in Asia" is always funny. Chinese people are some of the most patriotic people on the planet and you give them a game and tell them to defend Super Shanghai and then act surprised that 200k+ Chinese people suddenly rush on to defend the city and push the invaders back.

They lost Shanghai once, they're not gonna lose it again.
