you know, I’ve been thinking a lot about why the “realism” argument bothers me so much. i actually fell in love with skam because it was realistic, the way teenagers were portrayed felt more authentic and down to earth than i’ve seen on any other show, and it meant a lot to me

but to me realistic never meant realism over story telling. skam is after all still a fictional tv-show, and a good tv-show should have a good story arc and make artistic choices that fit its story (e.g. soundtrack, cinematography) 

so what i’m saying is i love the realism of skam but many miss what this argument actually means applied to a fictional show imo, it’s not meant to be an excuse or a counterargument for arguably bad pacing or writing

there’s a lot of things that I won’t forgive the skam fandom for or the remake stans fandoms..and reducing Chris Berg to the fun and fat character is one of those things. the show NEVER brought in her weight or made it an issue or anything. the fandom did it. you all did. fake tumblr wokes. // from someone who is the fat friend.

honestly fuck all of you who complain about mia getting a week of clips and maybe Hanna getting another and the only problem you see is Matteo getting nothing... fuck you and stop excusing that on not caring about straight people's storylines !!! your fetishism is showing honey !!!

Maybe people just connect with Matteo and his story more, and want to see him again? It doesn’t necessarily have to do with fetishism, though for some it might. But for some, it might just be because Matteo’s simply their favorite character.

probably,,, I love Matteo with all my heart but I don't want to see him having screen time in amira's season... if we have to see him it should be with amira's pov because we're supposedly (not anymore) in HER SEASON, I just don't get how some of you get super mad about a "white girl" stealing time from a muslim woc but when that person is your fave suddenly that's not a big problem anymore,,,, all I see is double standards.

I hate how there are so many posts going “if there had to be a pov change, why Mia?” or “please give us anyone else but Mia”. I am sorry, but the problem isn’t Mia. The problem is that it isn’t Amira. This was supposed to be her season. And (to me at least) half the posts out there are upset that Mia got an episode instead of Matteo or whoever your fave is. But that’s not the issue. Whoever else might get a pov clip will get it at the expense of the muslim woc main. Would a David pov be great? Yes, but not at Amira’s expense. I don’t know what druck is planning for this week, but if we end up getting Matteo, I really hope the fandom won’t just forget about Amira. “Well, at least it isn’t Mia, so here’s 200 gifs of Davenzi 😍  …Amira who?” Please don’t be like that.
