FINALLY GOT THIS FINISHED!!!!!!! Work has been horrendous this summer so I was too exhausted to add songs. But thankfully on my day off with the cold rain hitting my window, I was able to get it done. Also, with TUDUM on Saturday my excited for them has been high. Hope you all enjoy this 3rd volume of songs that make me think of them!

My first playlist was getting pretty long! And me, being crazy obsessed with music, will never stop adding! 😂 Especially considering they just now started filming season 2! So I have limited myself to 100 songs per playlist. I suspect there will be MANY volumes....🤣

These 54 songs were originally in the first playlist so this volume is already over half way done. I will be adding the rest soon. I hope you like what I have so far!

Is this thing on? I think Bridgerton has brought me back here. So far this is the best place for Kate and Anthony content. I do miss being engulfed in fandom. But as I age (I’m about to be 31 in April), I move more and more away from that kind of immersion. I still freak out over my ships but I post less about it now. However, like I said, I do miss it. So we’ll see.

IT HAPPENED. THE OLICITY WEDDING TRAIN HAS REACHED ITS DESTINATION. 

I’ve been talking about Olicity getting married since the Berlanti interview where he said, “… but there aren’t alot of superheroes who are married.” I think the opening question was where Olicity goes to dinner. That was his answer. Work on that poker face, Greg.

We have discussed and theorized this day for YEARS. So much emotion and expecation has been poured into it. So, what did I think of the final result? Well…

Kreisberg Allegations

As most of you probably know, Andrew Kreisberg is being investigated for sexual harassment. This investigation is a direct result of this Variety article where 19 people came forward to discuss the harassment and abuse they suffered from Andrew Kreisberg.  There’s been a flurry of responses to the article from cast and crew on Twitter. To be honest, I’ve been too angry and disgusted to really sit down and write something, save for my reactions on Twitter. Also, I’ve been waiting for some kind of formal statement from the network, executive producers, anybody but that’s not happening anytime soon so it seems. So, here’s where I’m at on all of this.

(Part 1) This is the TV assistant anon who messaged you about Kreisberg. I just wanted to say thank you so freaking much for your response. The last two days have been rough - my bosses are friends with him and our office has been filled with talk defending him. Saying things like he didn't know any better and if someone had just talked to him, he would have stopped. (Even though I know for a fact this isn't true bc at least one of my friends reported his behavior and was completely ignored)

I’ve been thinking about you a lot recently, friend. I can imagine the last few days have been incredibly difficult for those of you inside this quagmire and I’ve been hoping that you have all been safe and protected - as much as is possible, anyway. Again, I’m saddened but not surprised to hear the response from your bosses and ‘friends’ of people like Kreisberg; they’ve been cornered, found out, so of course they’re now lashing out like wounded animals. They’re not just wanting to protect the perpetrators, they’re wanting to protect themselves too, because they allowed this to happen, and if we ‘come for Kreisberg’, then eventually we’ll come for them too. Standard survival instincts, but it’s no less heartbreaking for those of you in the firing line. 

I’ve spent the last few days reading all the stories and accounts of brave women from across all media, women I’ve admired and whose careers I’ve followed since I was a teenager. It is disheartening, and rage-inducing, and I know that it’s only the tip of the iceberg. For everyone speaking out, there are countless others who cannot, who are too afraid to, and my heart breaks for you all. 

I’ll be honest - even being on the periphery of this all, I haven’t known what to say, what to do, how to help. I can only imagine what it must be like for those of you inside it. I’ve been frustrated too, thinking that what we say on the internet won’t bring about change. But then I wake up to incredible displays of strength and solidarity from the actors I have loved for years, particularly the women, who are calling out their bosses, former bosses, and those who protect them without a single fuck to give, and that fuels the fire within me. If they can put their jobs on the line to stand up to those who wrong them and all of you, then I sure as hell can add my voice to the chorus. They are heroines, you are heroines, and the very least we can do is stand beside you. 

I’m publishing this so that the people who saw and reblogged the original post can see your response. I hope and believe that your strength will continue to fuel the fires within them too. 

Stay strong, my friend. Don’t let them win. Protect yourself and those around you as best you can, and know that whenever you need to vent, rage or cry on someone’s shoulder, I am here and I’m listening. ❤️
