What I love about ME:
"I love how much I care about people. I just love people so much and I want them to be happy and free and I love that I have that desire to take care of people" Where do you think that came from? "If I look at my grandmothers on both side they both have that same characteristic and I have a feeling that I inherited it from both of them."
What I love about NYC:
"Not surprising I love the people, my friends in NYC. I love that NYC has grown me up. I've been here for 8 years. I moved here when I was 26 years old and it's a gritty city compare to Vancouver, Canada. I built my business here, I got married and divorced here, I made some of my closest friends here and I love that NYC has been the nest, the home, of all of that growth.
Thanks Nisha. You are fabulous.

What I love about ME:
"I love my sense of humor. I'm always trying to make people laugh. She calls me giggle pants and she also calls me Carebear. Is she funny? Oh yeah she always has me cracking me up as well even though she's shy around strangers."
What I love about NYC:
"I've lived here my entire life and I still like to be a tourist at times. I like to go up to the Empire State Building or ride the double decker buses. I just love all the different activities that are right in front of you. Just sitting in the park or taking a stroll. I wouldn't change living in the city with a child. My husband is from a smaller town in Arizona and he's always saying let's move out to the suburbs so she can have space. But I love everything that's available for her as far as culture like going to the museums, the MOMATH is just right there, and all these great museums that other places just don't have. Me: Is it is like you're reliving your childhood through her? Yes, only I think I would teach her how to ride a bike. I'm the only adult I know that doesn't know how to ride a bike! So we'll teach her that.
What do you love about NYC Mckayla? "The parks. The Brooklyn water park!"
Nice. Sounds amazing right about now in this 99 degree weather we are having!
Thanks Cari & Mckayla You both are fabulous.

What I love about ME:
"I love that I'm a total optimist! I have rose colored sunglasses on all the time, figuratively. I rock a smile throughout the streets of New York. I'm really happy to be here."
What I love about NYC:
"I love that it's one of the places in the world where I can do what I'm passionate about for my living and still get by. I get to teach yoga all day long. I travel around the boroughs going to people's houses and different studio's. I think NYC is one of the few cities where I am able to do that so easily and still get by. NYC let's me be passionate about what I do and I love that.
Thanks Alyssa. You are fabulous.

What I love about ME:
"I love that I don't take things too seriously. I love my hair. Part of it is branding because I'm a multi-media artist and filmmaker. I run events and produce things so what I love is that people always recognize me because of my hair. I'll be at certain events and people will say "oh you're the girl with the white mohawk, I saw you at another place". My hair used to be very long, almost down to my butt. I just love short hair and I wanted dye it so one night I got the clippers out and did it in my bathroom. People stop me and ask "who's your stylist and I'm like I am!"
What I love about NYC:
"I love that it's a whole bunch of misfits who live here. It's as though every reject from high school was like I'm going to move to NYC and then become friends with everybody." It's a melting pot of people and it really is the cross roads of the world. I'm from Australia myself. I've been here 8 years. It's a beautiful city, the energy is great, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Thanks Jaclyn. You are fabulous.
Jaclyn teaches a cool workout class called The Sweat Club. It's a full body fitness class, getting you moving to live DJ's playing the hottest tracks and your favorite throwbacks while keeping your heart in sync with the B.P.M.
How cool is that? And very NYC :)

What I love about ME:
"I love my black hair. It's definitely the dark side of my style. I also love that I am a very creative person"
What I love about NYC:
"I love the Freedom. I moved from Poland five years ago and I feel that you can do whatever you want here. If you have dreams, and you work hard, you can make them happen. No matter who you are or what you do, you can express yourself very easily and nobody is going to judge you by the way you look. I also love that people are very open and that everyone comes from different parts of the world. We are all just trying to survive together and have a wonderful life here."
Thanks Izabela. You are fabulous.

What I love about ME:
I love that I give off a friendly energy and people like coming up and speaking with me. It's the hair. Curly hair makes people seem friendly (Yes!)
What I love about NYC:
You can hang around all day and do nothing and not feel like you've wasted the day. You can see so many people walking by and you can feel inspired for tomorrow! You're almost interacting even if you don't speak to people.
Thanks Missy. You are fabulous.

What I love about ME:
My ability to incorporate color into my daily wardrobe. I love my hair. I just wash it. (Wash-n-go people! Not fair!)
What I love about NYC:
There's so much to love. I love to be able to run around the city, do my errands, and say take a little break in the park. I have a flexible schedule. I always wanted to live here because it just seems like the center of everything happening in the US and I just had to be here.
Thanks Veronica. You are fabulous.

Patrice
What I love about ME:
My individuality. I have crazy hair which I think just adds to the effect. One thing I really love about me is the fact that I have overcome a lot of adversity in my life which basically brought me to NYC. I was in the United States Air Force for 6 years as a Civil Engineer.
What I love about NYC:
I love how everybody is very different. Being in the military it's great atmosphere but a lot of people are usually the same because we all have one collective mission, but here in NYC everybody is different and doing their own thing.
Thanks Patrice. You are fabulous.

Adoma
What I love about ME:
"I love my style. I'm rockin' these shorts right now that I made and I love that. I love fabric and everything design. I love my own sense of aesthetic and I enjoy print."
What I love about NYC:
"It's my home, NYC is very home for me. Anywhere else I go in the world I always have a desire to come back. I'm from Queens originally. I love Harlem and it's authenticity, the architecture, the people, the food, it's dependability. I feel like I can rely on Harlem in a sense. I love Brooklyn. Even as it's changing I still love New York. I love running into people who are creative and doing their own thing. There's an abundance of that in NYC."
Thanks Adoma. You are fabulous.
